I was in town due to an early-morning funeral and needed a place to stay the night before. Pacific Palms was very close to the funeral location, so it worked perfectly for my purposes. The room was lovely--very spacious and nicely furnished, but the real winner was the view over the golf course. It was really idyllic and so peaceful, I almost wished I had reason to stay another night. The peaceful feeling was especially welcome before the funeral, too. If I'm ever in the area again, I'll definitely plan to stay at Pacific Palms.

I am not one to leave reviews but I saw way to many reviews saying similar things in regards to their stay and I experienced the same. I wish I would have read them before booking my stay. The hotel is very outdated, the rooms are poorly maintained with tons of decaying. No housekeeping. Refrigerators in the rooms do not work. The Blow dryer was very old and almost dangerous to use as it would spark flame when turned on. The toilets would also not flush right away, it took minutes to flush away (close to 10 min of that). The water from the shower would also take minutes to drain. They must have some plumbing issues. Poor quality and worn out/old bathroom towels. Paint scheme/decor over 40 years old. . This place is NOT a resort or high end hotel and definitely not worth the price. Avoid this place.

While prices are reasonable, this hotel has definitely seen better days. The rooms are quite old and not the cleanest. Service is so so. Not that it’s rude, just feels understaffed. I would barely qualify this as a 3 star hotel. Pool and jacuzzi are down as of this comment. A plus is that parking is free.

It all started with large long black hairs all over rooms and all over pillows. Glasses at restaurant have soap stains. If you eat outside there are meat wasps that will ruin your food. My dog stepped on glass I called super upset for Neosporin. The front desk didn’t even let me finish telling them the issue before routing me to a number that rang and rang. Ran out of towels and toilet paper twice in one week. No room service on anything. Spilled on my sheets so I took them outside came back 12 hours later and they took the sheets and cups but didn’t replace them. This place might be cool to drive a couple of balls but the hotel staff is super rude and not even close to hospitable. They literally shoes me away and while my dog was bleeding they accused me of stealing a gold club because I left it behind. They made me feel unwelcome and I’ve had extremely better service at a comfort inn. Terribly over price and the rooms are outdated.

I stayed here for a wedding event. The rooms are pricey but run down. They really need to update the rooms to match the pricing. There was peeling paint, mold and the shower leaked. We booked through a wedding event and people were not allowed to change rooms without the grooms' permission. The groom was not paying for our rooms so I think that is a ridiculous rule to allow.

No guidance to our rooms and check in took a very long time. I’m very sensitive to dust that the air recycle in the room worked not that well, but you cannot complain since the hotel might be at a longer age. If you want a five star hotel, you should find somewhere else. But if you want to play golf, here is a good one. By the way, window is so dusty, maybe they should clean them on time.

Other then Google maps sending me to the maintenance building then a horse stable area before I gave up and was leaving I saw the entrance on another main road. The directions were awful then not much better once I parked and struggled to find the elevators to rooms. But once up there it was nice. The worker I asked for help was extremely nice and helpful. The room was nice. The view was amazing. The elevators were slow and didn't fit many people.

I am giving this 5-star review for an employee who greeted us at check-in which was late into the evening. His name was Marvin J. and immediately made us feel welcomed. This is an employee that should be a model for all employees. He was very personable and genuine. He took interest in a bit our travels and shared some of his own experiences too. Thank you Marvin!

Wow!!! Pleasantly surprised how nice this place is still maintained after all these years. It was formerly the Sheraton 30 years ago. Still a nice hotel. Great views from our 5th Floor room facing North. The bar and dining room was also nice.

I recently stayed at your hotel and would like to provide some feedback. Firstly, I noticed that there seemed to be more available rooms, but I was placed on the first floor. Although this is not the worst thing, the outdoor air conditioning unit on the first floor was very loud and affected my sleep quality. Additionally, there were some issues within the room, such as a lot of static electricity, which also caused inconvenience to my stay. Furthermore, I would like to mention that the following day I requested my room to be cleaned, but the front desk only made a verbal promise and did not promptly resolve the issue. I believe this was unprofessional and left me feeling disappointed. I hope your hotel will consider improving these issues to enhance customer satisfaction. Thank you very much for your attention to my feedback.

If you love golfing this is the place for you. Was the only place with available rooms mother's day weekend. I'm sure if we were into golfing it would have been great. Didn't think the food was worth the price and you have to book the presidential suite about a month in advance but the rooms were decent. No microwaves which was a first for any hotel or motel we have stayed. Still the views at night were beautiful.

Visited to attend event in ballroom on this occasion. Spectacular dinners, I had salmon, wife had chicken. Got drinks at RED Bar down the hall to avoid ballroom bar line. Great music, great friends great fun.

Great location and great rooms. Next time we will request inside the courtyard because outside rooms facing freeway was noisy all night. Doors did not insulate very well.

Didn't stay at the hotel but have done about a dozen rounds of golf in the past few years. It's one of the best courses (two 18 holes) in the LA area, one course (The Babe) is tight and hidden, the other (The Ike) is open and tough to manage. Both are fun and challenging for all levels of play. I'm a 9 handicap.

Room was amazing, top notch service, beautiful views! Pool wasn’t open as of 07/24/2023 - so make sure to check if that is a dealbreaker for you!

I would give no stars this place not only messed up big time on my wedding day but on occasion I’d visit this place when golfing and thought it was upscale and it’s the complete opposite. Wallpaper falling apart at the Red restaurant and bar eating area, rooms are old and outdated with loud noise coming from ac vents, staff was unprofessional when checking in and out the. Only if your white or Chinese they won’t ask for and Id for luggage carrier, they tried asking us twice for our id to use one to carry my wedding gown to my room, but when an average white person came in same time they didn’t even question him like he was the one spend money of the property to get married. salon was okay the lady’s are nice and professional. restaurant reservations was the worst they got nothing correct when asking if I can arrange placement settings a certain way staffers decided to do things their way instead of just listening to me the customer who paid more than 1000$ of food and drinks that night/tipped them very nice.I wish my husband didn’t. 🙄not to mention my daughter drop a piece of jewelry from my wedding night and for sure it was left in my room. Never heard back from them so it’s for sure they stole it. Shady house keepers. Just run lady’s if your looking for something elegant this is not it. Not close. It’s just ghetto and below basic.

It's one of my favorite spots to bring guests for dinner or a stay. Excellent spot to golf, hang out at the bar, and have a nice meal overlooking a gorgeous view of the city below. It's just magical ✨️.

Great place to work on your game. Plenty of stalls, greens and chipping areas. The views from the restaurant are fantastic the food is good too. The courses "Ike" and Babe are top tier. Some of the best around imo. Great place to test your skill 👌

Went here for my cousin's 60th birthday dinner celebration. The set up was cute and the overall hotel inside and outside is beautiful.

The rooms and furniture were older , could use some updates. There was not hot water for my stay which was very uncomfortable. The hotel offered me a 25% discount but then called my phone back to back 5 times because they made a mistake with the refunds on their end. Probably will not return

I attended an event at the resort on 9/30, did not stay over night. I'm glad I didn't book a room, THE POOL IS UNDER CONSTRUCTION. I didn't see any disclosure about the pool closure on the resort's booking site. This was a big disappointment and should be disclosed to patrons before they choose to book a room.

Rooms are old and are falling apart. Felt more like a cheap motel with a view. We stayed here in January and tried to take a shower at midnight and the water never got warm. When I called the front desk, they asked me to wait 15 minutes with the water running for it to warm up. We waited an hour to no avail. They moved us to a different room on a different floor but still, water never even reached lukewarm temperature. I was shivering at 2am taking a shower - just miserable. Never again.

Beautiful location, but sub standard rooms, no fridge, no microwave, no drinking water, no curtains on windows, does not blackbout completely in the night, crammy wash room, faucet controls in shower and sink are from 1980s, you end up getting a guilt for wasting too much water in California. Location of property is very nice, but, too much money mindedness, everything is premium priced for very average service.

Gorgeous hotel. Our room was spotless, comfortable and stylish. Great view of the San Gabriel mountains and the resort course below. The Eisenhower golf course was challenging and well maintained. Also had dinner and breakfast in the hotel from a menu that offered many options. The food was very good.

Horrible service by savannah, Not attentive at all. Her appearance was poor, (wrinkled clothing)not wearing mask showing face piercings, for a Highly rated restaurant like this I'd expect better. Took over 20 minutes to take food order. Her demeanor definitely showed lack of interest to wait on my table. But Food was great. Nice atmosphere. I do recommend this awesome place but steer from rude welcomings.

This comment is long over due, back in Dec 2019 before all the caos started I reserved 2 nights for my wedding day, as soon as I got there I was greet by the awesome front desk ladies, that only if I could I would give them a raise! They asked me what was the reason of my visit and they helped me by getting a much bigger room . They made me feel like a queen and made my wedding so much special,. My husband and I still go to the red restaurant by the fire, it's so romantic! Thank you so much!

Extremely beautiful spot to enjoy a nice dinner with your wife, girlfriend or fiance. The view was beautiful and the food was amazing not to mentionthe drinks. The staff were extremely friendly, and polite. What a great experience it was to visit and will be visiting again most definitely. Thank you all for a wonderful experience Pacific Palms Resort 🌴.

Great view, awsome banquet staff. Not so hospitality friendly front desk team. Outdated room +1. The AC is not working in the room, at first I thought nit was because of the wall of windows and the energy saving mode. A few hours later the room was still at 78F in a summer day, but was too tired to call and change room at 4am. Report the issue in the morning, tech came. At check out the front desk staff unwilling to work on a friendly compensation. After taking to the manager and finally got $50 discount.

I'd put 0 stars if I'm being honest. The biggest problem is that I have been charged twice for my stay and they won't refund me. Half the time I call, they can't even find my reservation and that was the original problem. When I went to check in, they couldn't find my reservation that I had made online. I was in a rush so I just asked them to get me in a room. They did and I gave them my card. Night one, all good. Then the next day our room keys just stopped working so we went to the front desk and said my card was working. It was super strange, but I said ok, he's another card. They said that wouldn't go through either which I knew had to be wrong so I told them to please try it again and then of course it went through. The next day I get home and oh look, I've been charged twice. I reach out to Trip.com who I made the initial reservation under and they tell me they understand the issue and will reach out to the hotel to get my refund. A week goes by and the hotel will not respond to Trip.com. It's been two weeks now and radio silence from the hotel. I just want a refund for the extra charge and I don't know why I'm getting so much pushback. I have the original confirmation and everything. I have proof so I don't know what the issue is.

Today is 2nd day of staying at the hotel. There is club music starting at 8pm that you can hear it so loud inside the room with all door closed. I called front desk and being told there is a booked event going on tonight from 8pm to 11pm. According to front desk, there is nothing they can do since it is a booked event. Also according to front desk, there is no point to switch rooms since both sides of building you can hear the event loud and clear. Now it is 11:45pm, the music is still going on so the front desk lied. There is no way anyone can hear each other inside the room with outside music on so loud. On top of that, there is also people cheering and yelling. Last night there was a wedding and there was loud partying noise and yelling around midnight. If you don’t want to rest at all, you can make mistake as I did. Don’t don’t don’t book this hotel.

Room was not worth the price. Very disappointing and not inviting. I came to the resort for a business meeting. Staff and restaurant was great. View was great but room had hair on bathroom walls. Pillows and bed were not comfortable and the iron and ironing board were in poor condition. I should of taken pictures to show the room. Not worth the price. I believe the golf course keeps this place in business.

We had a nice view of the city , especially at night. Beautiful. Our stay was excellent. Room was clean and had a nice balcony to view the city. We're coming back for sure.

Stunning for the view from the room (6th floor, with 3-story’s lobby and conference’s center). Lobby is clean and nice. Two golf courses are interesting (Elk and Babe) and related challenging. Elk is wider and Babe is narrower. Booked package for Hotel+Golf is available in the options with some deals. Red Restaurant and Bar is nice and chill right next to the golf pro-shop that has a pool view and pool-table to play complementary. Indoors and outdoors both are welcoming. Parking spaces are open for visitors and guests. Overall the infrastructure is great but hotel management needs to improve for staying in experience. A great location for convenience and has a nice view.

Very disappointed in this place. All this place has going for them is it’s pretty. They didn’t have room cleaning each day which you don’t find out till you are in your room, they have a sign on the bed. They can’t even bring you fresh towels each day. There was no microwave even motel 6 has that. Ran out of toilet paper was only there for two days and was only in the room to sleep. All hotels at least provide extra roll somewhere. When I opened the bed I found some hair on the covers. Pillow case had a stain. Don’t recommend.

Unspeakably beautiful grounds and view from our room. Beautiful room! Gorgeous pool area, and outside dining. Very nicely dressed (3 piece suits) staff. Beautiful resort overall!! And if you are only concerned about aesthetics, you will be perfectly satisfied here. That being said...one of the escalators was "down" as was the elevator from the main floor to the lower floor that goes to the pool. This was not mentioned OR addressed well by several staff when I asked about an alternate way down. I am not unable to walk but it's not easy for me and how would they have handled a wheelchair? The pool area has a "hot" tub but it was really only very warm and the jets were not operational. The pool bartender/DJ was a nice touch! But he left at 7 instead of 9 when the pool was supposed to close. Most disappointing was the bed. It was beautiful, the pillows were clouds, and if you are the type of person who prefers to sleep on the floor you are going to be fine, I am not. That was the hardest bed I've ever encountered in a hotel, not to mention I expected more from a "resort". I absolutely would have stayed another night, even though they wanted to charge me $50 more for the weekend price, but not on a bed I can't sleep on. The staff was more than polite and accommodating overall. The place seems like a fantastic venue for a bridal shower, prom, party or convention! I just hope they do something about the beds for people who want to stay overnight.

Been to this location several times for the CAIFPA conference. It’s very spacious, beautiful, has nice bathrooms, and plenty of parking! The food was pretty good. Steak was very flavorful and rice complimented it. The desserts of fruit tarts, lemon squares, and macarons were so good!! I always just love how big their chandeliers are and how beautiful it makes the room.

We played golf here and have lunch also. There are 2 golf courses here. We played the Eisenhower Course. Course maintenance is good. Challenging but for a mid handicap (20+) this course is not so difficult because of the wide fairways. Although there are some blinds hole your have to handle. We have lunch at RED Restaurants. This is indoor dining. But there are outdoor seats and table and we choose to stay out. Service is very very good. Food is just average.

For a couples retreat, we went to this resort that was in Los Angeles. Very nice golf package via GolfMoose. Interior lobby was very clean remodeled, room was very clean and spacious, enjoyed the more challenging IKE course with so much bunkers protecting the hole, good breakfast and very friendly staff service, definitely look forward to returning and play the other golf "BABE" golf course.

My friends and I acquired this acquired this room as a gift. Due to special dietary restrictions having the use of a microwave would been ideal. Nevertheless The hardship of not having a microwave a microwave imposed a problem. I understand the reasoning being behind not having a microwave but a microwave is essential to recognize there are those..... who need the use of a microwave and traveling with a microwave in the trunk is a hardship.

This place is one of the few hotels we float back to. The views are always incredible, the service and staff are nice, and the value is there. The rooms are clean and taken care of. The presentation of the hotel overall is one we appreciate. Another perk is the amount of local cuisine to try. We go out and try anything from fine dining to holes in the walls. Great place to stay if you are looking for a nice getaway.

Remember to use Hᴏᴛᴇʟʙᴏʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏᴍ when booking your room. This website will compare hundreds of booking websites and normally will have rooms much cheaper compared to others! Thank me later! This resort is one of the highest rated in the area. I've been coming here for years. If you stay for a few days you won't regret it. The place is beautiful. Signage for the golf course were not very clear. It's on the opposite side of the building from the parking lot. It's confusing because you walk through the patio dining area.
