First time to dine in Atticus. Food is awesome but the queue is long. We went on a Sunday and took us 50-55min to be seated. Overall, it is a good discovery, will definitely recommend for breakfast or brunch. We ordered Vegan Chilaquiles, Vegan Scramble and Pancakes topped with Nutella and French Toast 😁

Wow. Don’t be fooled by the nearby shops and unassuming location. This is surely one of the best breakfast spots in town. The food is made with quality and love and you can taste it. Highly recommend!

Even though there’s empty tables available, it can’t be put together to accommodate a certain party size. It has to be exact. So there’s a waitlist since it only seats about 20-25 inside and two tables outside. They won’t seat you until the entire party is physically present. Customer service is a bit short and rude. The food is not that great. We wouldn’t go back. -Chilaquiles- green sauce with steak -Chilaquiles- red sauce with chicken -Dickens Benedict - choice of chorizo or ham - I got chorizo, over muffins topped with salsa. We came here because they are known for chilaquiles. I would say, stick to that menu item. The chips are house made and crispy. I can’t stand chilaquiles that have soggy chips. This place serves crispy chips. The chicken was super dry white meat. The steak was so much tastier. You get two eggs any style on top. There’s really no difference with the sauce. The green sauce was sour. The red sauce taste like, it’s the exact same green sauce with a few drops of red sriracha for a spicy kick. The Benedict was soggy because it’s drenched in salsa vice hollandaise. So I’m not used to soggy muffins. I should have picked ham instead of chorizo because it had its own flavors that didn’t go right when combined. I had asked for no cotija and it came out with cotija so they had to make another dish. (Looking at reviews of this same item, I don’t see their plate drenched in salsa). The nephew got the pancake combo which comes with two small pancakes (actually looked like regular size), 1 egg and bacon but we substituted it for sausage patty. We got chocolate chip vice plain pancakes. I didn’t try this but the mother was feeding the child and only ate the sausage. The eggs and most of the pancake left behind. The mother usually finishes the kids meal but she didn’t. Which tells me the food isn’t that great. The potatoes were wet like greasy. I should have asked for extra crispy. It’s as if it was cooked in the same oil as everything else. The kitchen is out in the open for everyone to see so you can see the chef making your food. It’s like a one man show doing everything. So probably cutting corners.

An absolute hidden gem. Everything was fantastic. This tiny little Cafe is completely hidden in plain sight. Don't Make my mistake and pass it for about 5 years without ever looking at it. At a quick glance they have a relatively simplistic menu, but everything on it is incredibly enticing and a lot more complicated than what you See you in just a quick look. From the dishes with creative names based off of famous authors, to their healthier options and even the kids menu. You kind of just don't know what to get because it all looks so good. On our first trip to this place My daughter got the Bukowski combo, which seems simple enough being just eggs bacon and potatoes. However she absolutely loved the way they prepare the potatoes, The crunchy bacon and the selection of wheat toast. I got the Hemingway brunch sandwich with ham, and a side of potatoes. It's scrambled eggs with cheese ham and what I tasted was mustard but The description says house sauce. Whatever it was it was delicious. It all came together so well on sourdough bread. I also thoroughly enjoyed how they prepare their potatoes. This is a tiny cafe with very limited seating so they ask for no parties larger than six. Despite being so small, their takeout game is immense. While we were dining I noticed several different patrons who came in, picked up orders, and left. I don't know if they have delivery options or If they work with DoorDash, GrubHub, or Uber eats but it's definitely worth the pickup If you can't get a seat. We will be working this restaurant into our rotation for weekend breakfast spots. I might even get one of their T-shirts as they sell merch in the back. I like the green one and their restaurant logo almost looks like something you can get tattooed on you. Though I don't think I'd go that far. This place is easily a 10 out of 10 for brunch spots.

My husband and I happened upon this place randomly and I'm SO GLAD we did! This restaurant is AMAZING! The chef has a gift - her food was 🔥! I got the scrumptious New Found French Toast with banana, walnuts, and whipped cream and a side of eggs and bacon. My husband got the delicious Durango Chilaquiles with steak (not pictured because he ate it so fast). We also both got a Cafe de Olla, which was perfect. Everything was chef's kiss - food, service, everything. We will definitely be back!

It has a very close knit atmosphere. We were attended as soon as we walked in. Our server was very attentive. I ordered the breakfast wet burrito and was very delicious. Cafe de olla was amazing! The place is very well maintained, very clean. I will definitely be coming back.

PROS: Waitress/Waiter great customer service. Clean environment. Delicious Food. Pricing is reasonable. Great coffee. Parking. CONS: It is a very small venue for dining. Was asked to leave due to people waiting to be seated. So eat fast, no time for conversations. I would go back. Overall, a decent establishment.

Everything was perfect! Eggs creamy and not over cooked or under cooked, veggies cooked through (not crunchy), potatoes seasoned just right and cooked perfectly (many places undercooked them or deep fry them), pancakes light and flavorful with those crispy edges, coffee piping hot and strong! Heavenly and honestly one of the best breakfasts I have ever had. A place that makes you feel at home, doe not feel greasy or frozen, just fresh and made with passion. A gem!

To say delicious it an understatement Very worth the wait - 20 minutes to be seated but… when seated they help you and are served fast

Food was pretty good. I wasnt the biggest fan of the pancakes but i am picky. Their accuracy on one of our orders was very off but we did not make a fuss it was still tasty. Pricing felt a little high but everything is that way these days. The service was great maybe a little slow because they were busy and definitely seemed a little shy. Over all i would go back but with a smaller group. Their max group size is 6 and we had 5.

The service was excellent and quick! All the servers were very friendly and offered their suggestions. That Cafe de Olla is dangerously delicious. The owner was busy cooking behind the counter but still took a minute to thank us for coming in :) Overall a great experience, Atticus Cafe provides a relaxing morning atmosphere paired with some very tasty breakfast dishes.

The food is great. We always stop here for breakfast. Nothing to complain about. The only thing is wait time and it is worth it. Def a hole in the wall little cafe.

Extremely friendly and welcoming staff! The owner and chef was actively cooking but took a moment to greet us personally. The food was amazing. We had the chilaquiles with chicken, wet burrito with chorizo, breakfast tacos with ham, and fruity pebble pancakes. Everything was prepared with perfection, came out quickly, and with a great presentation. I highly recommend this restaurant, you won’t regret it. support small business!!!

Food & service was 5 star for sure! To me, the coffee is a little bitter, but just my opinion, my husband liked it. Other then that the chiliquiles, Breakfast sandwich, and Pancakes were phenomenal. Definitely will be eating there again.
