Easily our favorite Downtown Disney dining, and maybe our favorite overall Disney Dining experience (over Blue Bayou possibly). Reservations are a must, or you will wait forever. Try to ask for seating indoors where the piano and band is, if you want a loud/fun time. Weather permitting, the outdoor/patio dining is fun for people watching, and is more intimate as well. Wait staff is wonderful, and the food is to die for. Never had a bad meal here, and the atmosphere is fun. You owe it to yourself to use the restrooms, just to admire the paintings. Same with the elevator.

Always wanted to try this when at Disneyland and decided last night would be the night! The wait wasn't too bad for a Friday night (30 mins). Their drink selection is solid and the waiters were super helpful and attentive. For food we ordered the Gumbo and shrimp spring rolls. Super good although the gumbo could have used something else to give it depth. Still great though. The shrimp spring rolls were amazing. We also ordered the jambalaya pasta which was good. Probably will try something different next time but I'd get it if you haven't tried it before. Overall great spot and left us satisfied.

My friend and I absolutely loved it here!!! Okay forst the scenery is so cute and you really feel like you are in New Orleans! There is a fountain when you first walk in and if you look closely you can see instruments! Then walk into the other room with the bar and there is a bedazzled piano! The piano player was amazing too and had a great New Orleans style voice! Customer Service was top notch as we didn’t have a reservation but we could sit at the bar. Michelle and Sean waited on us and they were superb! Really great! Very Disney-like which is a big compliment! Drinks were amazing! (You only need one if you know what I mean!) I had the Cat-5 Hurricane and my friend had the Mint Julep. For food we split the French bread which was typical French Bread and the Pasta Jambalaya which was AMAZING! I’m craving it again right now! Overall, great place to dine, so glad we went, and can’t wait to go back when we are in the area again!

Nice place located in downtown Disney in Anaheim, California. It has a southern menu, and it reminded me a lot of Louisiana. It's a good teaser in comparison to the real deal. The place was recently remodeled, and it's inviting. There was no elevator in this restaurant, so we left our stroller downstairs, but this is something to think about when someone is in a wheelchair. Your choice would be to dine in the 1st floor outside patio. Our server, Jessie, was great! He is very attentive and comical. He has a way with people, that's for sure. We ordered NOLA shrimp BBQ with grits, pasta jambalaya, penne pasta, and meatballs for the kiddo, crispy Calamari, so good. Blackened chicken, mac and cheese, and chocolate bread pudding. They are well balanced, well seasoned, and all tastes very good. I would have given this place 5 starts if I've never been to NOLA.

Jazz Kitchen catered for the State of Louisiana Rose Parade staff, volunteers, and dignitaries. All their staff were so nice, happy, and provided quality service. The food were very tasty as well. I didn't realize they were in Downtown Disney, now I know and will surely visit and recommend to folks. Thank you for your service.

Shrimp and grits were flavorful and seasoned just right. Not spicy but does have kick. There were about 8 shrimp in the dish, more than your average 6 but it’s an over $30 dish. Pricey but good. Make sure you still them how to cook the burger, even if it’s for your kids. Kids meal burger was not well done, rather medium. Service was amazing. We waited for our table, was told 30 minutes but it was ready in 15!

We love Cajun food and never miss an opportunity to try something new. The food was delicious. The Poutine was so good I almost forgot to get a picture. The shrimp and grits were creamy and nicely spiced. The braised beef was so tender and paired so well with the Chow-chow and grits. We will definitely be back next time we are in Downtown Disney. Our server Danielle was very personable and had great recommendations. She definitely made the visit extra special.

Wow, overall my favorite place to eat at Downtown Disney. We had an amazing waiter that I unfortunately can’t spell his last name. I need to give our waiter a shout out. Such a great and personable guy. Brandon Schulter I think. He was always there to refill and take us to the next course of meal. He recommended the crawfish spring rolls and bbq shrimp with grits, which I have no regrets ordering. I was blown away by the flavor and uniqueness of the 2 plates. The pictures don’t really do justice for how delicious the food was. If you haven’t been hear, you need to try.

For a restaurant in Downtown Disney it's was very reasonable! Our dinner was only $68.00 and we couldn't finish our meal. We had the fried chicken BLT and it was amazing! Our server was Danielle and she was top notch and so personable! There was a tall man that was seating people, I think, I don't know what his job was but, he's the only experience that just didn't fit in. We started off with the seasoned Tater Tots appetizer and it came with 2 different styles of sauce used for dipping, oooo' was it the best I've ever had. I had to ask for more to take home! I must enjoy hot peppers with all my meals and when I asked for some, they came sliced and fresh, no cans! That's makes it a number 1 for me, it's the little things. Remember to take your parking pass with you and have it validated because the 2 hour grace of free parking at the park is over since COVID. It's $10.00 for 4 hours, so don't leave it in the car! Stop over by Sprinkles or Marceline's for a sweet desert, and, yes, the Jazz Kitchen does have amazing donuts but, I tell you, it'll be a filling meal, you'll have to carry your stomach out! Thank you, Jazz Kitchen.

Jazz Kitchen is certainly delicious. My wife and I have eaten there a few times for dinner and to us, it is certainly worth the cost. Portion sizes are good, nice ambiance and always have had great service. We enjoyed it so much, we actually had our Wedding Ceremony and Reception here back in 2018. The process and planning was very smooth and everyone enjoyed the delicious food, floral arrangement and just the atmosphere, having the top floor to ourselves. Open bar, variety of dishes for our guests to select from, provided a plethora of floral and color setting for us to select from and various table layouts and design. Thanks Jazz Kitchen for a beautiful day and for the continued great food and great service.

Good portion and okay sandwiches. The pulled pork was on the dry side. The cold slaw was tasty. Fries could bit a more crispier but it wasn’t bad. There’s room for improvement. Staff was friendly.

Updated: Our server was a joy for our very large group. The food consistency is about the same except my brother had a dish he couldn't finish because the spice overpowered everything else. The atmosphere felt a little different. Overall the remodel and new ownership feels like a little bit of a downgrade. Old: Love this place. We eat here every visit to Disney. The food is always good and the Beniets😋

Came for my son's 9th birthday. It was a good time. Good food, good music and a nice atmosphere. We only waited about 30 minutes for a table. Surprisingly, the best thing was the burger my husband had! Like it was an amazing burger.

During our stay in Anaheim, my wife and I had the pleasure of dining twice at The Jazz Kitchen in Downtown Disney. This restaurant truly stands out with its authentic Creole cuisine. The jambalaya, savored during our dinner visit, was a flavorful journey to the heart of New Orleans. For lunch, the gumbo was equally impressive, offering a perfect blend of spices and comfort.A highlight of our visits was the service we received from Ben S. His attentive and personable style added a special touch to our dining experience, making us feel genuinely cared for. Ben's knowledge of the menu and his recommendations were spot on, enhancing our meals significantly. The newly renovated space of The Jazz Kitchen deserves a mention too. The updated decor beautifully complements the vibrant atmosphere, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. This renovation has added a fresh, modern twist while preserving the soulful essence of the restaurant.Overall, our experiences at The Jazz Kitchen were delightful. The combination of delicious Creole cuisine, impeccable service, and the inviting ambiance of the renovated restaurant makes it a must-visit for anyone in Downtown Disney. We highly recommend it and look forward to returning on our next visit to Anaheim.

If I could rate higher, I would. The food was off the hook, our waitress, what can I say, our entire table adored her (Ashley). My filet was done perfectly, my husband loved his jambalaya, and one of our party had her plate done completely custom. The blueberry dessert, OMG!!! The bread pudding, OMG!! YOU JUST CAN'T GO WRONG HERE! Enjoy!

Great food and plenty of seating even during their renovations. We did eat here via a reservation on Valentines Day. The main floor closed off, but they have plenty of seating in the upper levels. Inddor and outdoor. They have a shortened paper menu, but still plenty of delicacies and variety to choose from. Highly recommend the Chicken Baked Mac n Cheese! It was so so good. And ask for bread and butter, you'll thank me later. The Jambalaya was good, but a bit spicy, couldn't finish it. If you parked in Downtown Disney, the parking is validated.

Highly recommend this place. We sat at the bar and piano was being played. Our bartender made our day so special, celebrated our wedding anniversary. The drinks are very beautiful and tasty but be careful on how much you drink. The chocolate cake is a must get, do share with your loved one. Thank you so much 💓

This was our 3rd visit! We absolutely love their shrimp and grits (best we have ever had), fried chicken and beignets (photo is missing one because my son ate one already). Always great service and excellent atmosphere. Thanks so much!

Great place for a bite if you're looking for southern inspired dishes. Definitely looks different than the last time we were here but the food is just as good! We got a cheeseburger for the little one, some gumbo, shrimp and grits, and another shrimp dish. Service was great and will definitely come back

First time I’ve been back since the renovations! This was my go to every single time I came to Disney. The blackened chicken mac and cheese and bread pudding were spectacular!… I’m sad to say, they unfortunately do not have the same thing 😔 they do have some delicious new dishes like the chile honey salmon, and they added a nice lemon dessert! I thought they brought back the cobbler, but unfortunately they did not, at least not when I came. The chicken mac and cheese is now a very sad, less flavorful, and dry chicken version of the previous dish. I included pictures of the old and new version. I did explain to the waitress that I didn’t like the new version, I didn’t want to get another dish or have the remake it or anything, but moreso relay that the old one was infinitely better. In the end, she gave me a 10% discount. Not necessary, but very appreciated! I don’t know if I’ll be back, that dish was the only thing I get, sad to see that it’s probably gone.

Amazing experience thanks to Sam! Was able to get a table and he provided exceptional service and made the rainy day experience a great one! Gave great recommendations and i tried most if not all and didnt regret it a bit! My only critique i would say would be the gumbo tasted a little burnt. Seems like the roux was over cooked but not to the point of being inedible. Seems like they burned the flour before they stopped the browning process but it was still good. Oh and the beignets were good also but a little heavy. more donut consistency than light, airy, and pillow like. They need to let them rise more before cutting and cooking so they can get the air pockets. Overall good restaurant and Def will visit again!

The highlight of our visit was our server Ashley, she was funny, helpful and was even kind enough to show my mother to the balcony so she could view the fireworks! We came on Saturday night and were able to walk up and get a table. The remodeled upstairs area was really beautiful. The balcony is PERFECT for viewing the fireworks in Disneyland. The food came promptly and was delicious.

On our most recent trip to Downtown Disney we had to stop by Jazz Kitchen to enjoy the remodel. Service as always was excellent. The balcony seating was wonderful. It was a little hot but we enjoyed gazing down at the crowds. The lobster Po-boy was beautifully delicious. My Reef & Beef lacked some flavor. Grits could use more flavor. The Honey Grilled Salmon was good. Will definitely be back for the Lobster Po-boy & BBQ Shrimp & Grits.

The food, the service, the portions? All 5/5. Excellent. However the only downside is the remodel from the original Jazz Kitchen design to this... strip mall style? The charm is gone. Only reason I gave it a 3/5 is because thankfully there's still live music happening. It's definitely an amazing atmosphere still, but you don't feel like you're in a creole spot.

The blackened chicken "mac and cheese" (its a penne pasta) was one of the best things I've ever eaten. We also tried the jumbo (entree vers, a little too salty), blackened salmon (it was good), and jambalaya (it was good). The bread pudding was a little too chocolate-y for our taste, but the overall food quality here is fantastic. Service is very accommodating. We came walk-in around 4, but reservations might be better for later dinners.

Fantastic. The food is to die for. I loves the atmosphere. The staff is fun and interesting and knowledgeable. The glazed beignet cocktail was a sweet way to start my meal. The Louisiana craw fish spring rolls are an exciting and exotic flavor combination I did not know I wanted. The poh' boy is incredible. Crunchy and just crazy delicious The beignets are a decadent way to end your meal. Make sure you get the banana Foster's version.

Honestly, I wasn't a real fan of the remodel, but I'm happy to say their food is still good. They've made a few changes to the menu, but it's still amazing. The person who took my to go order was super nice and helpful. I ordered: 1. Grilled open faced lobster BLT po boy - You can taste all the different flavors and how they just go together. Oh, so well. 2. Lobster & crawfish remoulade roll - This was light and refreshing. 3. NOLA BBQ Gulf Shrimp & Grits - The shrimp was plump and flavorful. I've never really tried grits before, but it was creamy and paired well with the shrimp. 4. Grilled Medallions of Filet - So tender and juicy. The vegetables it came with were just as good. I'm not big on veggies, but these were cooked just right and had perfect seasoning. 5. Hot Classic Beignets - You can't leave without having beignets. We usually do the raspberry dipping sauce or eat it plain lol. Guaranteed to make a mess
