I never take the time to review but my stay was just worth writing about. The room my daughter and I stayed in was absolutely horrible. Aside from finding a blunt, It was ironic to find burn holes in our covers when I specifically booked a non smoking room due to my daughters allergies. The dollar store shower curtain caused a lot of water to leak out of the shower. The smell the room had even after giving us the plug in glade was horrible and never went away. You have people booking these rooms which due to its location most likely are families with kids. Whoever is management at this hotel clearly isn’t doing room walk throughs/ communicating with the owner of the needs of the property. The website writes about newly renovated rooms which is a joke. Don’t even get me started on the cleaning and how our towels were bundled up in the most unsanitary towel holders I’ve ever seen. The weird junk marks all over the room too. I don’t know what else to say aside that I wanted to stay out as late as possible tot avoid being in that room. I really hope you take to heart everything I took the time to write out because I do whenever anyone emails or reviews for the business I work for as General Manager.

Okay here's my honest review. I've saved your before multiple times, and I'd have to say that this current trip has been the best one so far dealing with management staff cleanliness of rooms, the atmosphere around the parking lot and other issues that were non-existent this time compared to prior stays. Front desk is the best I've dealt with anywhere. I enjoyed my stay and sometimes I don't want to go but another reason to look forward to coming back again. Always cost friendly and I never had a room that I've been like "screw this I'm going elsewhere." It's been manageable to my littlest efforts for it to be a great stay!

1 night was enough. Ended up here late after a long day, couldn’t wait to check out quick enough. The room was disgusting, dirty and trash from previous occupants. The door between rooms was screwed shut, Broken and clearly unsafe. The bed was disgusting. The were very suspicious people constantly walking around outside and completely felt uneasy. The AC didn’t work so the room was hot and humid. Front desk said they’d fix it but I highly doubt it. Booked two nights but won’t be going back. Very sketchy. Pictures on site do not even remotely resemble the room.

Better watch your stuff or something will be stolen. The fact theybstile a charger from my friends friend tells me they have stolen more than this from other people. Also the fact that when confronted, and this was also seen by my friend on the phone, they became aggressive. They eventually gave in by allowing a lost and found charger for my friends friend....and the charger they got was THEIR OWN! There is a reason why this place is cheap with bad reviews. This hotel needs to be closed.

Can I give zero stars?? Black mold, condom found by towels, no tv remote, no telephone, urine and blood stained mattress, feces on wall in bathroom, broken bathroom door, dirty bathtub? towels only no washcloths, car alarms and dogs barking all night. Manager does not care. He says go ahead and report to health dep. and leave a bad review.

I wish I could give this place a 0 star review. I could write a very long review of reasons of why you SHOULD NOT stay at this place but let my review pictures speak for themselves. Filing a claim right away! DISGUSTING! Not shown in the pictures: Pillow cases and towels were really dirty, pillows were almost black, the cigarette smell was really strong, floors were sticky. Shown in the pictures: ROACHES, stains, burn holes on sheets and curtains, broken appliances and doors, not clean room. Impressed the city has this place open!!!

Hoping pictures actually get uploaded this time Says non-smoking, smoke detector was ripped off the ceiling, with the metal cage left hanging. cigarette burns on the bed sheets. Used/old razor blade left in the bath tub, to the point it rusted. Cockroaches running around everywhere. Graffiti on the light fixtures and mirrors. Lice on the bed, didn't see any bedbugs, but i didn't look around the bed frame/mattress to find out. Checked out the same night, told the front staff about it, didn't even acknowledge that I said anything. Absolutely do NOT stay here. The trip to an office to get rid of lice and deep cleaning the car was not worth it. Spend an extra 20-30$ and stay somewhere else, pretty much anywhere else. The Walmart parking lot would have been a better choice.

I have spent the night in many a cheap hotel, but this place is so bad, it is not worth any cheap price. I literally would not stay there if they paid me. Their review score is padded by several fake good reviews from the owner. We had just cancelled our booking at a different hotel down the street that didn’t have the right room for us. I should have dug deeper before jumping on the good deal for this hotel, but my kids were tired and we just wanted to get to our room. Huge mistake! The room did have two beds as advertised, and there were towels and a bathroom, but it was all disgusting. The walls were blackened with dirty handprints. There was graffiti on the wall in the room. There were live and dead bugs on the floor in the room. The sheets were not clean, and the room smelled like pot. There were sketchy people hanging out near the other rooms. I wouldn’t be surprised to find out that this is a hotel that the state is sheltering homeless people in. You should not stay here!

DISGUSTING. probably get staff infection from just walking in. I feel like this place is a rent by the hour hotel. Paid for for two nights but stayed one night. Couldn't get the day we didn't use refunded. and brought our own pillows blankets to lay on the bed. Didn't even touch the bedding. Have to have socks or shoes to walk around in. I think this place should he torn down or sold and completely renovated. I've never stayed in a hotel with hard wood. I saw housekeepers cleaning but I think they need to actually clean. If I didn't know, this looks like a drug building. The only positive I can say, the front desk man is very polite and not rude.

Sometimes, you really just get what you pay for... My husband & I had stayed at a different motel on Beach for around the same price & it was great, so my expectations were a little higher than they should have been... We stayed during the three day tropical storm in 08/2023. The room was pretty disgusting. The first thing we do is bleach the whole room, use disinfectant spray on the bed, & sanitize the room as a whole (clean light switches, door handles, floor, etc.) But this place was mildew central. I can still smell it, despite a week having passed. The "dog run" was just a massive pile of feces, & I firmly believe that if the establishment allotted poop bags, maybe ppl would actually pick up after their dogs. The indoor pool looked terrifying. Roaches & bugs ran rampant outside... In the room I only saw a couple & on the second day of rain, my husband opened the curtains & said,"well here's why there's a roach problem." ... There was a trash can directly outside our window that towered at least 3ft high, accompanied by debris scattered beside the trash can. We are newly homeless, so we often snag the cheapest room when we have the funds, if Beachside happens to be that, we will most likely be staying here again. As a rule to everyone who stays in motels, hotels, resorts-- anywhere that isn't "home;" bring your own cleaning tools. We always ALWAYS have Clorox powder bleach, Marvicide spray (life changing cleaner), Tide or Febreeze fabric disinfectant, a small bottle of dish soap, a couple rags & a scrub brush or sponge (dustpan/brush, metal bristled brush, & paper towels are also a good addition) on us AT ALL TIMES. You just never know what life will throw at you, or in what condition your sleeping quarters will be in.

Absolutely disgusting and filthy. The entire room was dirty like it hasn't been cleaned in a while , sheets where dirty like they been slept in toilet was dirty shower was dirty. Unsanitary, places like this is where u contract diseases and get bedbugs. Junkies outside I didn't want to park my car In The parking lot. I want to get my money back for the rest of the days my BF paid for without seeing the rooms first. Not cool that the people who run this place think this is acceptable.

Nice location because it's in proximity of a lot of tourist spots. But the bed didn't have fitted sheet on it and mattress was dingy. Toilet takes up to 3x to flush. No wash clothes or full body towels or microwave in room.

there’s a difference between accepting bare minimum because you just need a hotel to sleep and shower and …… well this place. there’s Roaches and the floor clearly hasn’t been mopped nor the walls whipped down. Bring bleach and your own cleaning crew during your stay <3

This is one of the strangest accommodations I’ve ever stayed in.. The door framed was busted in like someone or the police previously broke in, the dead bolt did not latch. Most fixtures Inside were broken or missing. You get a fridge which is nice and it did work but it was fairly beaten up. Walls were dirty, the bathroom had scribbles on the walls and you are only given hand soap to shower with. Now the shower did feel good, better than my own actually so I will give them that. The outside of this inn does looking many times better and made me think I was going to be staying in a significantly nicer hotel. The environment felt safe in other than the busted in door and I never felt like there were strange people walking about when I arrived around 1AM. I paid $86 through Priceline and really I felt like the value I got was more around the price of $60. I’ve never been a stickler for quality and I don’t need much to be happy. This place is certainly for you if you’re passing through and don’t expect much. I’d stay here again if it was a little bit cheaper.

I stayed at this motel with my two sons. We used to live in orange county so we were visiting La Habra. This motel is a little bit ghetto. We stayed on the 3rd floor. The stairs were killing me. The staff there was very nice. We stayed 3 nights. We went to Camelot and sight seeing on Beach Blvd. The only negative thing we noticed was the air conditioner had mold on it. We took pictures.

This place was disgusting. They mandate you to have daily room service required without the option to deny. Make you sign and review their “rules” yet they don’t even follow their own rules. I requested room service and they don’t even sweep the floor. The bathroom had stains and floors were sticky. Cockroaches were a thing everyday. When confronted the person at the front they told me I had to “request” for room service yet their rules mandated it everyday and it’s even in a big sign behind the door. What a joke, highly would not recommend better to sleep in your car, pay for a gym membership for a shower than here.

Horrible room. The smell was horrendous, the toilet was not cleaned, all table surfaces were dirty and had melted wax. We had to go to Walmart to get cleaning supplies, disenfectent and deodorizer. No blankets, just thin, stained bedspreads. No phone,no coffee pot, no closet, only 3 bath towels... no hand towels or wash cloths. The little fridge had no shelves, and the freezer was almost completely frozen over, except for a plastic container of something left by the previous tenants. Curtains had holes and stains, and there was filth all over the walls. There were people out in the parking lot at all hours of the night, making noise. It was me, my daughter, and 2 young granddaughters. We had nowhere else to go. Did not feel safe, very uncomfortable stay. I would recommend that you pass this place by. Just nasty.

PLEASE PAY DAY FOR DAY !! So I paid for 3 days upfront but no longer needed it for the third i I figured as long as I check out in time I should be able to refunded for the day unused . FALSE I was told i could not get a refund for the day even if I checked out on time. Even thought I paid them directly. Had to take one of these starts away !!!! 2 stars due to the customer service and for its value it is a decent Inn. As far as the the room I’d give it 2.5stars . It did have a funny smell, and the door is a bit heavy. I also could not find any wash cloths or face towels, just body towels and a floor mat. It’s located next to all parks and attraction in the area Disneyland, Knotts Berry farms , Animal rides adventures. As well as restaurants and family themed dining Medieval Times , Pirates dinner adventure. So for the location for a place to sleep it’s giving good value. And right next door to a Batting cage as well.

We got in late and left around 11:00 a.m. Our room was on a busy street all night long. The bed linen was fine and the comforter looked new. The rest of the room could be renovated, especially the bathroom. The room could also use a paint job. I asked for towels in the morning and the front desk person told me if I could find a housekeeper you could ask them but we're a motel not a hotel. The price was right ($69.00), and we checked out at least 10 other places that all were $100.00 plus.

Turns out the reviews on here were true I would not recommend this place ever again. Cockroaches basically stayed up all night. There is restaurants nearby, so that’s a good thing. The walls are dirty. The mattresses are hard blankets have stains. Even the queen bedroom is cheaper than a one bedroom very convincing to stay here but it’s very very dirty hotel. The AC has slime there’s mold in the pool. Not a good place for kids or any visitors at all the remote controls? Basically the batteries are always falling off. wouldn’t recommend using the microwave.

I was very nervous about staying at this hotel after reading the reviews however I was pleasantly surprised. Yes it is an old "motel", similar to others along this strip but the sheets were clean and so was the room. It does not have the luxuries of other hotels but the young men at the front desk were very accommodating in helping us with extra linens and troubleshooting thr TV. Good value for the price.

This place was filthy!! We knew it wasn’t great quality, but there was cockroaches everywhere. The hallways and elevators, filthy. Rooms, halfway cleaned. We found candy wrappers under the bed and dirt on the tables. Was woke up to neighbors fighting and smoking meth at 2 in the morning. Animals pooping in the grass and no one picking it up. The front desk guy though was a nice guy. If you can avoid this hotel, so it. Don’t waste your money!

This was the worst experience of my life. I decided to find a cheap place to rest up at for a couple hours after making a long 12 hour drive. I thought the website was too good to be true a four star place with a 2-3 star price and to my avail it was. The workers were lazy and clearly didn’t care about their jobs all the did was huddle around and congested the front door. When I walked up to the front door instead of letting me inside the just poked their head out to talk to me. The price for the room was 81 dollars; however when I asked if I could pay cash the insisted that I gave them $100. After getting my room key they had taken my debit Card to hold for “insurance”, which after checking out 4 hours later they forgot to give to me even after I prompt the question is there anything else I need? They are now withholding my credit card and are forcing me to drive 3 hours back to the hotel without a refund to grab my guard due to their employees laziness and negligence. I wish I could give you the name of the employee but non of them introduce themselves, or have any customer service skills at all. If any of them are reading this do note that I will not be paying for the room and I will be a thorn in your side.
