A good experience for children K-3, but not for older children. Our 11 year old became bored very quickly. If you are in education, be sure to bring your badge to receive complimentary admission (the regular adult admission is overpriced for a children's science center). We expected more things for the kids to do than what is there. It's good for a day trip, but not for the purchase of a season pass. We saw the Benita Bike Dance Company perform there today (2/26/22) as a part of the center's focus on dance this weekend. We were hoping for something that involved getting the kids interactive experience with dancing, but that was not the case. Instead, it was a mini dance recital. While the dancers did a great job, their performance was marred by the owner/artistic director/choreographer due to unnecessary apologies for different things related to their performance and by her condescending attitude and remarks to the audience. During one of the Q&A sessions between numbers, she called a helper forward and gave her a microphone to "deal" with part of the audience's questions. While she may be good with choreography, she needs to have someone else take care of serving as host/MC.

It's a great place to spend a few hours with your kiddos. My four loved it, and I wish I had my toddler in a stroller, but we enjoyed it none the less. The staff was great. We tend to go around lunchtime, so it's not crowded with any field trip classes. We bought a family membership, so we plan to go quite a lot.

Discovery cube is an amazing kids educational theme park. As you walk in the ambiance is very wide open space is feels very joyful filled with kids running all around. The cool thing about Discovery cube is that they have about 40 different sections that educate the children about the environment they also educate them about News broadcasting they have a model City . They also have a rock climbing place where the kids can climb up. Downstairs they can shop in the grocery store they can also sort through play recyclables. Upstairs was exciting as well they had tasks like making airplanes and shooting them through the air they also had this inertia powered race cars that you could shoot through their track it's so fun. Kids between the ages of four and 11 will enjoy this place. It's kind of out in the middle of nowhere off of the 210 freeway with the joy the children had was amazing.

My daughter and her friend had a blast here! Ages 11 and 8, it’s geared for the younger ages tho they still had fun :) It’s clean and new with great parking and location. The kids LOVE the playground next door as well. We went mid-week during home school and it was not crowded at all 😀

We had such a great time at discovery cube. It's pretty similar to the OC location which is also very nice. It was very busy with the large groups of kids, but once they left it was nice and quiet. Lots and lots of fun activities to do.

Cute place to take your kids ages 2 & up. It’s located right next to a park where you can take your kids after to let loose and release more energy. I took my daughter for their Halloween theme and it was very sweet. Upon entrance you’re greeted by their friendly staff. Their bathroom is spotless, and their gift shop was thought out. Lots of cute toys and experiments to buy and work on at home. There are cool rooms with educational videos about the earth, helicopters, and more. The upstairs seemed to grasp my daughters attention more. They have a section where you can build your airplane play along side other children. Very cute experience def a easy way to introduce museums to your kids.

Was stuffy - 2 hours is good time. The shopping area is a hit. Just wish carts weren’t so heavy.

When we first walked in I wasn't sure what to think since a lot of it looked broken. But then I saw there was a whole second floor and some hidden rooms! I don't get why people are saying their little kids were bored, my 2.5 year old spent over 3 hours here and didn't want to leave. Older kids I can see being not super impressed, but even for them there's some virtual reality things that are more geared to them.

It’s a fun place to visit with your child and can easily spend a couple of hours here. My daughter throughly loved it and also learnt about many different aspects. There are different interactive exhibits that kids enjoy. There is a gift shop and a cafe as well We went on a weekday and it was pretty much empty and quiet with less people.

Great indoors place for small children. My son is a big fan of trains, so he enjoyed playing with so many little trains. They have a good variety of thigns but no dinosaurs, I saw dinosaurs online and had promised my son dinosaurs. Anyways, the place is cute and clean. We got a membership to keep going back.

This place was a fantastic field trip! So much to do, see, and learn about science and our world. The kids had a blast with all the hands-on activities that were everywhere. Some highlights we the circuit board, the pulley system, the earth awareness videos, and recycling conveyor belt. Oh, and of course the hockey set up upstairs.

I took my great nephew here, thinking it would be awesome, but once we got inside it was BORING, EVERYTHING we played with was broken, or non-working and we were rushed through before they closed so I recommend they use some of those government funds and get up to date equipment. We went through three non-working tablets for the energy wise home display. So we were able to look at something’s because they didn’t work. NOT WORTH YOUR HARD EARNED STIMULUS CHECKS 🤣 Everything we get now is low grade, and, or poor grade because we are now living in a COVID WORLD. COVID food, service, everything!!!!

We always have a great time at the cube. We have the year pass, which is great. We can use that in selected museums throughout the county. It's also great because we can go to the cube LA or in the OC just a few hours on a weekend.

Cool place for kids! Everything is interactive and the museum features real life attractions that go into all kinds of everyday things kids will encounter like garbage processing, weather, engineering, home safety, water treatment, etc. A lot more than even just that, but it's too much to list. Very STEM oriented. There is also a cafe where you can buy food, though we did not try it. You can easily spend a couple hours here and when you leave, there is a giant playground next door.

A great place to take kids of all ages. Pricing is also fair for what you get. They have exhibits that come and go but the permanent activities here are plentiful and exciting. During the weekdays when schools are in session you'll come across lots of school groups on field trips. Ironically the weekends are less traffic heavy. The typical age groups are pretty young but the activities are often easier to participate in for older youth and/or adults like the upstairs hockey simulations. Make sure you stop by the helicopter tour simulation if you can get in, the house scavenger hunt on the first floor, and the very fun grocery shopping. Younger kids will need a lot of assistance for the scavenger hunt and grocery shopping, but definitely give them a try. The recycling sort on the way out of the grocery store is also a lot of fun. There are so many other interactive exhibits to enjoy on the first and second floors that give you hours of fun. This place earns every penny that you'll spend on tickets. They have a cafe if you get hungry and a fantastic gift shop with lots of interesting things to buy.

My kiddo loves this place and we strongly recommend getting the annual pass if you live nearby. They offer unlimited access and there are plenty of ideal times to visit throughout the year. They also have events and various activities. There is a playground at the park and pool just a parking lot over so lots to see and do. The Cube is always fun for those future scientists and engineers. Easily spend about 2 hours and do all of the fun activities before calling it a day.

We had a fun time, just got lost getting to it. We keep getting told it was in foothill, although the entrance was on Osborne st, you come in the park gate, and then go left. U'll see it at the end. The cube it self, was fun my son really liked it. A lot if interactive games to play, and explore.

If you live anywhere in the San Fernando Valley and have kiddos who are curious, buy a family membership to this wonderful science museum. The upper exhibit changes every quarter and your membership is good for this and the two other Discovery Cubes in Orange County. The best bang for your buck! When the building closes at 5:00 pm, head on over to the nearby park so the kiddos can burn off the last of their energy.

Honestly, I thought I would like this place more. I've visited the science center back were i'm from and in comparison this place doesn't really off much. The building is located in the park and the parking is right across the street from the building. Outside the building you may see people who are renting out rides on ponies for $10. I paid 18 to get in my daughter was free as she was under 3. I almost bought the ticket online but they charge an additional $4 online processing fee and a mandatory $1 donation, so it would have ended up being $23. had a Christmas set up outside with places to take pictures and some activities for the kids. Once inside they had a Santa for taking pictures for free. There are two levels. Even with 2 levels there wasn't many activities for kids to do. The majority was sitting watching videos and reading about the environment and the world thats cool. Just not what my 2 year old would be interested in. There is a cafe and a toy store. The best part for my 2 year was the fan that blew the fabric up and the Ninja turtles games. I wouldn't go back unless my kid was older and even then I don't think I would rush to get there.

Really great place to take a baby. Even though my 9 month old is too small to interact with most of the installation, he loved to see everything! We are thinking about getting a membership to be able to go frequently. It’s stroller friendly and has an area for babies to play in. Everyone was super nice. We went in December and got a chance to take photos with all of the winter displays. Definitely recommend taking your little ones! P.S. they sell very cute tiny terrariums

Overall, I found the place uninspiring. I grew up going to the museum of science and industry as well as the natural history museum in LA. Discovery Cube just seemed low-effort in general. My kids liked the tornado simulator and the rock wall. Everything else was of little interest to them (and me).

We came on a rainy day. Parking are all outside so bring an umbrella if its raining! We bought tickets indoors and it was quick! 1st level: it’s smaller than I’ve imagined but still very interactive. From what I’ve seen, everything there is touchable. all buttons and ropes etc are all playable. They do have iPads for kids to go through locations and check off. It’s definitely a learning experience for the kids. Upstairs: it was Thomas the train theme when we went! I believe it was the last day that time too. There’s hockey as well. The staffs upstairs are meant to allow 1 kid at a time where the “hockey rink” is at. Lots of trains and cars to play with upstairs! Highly recommend this spot to let the kids roam and burn off their energy. There is a gift shop at the entrance! Cafe is not far off as well. You can bring your own food too!

Clean, fun, decent food, great staff. We went for inside out exhibit and weren't disappointed. 4d was closed, some areas were too tight especially because people stop wherever they want without spatial awareness. Some kid body slammed my child into an exhibit because their parents weren't watching them or at least from a distance didn't care their kid /grandkid was in feral mode and hurting others. So beware of that, lack of parental supervision. We bought e-tickets, no wait, visited at opening, filled up fast and dies at nap time on Saturdays. Brought and bought food and went well, waited a min. For an open table. We loved the experience and compared with DC OC.

Very low key. One must visit Santa Ana Discovery Cube. It has a museum attached and various programs every month. The museum rotates their exhibitions often. Cheek their schedules. Love this place.( Santa Ana Discovery Cube)

Lots of fun and interesting things. The only site I saw was getting worn down was the hockey goal simulation. Definitely needs a bit of a face-lift. But the car build test track and magnetic wall maze build were great options. Perfect 2 hour getaway with a playground right next door to continue the fun

First time here. Just took my 2 and 1 yr old and they adored it. Tons of activities of various levels and topics. Really friendly staff and pretty clean. They were constantly going around disinfecting everything after use. Safe place for kids to learn and play and interesting for adults too. Had a blast and look forward to going back.

My almost 4-year-old son had a blast here. It’s a fun place to visit with your child, and you can easily spend a few hours here. Everything is interactive, and the museum features real-life attractions that go into all kinds of everyday things kids will encounter, like garbage processing, weather, engineering, home safety, water treatment, etc. Very STEM-oriented. There is also a cafe where you can buy food. Free unlimited parking. There is also a fun playground right outside the museum if your child still has some energy after visiting the museum. We drove here from Santa Monica, and it took us about 30 minutes to get here on a Saturday.

Review is for birthday party package. Not worth the money. We are members and my son loves coming to this place, (only reason for the stars) so we decided to celebrate his birthday here. We were rushed and forced out of the place towards the end of the party. Cleaning crew came out with a big trash bin while guests were still present... Pretty rude!!! We had the deluxe package with a party host who had an attitude, didn't smile, and had no energy for a kids party... like she just had to come to work and forced to do her job. Great place for kids to enjoy, but not a birthday. Don't book a party here.

Nice and fun place too visit. Kids always have a great time and kept them busy with several activities. I would advise purchasing the family membership if you have kids. It will enable you to visit all other locations.

I'm thrilled to share my wonderful experience at the Discovery Cube! Taking my toddler there turned out to be a fantastic decision. We had a day filled with exciting scientific exploration that sparked numerous engaging discussions. The interactive exhibits and hands-on activities provided an ideal environment for my child to learn and have fun simultaneously. The staff's enthusiasm and knowledge further enhanced our visit, making it both educational and entertaining. I highly recommend the Discovery Cube to any parent looking to inspire curiosity and foster a love for learning in their child. It's truly a remarkable place that offers a memorable and enriching experience for families.

Amazing experience!!!! My son is 11 and the hockey exhibits for being a goalie and trying to score on a life size protected goal that records speed, the interactive home scavenger hunt and speed racing track where you mix and match different car bodies and wheels to effects of aerodynamics are just a few of the options that engaged my son's attention and encouraged him to not just enjoy himself but also to learn about the world around him and how to live a healthy productive and environmentally friendly life by more than just telling him but by showing him how he can make a difference everyday. We will definitely be visiting again and I would recommend this to every parent. They have exhibits and activities for all ages and even as an adult I enjoyed the exhibits and learned from them.

Had a great time here with my family. We came here because we saw it on blippi. They had a hockey exhibit and the Thomas the train exhibit when we came. There was even stuff for my older child to do as well. Easy on the wallet to for admittance and we were there almost all day. So many learning things to do.

I found this place just googling places for kids and I couldn't be more excited. I have a toddler and a school age child. They both enjoy coming here as often as I can bring them. They have unlimited free entrance for teachers, also babies under 2 enter free. Each aspect of the current displays are related to science, which is enjoyable by kids as well as adults. I like the build-your-own cars with the tracks, the little kids section in front of the cafeteria area and the train table. My toddler spent a good hour playing with the trains on our first visit. Bring your own snacks if you want, they have tables and chairs available inside and outside. However, you can also buy them there.

Educational, fun and interesting for children. My 6 years old spent more than 3 hours because there’s so much to discover about environmental, math, science, social-emotional, physical. Parking is free.

This place is not worth it unless you just want to get your child tired by running around. No one is around to guide you, ask if you need help or even to welcome you. Everything is so dirty, especially the restrooms. There is poop on toilet seats, no toilet seat covers, no paper towels to dry hands with and when I told an employee about it she said she was aware but nothing was resolved. I was in and out of there within an hour.
