I
hate
going
to
the
doctor's
office
or
hospital;
it
is
almost
never
an
enjoyable
experience
and
I
have
left
many
appointments
feeling
unheard,
uncared
for
and
largely
disrespected.
This
was
not
the
case
with
my
emergency
room
visit
to
Providence
Mission
Hospital.
I've
been
to
the
ER
before.
I
prepared
myself
to
be
in
the
waiting
room
for
3-4
hours
and
then
another
1-2
hours
of
sitting
in
a
hospital
bed,
praying
for
appropriate
care.
I
do
my
best
to
avoid
the
ER,
but
I
knew
I
needed
to
go
for
this
specific
situation.
The
PA
Jessica
and
her
nurse
(I
am
so
sorry
I
did
not
get
your
name,
I
was
hoping
it
was
on
the
discharge
papers)
were
gentle,
caring,
understanding
and
helpful.
An
ER
is
a
hectic
environment
and
not
one
that
is
easy
to
manage
with
patience,
but
these
folks
made
it
look
easy.
I
was
seen
quickly,
listened
to,
given
appropriate
care
and
ultimately
left
feeling
as
though
I
had
received
more
than
I
could
have
expected.
I
learned
that
the
ER
is
handling
patients
in
different
groups
based
on
the
ailment/necessary
treatment
and
trying
to
work
in
a
more
efficient
manner.
I
felt
this
was
readily
seen
in
my
situation
and
appears
to
be
effective.
Thank
you
Providence;
I
know
you
cannot
make
everyone
happy
and
satisfied,
but
you
did
help
me.
