The Ebel has an interesting history. Currently also home of Broadway on Tour children's theater. Great for kids of any age to learn and enjoy musical theater.

I love the character of this old theatre. The inside courtyard was nicely appointed. My wife and I went there to see a Shakespeare play after a lovely dinner in the courtyard. I would give it give stars except for the smell of cat which was present.

This place is a hidden gem! If you're looking for a wedding or event space with flexibility and historic characteristic, centrally located in Orange County, you need to see the Ebell Club in Santa Ana! Speaking from the point of view of a guest, it is fairly easy to get to and has lots of parking. The in-house catering company is Colette's Catering and they have really great food. The venue itself is really amazing with separate socializing areas including an open-air courtyard, some smaller private areas for relaxing, as well as a large hall for dining and dancing, PLUS they have an actual THEATER in the building that could probably be used in a variety of ways, but our friends used it to screen their favorite movies as a personal touch. I also noticed that Ampersand Production is their go-to Audio/Visual support team, and I have actually used them for my own events in the past and they are fantastic. All in all, the Ebell Club is such a great venue and has that classic California style of architectural archways, terra-cotta roof, and luxurious airy-feeling spaces. I hope to attend another wedding here!

Very lovely place for a wedding. The outdoor lawn is somewhat small and the grass is fake so it's a little tacky up close, but makes for very nice pictures. The smaller rooms around the central garden are rustic and great for photographs and the dining/dance hall was very spacious and well-crafted. Food was excellent. Great party!!

The performance we saw of the Broadway music was lovely and Ebell Club is beautiful. The only thing I would advise people of if they are elderly or have difficulty walking is the uneven pavement on the sidewalk and the stairs to get in, this can be hazardous for some.
