The wait time is ridiculous! Approximately 2hrs, at least! Only to be seen for max 10minutes! I’m sure they are charging medical and other insurances full one hour sessions. It’s wrong. (Review is for OB, next door building). Please see below. You check in, then get called in maybe within 20mins (nurse inside does work fast and efficiently. Takes vitals and occasionally withdrawals blood), then get sent back out to the lobby. You will approximately wait for an HOUR (at least or more) then get put in the doctor’s office (Dr. Barbosa), only to wait in there for another 30mins. When she finally decides to come in, she’ll maybe see you for 5mins! Unless you ask her any questions then you’ll prolong your time a little. But over all she does not educate you or give you any information regarding your pregnancy (which is something we really need, specially as first time moms). I wasn’t even informed that she will not be my delivery Doctor until I wanted to confirm one day. Smh. Horrible service on the doctors behalf. My appointment today was at 10:30am, it is now 12:07pm and they haven’t put me in the doctors office yet to be seen by the doctor. Once I do get put in there, I’ll have to wait for another 30min before she comes in to see me. It is ridiculous! Parking is HORRIBLE too. And it’s like this every single time! The lobby is always full of people waiting. I just don’t get why they have us waiting for so long went they only see us for max 10-15min (unless you have and ultrasound, add another 15min). I wish I would have changed clinics sooner. I’m getting further along in my pregnancy and jst don’t have the patience for this type of treatment anymore. They don’t even take that into account. Smh. I’m so frustrated, mad and disappointed. I feel powerless.

This must be the worst, most unorganized clinic in Paramount. Every time I bring my new born son with my wife we wait about 2-3 hours with an appointment. The staff seems very lazy and gossip for most of the time and the doctor takes FOREVER to attend to you. I cant wait til we switch our sons doctor to someplace more attentive, organized, and clean.

I’ve been coming here with Dr Tran for years he was my pediatric doctor. He’s a great doctor but my negative review it’s to the office. Wait times are ridiculous. I came Friday and it looked like they had full staff but there was no seats so I said I would return Saturday and it’s worse! I’ve been sitting here for 2 hours! I think it’s time to find a new doctor this will be my last visit. Update: I was there for 4 hours and had a 5min consult. PPO patients don’t waste your time here!

Horrible. This place should be closed. Not professional, front staff not trained, every-time I come here it’s something. Oh, “ we can’t do this cause you just got of your period” so why ask me my last menstrual cycle and still book me an appointment ” Poorly ran clinic and needs a serious reinvention of staff . Why are their cockroaches in the room? Why when I exit the bathroom two staff just talking about my business casually in open halls ! This isn’t a time to gossip, literally violates the HIPPA PRIVACY RULE. Don’t waste your time see someone else. Don’t bring your kids here, hell no. The name is embrassing for all Latinos , PARA LATINOS “ ugh no don’t use that name… with such horrible services your staff gives with little to no care and instead of being nice and solving issues your staff want to talk back, be smart mouth, and be rude . 0 stars for me and I’m the easiest person on the planet to make happy lol

This place is at least 4 hours of waiting time to see the Dr. Private Insured clients get priority over Medical patients. If a Privat insured client comes in, then the medical patient gets kicked down in the waiting time. I have been taking all of my kids to this place since they were little. They are all now teens/adults, and Dr. Perez (back then was their Doctor) when Zapanta came along, I started taking them to her. I will give 5 stars to the Doctors and 3 stars for the front staff, because they can do better in customer service. Often times, they don't have the patients or people skills for this kind of clientele, I get it can be overwhelming, (Possible solutions, more front help, hire more) The ladies in the back can only do so much with the demand of clients. I don't know why is the waiting so long. I think they need more Doctors for so many people. My complain and the rate is about the waiting time. The Medical Center should provide more Medical Providers and for such clientele in order to be more successful and keep clients. Otherwise, they will always have people leaving and getting upset. I decided to stay because of the Doctor. But eventually now that they are older, I will start looking for another place. Grateful for the Medical providers and some of the great staff they have. However, people on top of all of them are not doing a good job by overloading ,their staff and show no care for their clientele. if we want to be one of the first ones to be seen we have to come at least two hours before they open (usually 8:00 a.m.) then we wait another 2 hours to be seen by the doctors, Dr. get there by 9:00 a.m or later 10:00-10:30 am. approx . Now if you get there after is open, then minimum is 4 hours of waiting. so what is the point of going early? it is the same waiting time, in my opinion. Appointments are only for Private insurance patients. Medical patients can do appointments for physicals and the rest walk-ins.

This review is for the Women's clinic for pregnancy right across from this location in the the same parking lot. This was the very first clinic covered by my insurance that I attended for my first couple of ultrasounds during my pregnancy. This place is very outdated and I paid extra for the 3D ultrasounds out of pocket for a quick session. I came in for many blood work and was disappointed on how many times my veins were busted because of the poor knowledge of how to do a simple procedure by staff. Luckily I transferred to Kaiser facility and the request of forms for a transfer was a nightmare from this place. I had to pay extra for copies and it took long to transfer my information. I won't ever attend this clinic for care and please try to avoid this place. The only good thing was this picture frame I found humoring and wish I could of taken it with me home.

I had the worst experience ever..went for a physical I didn't get checked at all..I had so many questions I been feeling unhealthy that person that they made me believe was a doctor was a nurse practition she didn't care anything i was telling her she just send me to lab and basically shut me up im not going to lie i was in tears walking out of there..Im on my way to the ER right now thanks to them ..I will report this to the Medical Bord

This is the worst doctors office I’ve ever experienced. Horrible place! I can’t believe this place is still open. I endured this place for a couple years but I finally changed my primary care. This is the place you go to when you have no other options.

Although they do take long between patience. It is a walk in clinic. The staff is wonderful and friendly. They have different providers as well as over the phone consultations. Not many clinics have walk in appt everyday. They are good and they do their best to accommodate their walk-ins as well as their appointments for the day.

Had an app at 10:30 am at 1pm they told many of us that the dr was going to lunch and that we could come back same day after 3pm

So I had gotten some test done about three weeks ago I was told by my doctor to be persistent and keep calling for my results, as she understood my work conflict . although I did and I called EVERY HOUR and every day I NEVER got my results (I also left voicemails) . I came in today on Saturday the main person( a lady) there was rude and her demeanor was off. She stated she was in charge. I have every right to be upset on why I can’t get a hold of someone to get it, and how long it has taken to get my results. . I will be filing. A complaint with the medical board after todays visit. The unprofessionalism is unreal. Oh and if you get in a accident you are not able to bring your kids to their pediatrician, to ensure your kids are okay, As I was told by the lady at the front desk.

Dr. Barbosa is the worse OB, very dismissive and is not allowed to be the delivering doctor at the hospital due to her being banned from Long Beach Memorial for having patients files in her car ( one of the labor nurses informed me of this and described her as “being weird”).
