😐 Hard to justify the wait. My girlfriend and I joined the virtual queue and had to wait 8 hours for our number to come up. We then had to wait another hour and a half in the physical queue. So after almost 10 hours of waiting our expectations were sky high and got an ok 3D game ride. If the wait time... People often mention ride, wait, line, time, game, long, minutes, Story, arms,

Hard to justify the wait. My girlfriend and I joined the virtual queue and had to wait 8 hours for our number to come up. We then had to wait another hour and a half in the physical queue. So after almost 10 hours of waiting our expectations were sky high and got an ok 3D game ride. If the wait times weren't horrifically long this would be a better attraction.

Really enjoyed this interactive ride, I was pretty impressed and surprised by the fact you use your own hands to shoot the virtual spiders vs. using a physical plastic gun to shoot (which was what I was expecting knowing nothing of the ride). This was the first ride we went to when they opened which only led us to lining up for about 30 minutes which was worth the wait in my opinion.

While this ride is quite cute and fun to play with friends / family, this feels like a one and done attraction to me. The wait is always long, and unless you have DAS or can snag a LL early in the morning, it's not worth waiting more than half an hour for. It's also not that special of a ride. The best part is the preshow. They did a really good job with the design of the room you go into, making it authentically look like a lab, and having spiderbot animatronics crawling through the vents. The queue is also really well done. There's lots to look at, like cleverly painted school lockers. Once you get to the ride however, it's not any different than Buzz light-year or midway mania. It's just another shooting game but spiderman flavored. And the fact that they sell $60 score enhancers is ridiculous and shows Disney's true intentions with this attraction, which is to sell more toys and merch. It's not great. The only reason we did it is because the wait was short, DCA is lacking in attractions in general, and I had DAS.

Honestly I’m shocked this ride has any bad reviews, it is such a cool, interactive ride! The whole family enjoyed it, the line can be a bit long, but it’s worth it. It’s also a new ride and those always have long lines for a few years. They have you go into a intro room to talk about how the spider bots got loose and how Peter Parker, spider man needs help to catch them. Then you go down a ramp, grab 3d glasses and jump into the pods for the ride. It was such a fun ride! If you like Astro blasters and the Toy Story ride, then you’ll love this ride!

A subpar interactive ride, relying on screens and paid upgrades to score higher. I paid for the Lightning Lane just to skip the wait for an attraction I wasn't that excited about, and I'm not sure it was worth it either way. The queue is well made but feels hollow and bland for what it is. The tech is certainly impressive but the ride and story aren't compelling enough for a second visit.

Absolutely would not recommend on a sunny day. When my family and I walked up to the front of the line, the sign said it would be a 25 minute wait. Blatant lie, considering the fact that the ENTIRE line was filled(and cramped), but we figured it was only 35-40 minutes, so we got in line. We ended up waiting about an hour and a half to even get inside, and we were stuck throughout all of that in the "hot" sun(it was only 70°F, so it should not need to be considered as such) with no roofing, fans facing the completely wrong direction(they were facing up and away from us rather than down), an entirely metal surrounding, and everyone was totally cramped together. we then got inside, waited for 8-ish minutes, got into the first part of the experience(no spoilers haha), finished that, got into the next room to wait to be boarded, and while I understand this isn't their fault, the ride broke down. that was not communicated, and we stayed stationary for another 15 minutes. All of this, might I add, for a 2-minute long, janky Toy Story Mania Reskin. Dont waste your time. Go spend half the time waiting for rise of the resistance or breakout instead. I am extremely disappointed with this ride.

I really liked this ride, its original that they made the trigger for the shooting ride your hands. It can be a workout but I thought it was really fun.

Huge fan of marvel but this ride came to the least of my expectations. My first time riding this ride was an alright feeling knowing we already have a ride like this such as Toy Story mania. I wish it could be more like a ride rather than just shooting bugs. Everything else about avengers campus though is cool to see 👍🏽

The pre-game video is well made; and the actual game itself is quite new and totally echoing to the theme (quite tiring as well lol)

First time to Disney California Adventure Park on 6/8/2023. We wanted to go on this ride all day long, but the wait times were close to an hour long. So we grabbed a spot in line immediately after the World of Color - ONE show. It was our last chance to ride it before the end of the day. The wait time was only 40 minutes at that point, so this is another ride you should grab anytime there is a shorter wait time or first thing in the morning. I loved the premise of this ride: self-replicating spider robots taking over the world. For those who have ridden the Ninjago ride at LEGOland, there are some similarities with this ride. You need to wear special glasses to see the ride properly, you do motions with your hands to simulate Spiderman web slinging moves, and help him take out the evil robots. The ride is basically moving you from one screen to another playing a game throughout the ride. Overall, I did not feel the ride spun around as much as the Toy Story ride, even though it did have a few spins. I felt it was appropriate for all ages, though some younger kids might be more sensitive to the evil robot content. Our wait time was 40 minutes.

Our first ride at DCA! The queue filled quickly after rope drop and many people didn’t listen to CMs instructions so it’s a little mad where the line begins. We were paired with a cute older couple that were just along for the ride. Fun, interactive game. We did well for our first time through. Would ride again.

It's a very forgettable ride experience. We did it once and wouldn't be in a rush to do it again. There's lots going on and lots to look at, but the using your hands/arms idea is nowhere near as fun as a gun/shooter like similar attractions in the park.

This ride is worth the wait. If you like Toy Story Mania then you'll love Web Slingers. The objectives in the 3 stages give boosts to your score if you meet them all. We ended up being 3rd best of the hour. I appreciate the game being hands-only in a post-covid world. The onboarding and exit of the ride is simple. The graphics are great. 10/10!

should offer a massage afterwards, prepare to wait, line deception seems to be a theme of this theme park, props to the line designers. wait / enjoyment ratio was not in favor of enjoyment, other attractions offered way more. would only do again if we were first in line

Interactive rides are always fun. This one let us experience how to be like Spider-Man for a few minutes. We were so into slinging webs we only noticed our arms became numb after the ride.

So going in, I didn't really have any high expectations after hearing some of the reviews. But I still wanted to check it out anyway. Good things first: I was alone when I went in so I was able to enter the Lightning Lane without much trouble. And then probably the best thing was the pre-show. The projections were top-notch with nano-spiders crawling all over the building, Peter Parker's demonstration. But then came the ride. It's basically Toy Story: Midway Mania with a Spider-Man theme. All you do is shoot at nano-spiders with your arms like Spidey. That's it. Not only do you not swing in the air like him, but your arms will get super tired from shooting at the nano-spiders all the time.

This is one of the best rides in the park! But beware… your arms might hurt after the ride (from shooting so many spiderwebs) 🕷️🕸️ We even met Spiderman afterwards!

This is an attraction is a game ride that incorporates a lot of 3D screens paired with 3D glasses. The most unique aspect is that the cameras detect your arms to interact with the game. The recognition can be a little patchy at times but this ride is overall pretty sick.
