Stayed for 2 nights and it was amazing for my 7 and 4 year old. Check in was supposed to be at 4:30pm but they let us in at 1pm. My family had a blast it was fun for the kids and for the adults as well, with the bigger water rides. We all enjoy our stayed. The room was nice, spacious and very clean. The room had a mini fridge and a microwave so you can take your own snacks. They have an arcade and mini bowling area and you can either buy food in there or go out to eat with the family. You pay for parking once and then u can come and go as u pleased. They have different sections for kids like smaller rides for younger kids, baby section and thrilling rides for the bigger kids and adults, among other sections they also have a pool outside. They provide the vest for the kids and you can rent the towels as long as you return them other wise you get charged extra per towel. Inside the water park there is a bar and a fast food place so if you get hungry you can eat or enjoy an alcoholic beverage. Also they have lockers you can rent to put your stuff away or you can leave them in a chair as long as is nothing valuable. There is a 100 dollar deposit that you have to pay when you check in, but they return it withing 5 to 7 business days when they do the checked out. After checkout you can put your stuff away in the car and still enjoy the water park the last day. So for us it was 3 days enjoying the water park. Overall very pleasant experience can't wait till we go again.

The water park itself is always a pleasure to attend due to its warm temperature and great variety of activities for the little ones. We had a one night stay for three adults and two kids and the family suite accommodated us comfortably. The arcade and scavenger hunt game also kept the little ones entertained for most of the day and night but it can be exhausting traveling the whole hotel to finish, lady at the desk said it takes 6-8 hours to finish. This is my third year in a row visiting Great Wolf Lodge and my poor review this year is due to the service. When something is promised by staff I expect it to be something that anyone else on duty will honor, however this was not the case and it caused an extreme inconvenience to my family and I when attempting to leave.

From start to finish, the experience with Great Wolf Lodge in Anaheim was not only easy, but fun as well. The website was very user friendly and scheduling was very easy. On arrival, you can either go to the valet parking, or use the parking garage for self parking. Grab your parking ticket and get it validated in at the front desk. There were 5 front desk clerks and were very quick with how many people were in line to check in. While we waited, the kids went to the windows that showed the waterpark and the excitement ensued. We got to our room and it was nice, however there was a musty smell that was probably from the constant use by individuals coming in wet from the water park. It was not overwhelming and did not effect the experience. The magi quest game for the kids was really fun, but make sure you were good shoes. The waterpark was clean, had seats available and the waits were a couple minutes at best. The water was saltwater, and will shock you if you are not ready for that. Check out was really easy and was done on our phone without much effort. Overall a great experience. Would recommend.

This was a great place to take our daughter for her birthday. It was a lot of fun, very kid friendly (without being patronizing to the adults in our party), and safe. The kids had a great time in the water park and really enjoyed playing the Magiquest wand game. The food was very good and, to my surprise, relatively reasonably priced. Our room was a great size and comfortably fit 2 adults and 4 kids. The beds were comfy. The room was clean and well maintained. The only reason this is 4 star review and not 5 stars is up charges. For example, we bought the Paw Pass for the kids in our group. As part of this pass they get a wand and wand topper, but they do not get a choice of wand or topper. To get a different wand it's a $5 add on. To get a different topper it's at least a $9 add on. As fun as this place, it seems like there are these up charges everywhere. We would definitely come back for another stay!

The staff was super friendly and accommodating from initial check-in to check out. They offer a schedule with various activities for the kids that happened throughout the day near the lobby. The water park was awesome with different areas that appealed to different age groups. I like that they measure young ones and place a colored wristband depending on the height, and this let workers know what slides they were able to use. No need to bring towels or floties, they provide those at the pool. Definitely will come back again.

My family had a WONDERFUL visit to Great Wolf Lodge in Garden Grove! The water park was a BLAST and it was easy to stay the entire day without getting bored. My children could not get enough of all of the slides, wave pool, and boggie board ride. There was one employee that made our day EXTRA SPECIAL. Our children were shopping for present in the gift shop area and GRISELDA was so kind and helpful to them. She made them feel special! Griselda took the around the store and showed them the different things they could buy based on what they liked. Thank you Griselda for being so kind and going out of your way to make my kids day!

Had such an amazing time here with my family. My daughter loved playing in the water all day! The hotel was really clean. The stores were really organized. The pizza was delicious. The water in the pools was nice and warm. The drinks at the bar were good. All the staff members were super nice. You can also enjoy a nice warm coffee with a donut at there Dunkin’ Donut shop. You also need to try the glow in the dark golf it was so much fun. Overall it was a great experience we’ve been coming here for 3 years and hopefully more to come. Thanks great wolf lodge for the amazing memories!!!

A local fun vacation spot for families with young kids. They have a really fun indoor water park and the rooms are comfortable. We recently celebrated our kid's 7th birthday there and rented the joint "den" with my brother's family. Our kids are all between the ages of 6-7. They enjoyed everything on the wolf pass and were entertained all weekend. We're planning to go back again with friends on another weekend. The staff is super helpful and accommodates your needs immediately. Great vacation spot for families, I think a 3 day stay is a good amount of time.

What an awesome vacation!!!! I took my grandkids and their parents for a two night stay. We all had the BEST time!! There are so many activities to do other than the water park, that we couldn’t do everything in one stay. Every single staff member we spoke to was very helpful and friendly and gave us tips on finding cool things around the property. The kids are 3 and 6 and only went on the smaller water slides, so there is plenty of “room to grow” for them to enjoy the water park for years to come. We will definitely come back again and again!!

It was my first at this location. They were very accommodating to our needs. I would only improve on the quality of food at the snake bar in the water park. Every other option was good. There was something for everyone. Every staff person was kind and attentive. You can get a day pass at this location. You can also stay at the 💧 park until closing after you have checked out of your room. We will definitely be returning.

I was a little worried after reading the bad reviews left here but after staying I have to say this place was great. I found no issues with cleanliness, staff or park wait times. We didn't partake in any additional activities or dining offered by the resort so I can't speak to food quality or pricing. The park offered enough enjoyment for us over a 2 night, 3 day stay to not have to worry about anything else. We dined outside of the resort for breakfast and dinner as the park hours allowed for this not to interfere with our stay. The staff was friendly and helpful whenever we needed something which for us wasn't more than an extra coffee cup for the room. The rooms were comfortable, clean and everything worked.

This was the second time we stayed at the Great Wolf Lounge and both times it has been absolutely amazing. It is a great place for the family specially if you have young children. My daughter absolutely loves this place. This is what she wanted instead of presents on her birthday. I would highly recommend this place if you want to get away from the everyday life. It is filled with lots of activities for kids and adults can have some relaxing time too. Definitely coming back soon

If you're considering staying, let me just start off by saying... do it. Click reserve and book that room! This has been one of the absolute best mini vacations we have had. Everything you could possibly need is here. We definitely recommend getting the wolf pass for your kids. Preparing for the breakfast buffet. I wish I knew the name of the lifeguard, but there was a young guy who was absolutely exceptional. He may have had a lion tattoo. Anyways, he had always gone above and beyond our whole trip, and I wish I would have let the hotel staff know how awesome he was. The staff who did the kids' activities in the main open area need a little training on how to interact with kids better. That was the only negative. With the exception of the yoga people in the morning, they did great. Overall amazing experience, and absolutely can't wait to go back.

I went with my family this past weekend, and we only stood 1 night. I dont know what it was with this place, but my family and i returned home extremely sick. Im not sure if it was all the chlorine inhaled because this place had a super strong smell as soon as you opened the door to the water park. The smell was super strong. I have a 1 year old, and as soon as we went down to the water park and returned to our room, she started having nausea and vomiting. Right after my 3 year began as well. They both had vomit and diarrhea that whole afternoon and night. They must of caught some sort of bug virus or something. Now, right as soon as we returned home, my oldest 10 year old and i started having extreme vomit and diarrhea all afternoon and night as well. I have no idea what it was with this place. The park itself seemed nice and all, but i was upset and didn't have a great time since we all came back home sick. If you plan on going here, take precautions and be aware of what you can return to. It felt awful being sick let alone seeing your little ones sick only because we wanted to have a good time. The smell of chlorine was definitely a big factor as we noticed the smell was extremely strong compared to many other water parks. I think they need to have better cleaning services provideded to this park maybe people wont return home sick if they cleaned this park better.

I didn't stay overnight but got a day pass with my daughter to visit relatives that were staying there. Pros The food was decent and I thought prices were fair compared to other venues. There were plenty of things to do for and with children. The staff was friendly and attentive. Cons I ordered an outdoor Cabana which was not ready. I won't complain too much because I did get it the day of, but it was dirty with leaves and a diaper on the floor. I'd think someone would have checked before allowing us in. Someone did show up within 15min to clean it up when i called in about it. The bigger issue I had was finding an extra charge on my account that was manually entered on the day after I was there. When I called in, it was for a reserved seating package I never ordered. The person on the phone was friendly and escalated it for me. She said the front desk may have accidentally left it on my account when I inquired about it. Overview It's a fun getaway and I would consider another visit. I understand mistakes happen and so far they have corrected anything I've brought to their attention and hoping the same for the unauthorized charge. It would have been a 5* rating without the dirty cabana and extra charge. I would consider a 4* experience pending on how quickly the unauthorized charge is removed.

The service at great wolf lodge is top notch. I came for a business conference. I did not visit the water park. I will be definitely bringing my kids here for some fun and the water park. The facility is just beautiful. Everyone was having a great time. And could not say enough about the fun they had. I can’t wait to hit the water next time I’m here.

This place is packed with fun activities for young kids! Very family friendly, good service, lots of food choices, reasonable prices. Lots of families enjoying birthdays, with adorable small cakes to share. We sat at the bar, served by Nick, a very personable guy. Had a great time watching families having fun!

I had a good experience at the great wolf lodge. The services are great and the staff members are very nice. The room are spacious with almost all you need, the microwave are in the room in the hallways. The food at the loose moose is very good, I like the buffet style for breakfast and dinner. The water park is indoor and has fun slides for all ages, lazy river, wave pool, and body board section pool(only for 2 hrs). My only request would be to have a Dreyer available because my swimsuits didn't dry completely and although I am going to get wet I d like to wear it dry the next day. Everything was great I ll recommend it

The place is over all clean and pleasant. The activities nightly for the kids are terrific. The rooms were quiet, despite being filled with children so sleeping was easy. The beds and pillows are not that comfy however. The food options are decent and extra fun besides the water park is a bonus. The water park is decent and well staffed with lots of options for all sizes. The wave pool was very fun to play around in! Just don't forget to take a debit/credit card to rent a locker!!!

We stayed here for 4 nights and we felt it was a solidly run place. Clean, and the staff were friendly. Keep in mind this is a 24/7 Chuck E. Cheese with water slides. Keeping it running is a monumental task. Pro tip: avoid the water park if you can until 6pm when the people with day passes are gone. During the day it’s pure insanity.

I could have not care about the room because it’s your typical cabin feel, and I like things clean and spacious. It is a nice place to get the little ones acquainted with water play. Water is heated to Luke warm. My 5 years old thoroughly enjoyed her time here. My 2 years old, was scared of the water fountain spray. We enjoyed the lazy river and wave pool. The kids area was amazing as well. They sell food and drinks on site. The bathroom was clean, and they even have a rinse off area. Day parking if you don’t rent a room is 35$, quite hefty.

Rooms are nice and clean. Hotel smells good. My family had an awesome time there. It’s extremely kid friendly. The only reason why I took off a star, because for that price that we paid, there should be a microwave in each room! It’s such a hassle to walk out back and forth of the room just to use their microwave especially when you’re traveling with little ones. Oh, checking in can be long if busy. We got there on a Sunday and we waited over an hour in line just to get checked in.

Beware of the parking charges at this property, as an unexpected $29 per night fee awaits you (as of November 2023). If your parking ticket isn't validated, be prepared to pay $32 each time you leave. Unfortunately, this information wasn't communicated to me, resulting in an unexpected doubling of our parking expenses. Regarding room specifics, the Wolf Den's adult bed is a tad small, and neither the bed nor the sofa provides a 4-star quality sleep experience. On the upside, the property is family-friendly, boasting a variety of activities for kids such as an arcade and mini golf. Additionally, the on-site restaurants offer satisfying buffet options for both breakfast and dinner.

We came here for our daughters 10th birthday. I was shocked how dirty this place was and the rooms were disappointing, like a cheap Motel 6 (even smelled old and almost moldy). We paid $450 extra for an indoor cabana for one day which was a waste. The service was awful. We would have gotten everything faster if we had just waited in line. Food was pretty good though and the server was very nice, just INCREDIBLY SLOW! For such a steep price I expected more. Pool area was filthy and had to be shut down twice because of FECES in the tide pool.....so gross! Also, the place was so crowded and chaotic that it gave us anxiety. Just imagine a completely unorganized poorly maintained Day Care........with THOUSANDS of kids and not enough supervision. The hotel did take it's "quiet hours" seriously and I was surprised how easy it was to sleep, not noisy and chaotic so that was a nice surprise. Location was convenient to Disney but I would spend a little more for a cleaner pool, better service, and less chaos.

We were blown away by the convenience of everything. One night's stay equals two days of a full-blown water park. Parking and the cost are in line with what you'd expect at a hotel/resort/amusement park. It's on-site, convenient and accessible. It leads right into the lobby which is great. The rooms are good. They're spacious and could easily fit a family of four on double beds and a pull out sofa bed. The water park is just awesome. We saw kids as young as 2 years old thru adults enjoying the various slides and attractions. You can enjoy a wave pool, a lazy river and an outdoor pool/splash pad that will keep you cool in the So Cal sun. And as mentioned, you stay one night, and you get two full days of usage from the water park. For our family of three, it was the equivalent of about $330.00 in entrance fees to a place like Knott's Berry Farm's Soak City Water Park. Other attractions on-site are for the younger kids. But there is a 'mini bowling alley' and an arcade. Also, they feature various characters that roam around and take pictures with the kids. The food on-site is perhaps the only negative we experienced. I'm still giving the place 5 stars because I'm realistic. We know the level of food is when you go to places like this. So please don't expect a five-star experience. It's pizza and hot dogs. The service, employees throughout were wonderful during our stay. Even when they made a minor mistake, they fixed it immediately for us. And if you're planning on using this hotel as just a stop for Disneyland or any of the other amusement parks/ attractions in Anaheim, it's a great location.

We love coming here as a family. Everyone can really do their own thing. Love how safe it is. No long lines. Great pricing. A lot to do. Even just sitting outside to smoke a cigarette at night you can watch the Disneyland firework show they have every night. So cool.

My kids love this indoor water park. The staff were friendly. The bellhops were amazingly friendly and caring about our luggage. It was an amazing time and experience there. My kids loved it and definitely returning. Would definitely recommend as a family getaway vacation.

Great fun! While the water park is clearly the main focus, there is also quite a nice arcade among other activities. The room is good, however the bed was below my expectations. Bring a pillow if you plan on staying overnight.

Title: A Fantastic Experience at Great Wolf Lodge - Perfect for Family Fun! I recently had the pleasure of visiting Great Wolf Lodge with my family, and it was an absolute delight! From the moment we arrived, we knew we were in for a memorable experience. Our time at Great Wolf Lodge was filled with laughter, excitement, and endless water park adventures. The water park was the highlight of our stay. With its thrilling slides, wave pool, lazy river, and interactive play areas, there was something for everyone in the family to enjoy. The park offered a perfect balance of exhilarating rides for the older kids and gentle, splash-filled areas for the little ones. The lifeguards were attentive, ensuring a safe and secure environment throughout our visit. The overall atmosphere at Great Wolf Lodge was nothing short of magical. The friendly and enthusiastic staff made us feel welcome from the moment we stepped foot inside. They were always ready to assist and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was exceptional. The accommodations were comfortable and well-appointed. Our family suite was spacious, clean, and equipped with all the necessary amenities. The themed decor added an extra touch of charm, creating a whimsical and enchanting ambiance. Beyond the water park, Great Wolf Lodge offered a wide range of activities to keep the entire family entertained. From the arcade and mini-golf to the interactive games and storytime sessions, there was never a dull moment. The kids were thrilled to participate in the evening's engaging and entertaining events. The dining options at Great Wolf Lodge were also impressive. The variety of restaurants and snack bars catered to different tastes and preferences. We indulged in delicious meals and mouthwatering treats that left our taste buds craving for more. What truly sets Great Wolf Lodge apart is the sense of community and family-friendly environment. The smiles on the faces of children and adults alike were evidence of the joy and happiness experienced throughout the resort. It's a place where families can create lasting memories and bond over shared adventures. In conclusion, my family and I had an absolutely wonderful time at Great Wolf Lodge. The water park, the accommodations, the activities, and the exceptional staff all contributed to an unforgettable experience. We left with hearts full of joy and memories that will be cherished for a lifetime. We cannot wait to return to Great Wolf Lodge for our next family adventure!

Lots of fun for the kiddos of all ages including the adults kids. Splash pads and small slides for the toddlers (my little guy loved it). My 10 and 6 yo boys loved the big bucket and bigger slides. Rooms were clean (we sprung for the wolf den which the 3 boys shared, they loved sleeping all together in the bunk beds that they have on there and our pack and play fit in there as well for the toddler). We had the buffet for dinner which was pretty decent. Again something for everyone (pasta bar, ribs, pork, brisket, chicken nuggets, fried, Mac n cheese, and all you can eat desserts as well). Everything tasted great and our service was amazing. My only complaint would be that this place has too many people. Lines for the bigger slides were pretty long, but I suppose that's expected. The whole family still had a blast. A great get away when in the winter when outside water play is limited. Took a star off for the location... Living in Ventura I'm not a fan of driving to LA. We lucked out though and hit no traffic on driving there and back.

Check in process was fairly quick and easy. We had a really great time and the staff was really great. Every staff member we came in counter with was really all about if we were satisfied and if something was wrong they went above and beyond to make sure they made things right. I was surprised by how clean the bathrooms in the water park were. Our room was clean and nice. The bed wasn’t comfortable for me but it wasn’t that big of a deal. The kids loved the trick or treating they offered and they offer a lot of fun events that are free. The arcade was a little pricey but there are other things to do besides that. The lady who worked in build a bear was way above and beyond I wish I knew her name. Overall the trip was great the kids had fun and that’s what mattered. The two things I would change was the comfort level of the bed and the parking structure. When we came in we didn’t have a parking ticket because the gates were wide open, but I paid for the parking with my check in process. When I left I couldn’t get out through the gate because they didn’t give me a blue ticketing so I had to flag 3 cars behind me to back up and let me back up then I had to get all 3 kids out the car and go back to guest services and wait in the line just to get a parking pass to exit. It was kind of tedious and annoying. Overall the kids loved it though. We did have issue with a bowling game but the lady came and gave us a free game of bowling because the one we were using was having technical difficulties. We would definitely take another trip if we find a good deal on Groupon. I almost forgot the water at the water park is salt water. It was extremely chlorinated and my eyes were just burning. It was actually worse once you got out and it was so bad at one point I could barley open my eyes. I had to buy eye drops to try and help. It was overwhelming for me, but didn’t seem to bother my kids much.

I went over Labor Day weekend, which there was tons of people and that was expected, I do recommend coming during the weekday so you can have a better overall experience as the lines were long for just about everything, the rides, Dunkin’ Donuts, the line to get drinks and food. The hotel was pretty clean and I’m a family of 5 so we were comfortable for the most part. I had a basic suit which my kids loved as they had their own little space and bunk beds. The give out free wolf ears so that was awesome. The down side they do not have microwaves in the rooms, you have to walk down where the vending and ice machines are to use the microwave. I do like how you can bring your own food and drinks to the hotel but not in the actual park. It’s already expensive enough I feel like the park should be open to the option of guest bringing their own food if they wish. Overall a good experience and there’s so much to do as I wished I could of done it all, I definitely can see myself coming back.

This is an amazing place for a 2-3 night stay with kids ages 4-10. I wish a place like this existed when I was a kid! We didn't have to leave the resort (except to find breakfast and dinner options that wouldn't break the bank!) There are high energy group activities for the kids from 8am to 9p every day, an interactive magic wand scavenger hunt, indoor golf, mini bowling, ice cream parlor.... So much! It's crowded on the weekend. All staff are geared towards kids having the best experience. Felt very safe in the water with the number of lifeguards and safety measures they have in place. We will return. Kids that are 42 inches can get on almost all the water slides.

We stayed in room 751 - it was nice , counters weren't cleaned so I cleaned them but everything else looked fine. We stayed 3 nights. It's a very long walk to the elevators, so if you have bad knees or anything I'd ask for a room closer to the elevators. The overall room was comfortable for our stay. The water park was very fun, we enjoyed ourselves. We did not try the restaurant because the lines were so long so we just walked to restaurants near us and really enjoyed our meals! I'd suggest pressure washing the front entryway and sidewalks around the front as it would look much better. But I'd come back.

Your opinion of Great Wolf Lodge will depend on your expectation going in so I will do my best to simply talk about what they are, pros and cons rather than just talk about my experience there. To start, they are more than a water park. If I were rating them just as a water park, I would rate them on the lower side. However, as a water park, there are two definite pros. One is that the slides are indoors so you can probably go year round and also not worry about standing in the sun. The other is that lines seem to be not very long. Not sure if it's the day that I went but I believe it had to do with there being more than water rides available or maybe the price for a pass. Now in terms of the Great Wolf experience outside the water park, I can't say to much as I did not spend much time on those things. However, I will say that there seems to be a significant amount of activities posts the water park, whether it's worth it or not is another question. My opinion was that it did look pretty fun and if my son had spent any amount of time on those things, he would hand enjoyed himself. I didn't stay overnight so I can't comment on the hotel experience. I also did not eat at the park so I can't comment on quality of food. I would say expect it to be on the pricier side and somewhat close to school cafeteria quality. Cost of admission is about $100. To me that's on the high side but again, it depends on how you view the park. I was really only there for the slides and I feel you get more for less at places like Raging Waters or Soak City. Although there are other things to do there, I'm not sure it really justifies the price. Still, I don't feel it's a waste of money either. If you go once, I think it's a decent experience for the price but it depends on your budget and what you can afford. If the $100 per ticket is something you feel is a special expense, I would advise considering other attractions around Southern California. Last but not least - I said I wouldn't go to much into my personal experience but there is one thing I do want to mention just for full disclosure. When I was there someone dropped a deuce in the one of the showers. Now I recognize that it's not the staff's fault. Accidents happen, but still, it was pretty disgusting. I don't know how long it took the staff to cleanup either but I didn't go back to check on it later as we were on our way out. If anything, use this to understand who you are sharing the park with and adjust your expectations accordingly.
