Lord Huron was great. The sound was good, but this show was over sold. In general admission there was hardly any room to move. Standing in one position for 2 1/2 hours made the show miserable. If there had been an emergency, there would be no way to exit safely. In to 30 minutes to even walk to the front door. I will see Lord Huron again, but will not do another GA show at HOB. Pay the extra for VIP and you’ll likely have a better time.

Fantastic entertainment experience at the House of Blues Anaheim on November 16, 2022 for The Rose concert. After I purchased my GA ticket from Ticketmaster, I send an email inquiry for the VIP Seat Upgrade through the HOB (to be a Foundation Room member for the day and be assigned a seat in their balcony). The LiveNation VIP Manager for the HOB, Brittany Funk was exceptional and professional. She promptly answered my VIP upgrade request and advised I would be contacted closer to the show date if a seat was available. Three days before the concert, I was notified a VIP seat was available and I could upgrade (just $85). It was so so so worth it. All those who upgraded didn't have to stand in the long GA line (for this group, there were fans waiting since 5am!). There was signage for the VIP upgrade next to the Foundation Room door and we were assigned a seat. I was assigned seat 120 which had a great view of the stage and artist. A server also came through and asked if we wanted to order food and drinks. I had my lemon drop martini at the Foundation Room bar and the bartender Shayne was nice and made a tasty drink. Overall I give this experience a 10+ and will definitely come back to this House of Blues for another fun experience! Thank you Brittany and team for the VIP treatment!

Great venue and staff! Easy to get in. Large restroom with lots of stalls. Beer was ice cold and food came out hot. Prices were standard $16/beer. Pizza was $9/pep slice. Standing room is spacious, VIP is upstairs. Views are great all around. A ton of bars to get a drink from throughout. Highly recommend. Parking is also just $3 if you pay ahead at the house of blues. This venue is just a lot smaller than the one that was located previously on downtown Disney. But there isn't anything it is lacking in my opinion.

Great live music venue and restaurant in the Anaheim garden walk area. Security and staff are all very friendly and professional and sound is very well balanced between being loud and too loud. Spacious areas, multiple bars, and an outdoor smoking section as well. Definitely worth checking out a show if you're in town.

This visit was a concert held in The Parish Room. Very small and intimate which is great for getting close to the stage. Music can be extremely loud depending on band. Suggest ear plugs. Improvement opp: people lean on entire bar so bartender access is limited. Maybe rope off area for queue to form. Also look out for overcharging of drink. Different bartenders charge different prices for the SAME drink! Overall great venue.

Great venue! Sound was quality, drinks and food was reasonably priced. Love the patio outside so I can dip out and smoke, but still enjoy the my drinks and the music. I may be a bit biased, as I love smaller venues. But yea, definitely need to see who else is performing there so I can go back.

Guys, the House of Blues Anaheim did not disappoint. This venue was pretty great. The sound was top notch, luckily the crowd was mostly a bunch of like minded individuals. The place was very clean upon arrival. Staffed appropriately, they were all so nice for event staff! I don’t remember their names, but the ladies running the ticket office at the door were so sweet to me. They were very accommodating to helping me get rid of my two extra tickets to other Finch fans for free. They worked the night of 5/25 in the evening for the Finch: What It Is To Burn 20 Year your. Give them praise and a high five for being awesome, making it a great experience for me and the people who scored my extra tickets!

Came for a show and figured we would eat. They were not taking anymore walk ins but you were unable to make reservations through the app. where you're supposed to make reservations. We managed to find enough room to sit at one of the bars since we were given that option. The food was about fast food quality. One of our party ordered a chicken pasta dish and there were a maximum of 2 pieces of chicken in the bowl when it arrived. After voicing his concerns they brought out more for him almost at the end of our meals and agreed to discount the meal. Stick to the finger foods and sandwiches if you're in a rush for a show. Make sure you really don't need to spend the money for the front of the line pass. We were encouraged to do so and it was actually not necessary at all. . . The band was amazing otherwise I most likely will eat prior to showing up for shows at this venue in the future.

I ordered shrimp and grits, and it was so delicious and flavorful I really enjoyed it. My husband tried the new york strip it was well served with plenty of mashed potatoes, and the Brussel sprouts were well seasoned the steak; however, It was a little tough and was lacking seasoning. Servers were very attentive, and the beer was ice cold. I will definitely would like to come back and order the grits again!

The food is AMAZING. For a Wednesday night dinner, we got the bbq nachos, shrimp and grits, and a small southern salad. I’m a foodie and every dish was superb. We finished everything while we dined at the bar. Plus the interior is very well-decorated. There was live music — a female songstress-guitarist playing softly on stage. And the service was quick and on point! To summarize: “fancy dining with a chill atmosphere”. Highly recommend!

The HOB in Anaheim is a great place to see a concert. Located in a stunning outdoor mall in Anaheim it is worth the drive if you are not nearby. We drive from LA to get there and it is always worth it. The HOB has an excellent eatery and there are many other places to dine in the out door mall before the show. Try to get there on time. The sound system is just wonderful and the place is small enough to be able to see from where ever you are. They have a great line up of bands. The staff is really nice an will help you with whatever you might need. The prices are so very reasonable for the great bands they have. These are the bands that you will later see at some huge venue and pay an absurd price to see them. If you hear a new band see them at the HOB before they blow up the charts more than once. It is just a great place.

Not the best venue for sound, but the location is convenient, servers are friendly, and the food/drink is reasonably priced. And kid friendly. Lots of parents bring their kids. My 2nd time here. My first was for Fitz and the Tantrums which was great! 2nd time with Bad Religion which was awesome! Also, try the liquid death. But only if you’re brave. ;) HOB validates parking so I only paid $3

The House of Blues Anaheim is a great venue located near downtown Disney. Amazing large open floor, with 3 bars located throughout it the venue (one by the entrance, 2 on either side of the floor). This venue has never disappointed me. They always have their sound on point, no matter what act is playing. I’ve been coming to this venue for 14-15 years, and have seen many acts. If you like open floor venues, give it a go. There’s a nice VIP area on the second floor, though it’s rather expensive, but enjoyable.

Got VIP main floor seat upgrades and the view was incredible. We were here for periphery. Table service was great, event staff was at every entrance of the seating area to ensure the proper guests were there. Food was pretty good as far as venue food goes. Drinks were also decent and fairly priced for a show. Pic is view from vip floor seats.

They have different tiers of vip seating for the concerts we went to. It was completely worth it ; we sat in the theatre style seats all 4 nights. 3 of the nights we sat in seats 320/321, which were the seats closest to the stage, so you do miss a little bit of the action on the back right of the stage. While you are seated during the concert, you have a server to place drink and food orders. Due to being vip, you get access to the foundation room (the first two pictures) where you can have drinks and some food. Jen was the BEST server there, and we made sure we were in her section each night because we loved her energy/happiness. The best food in the foundation room was the steak skewers.

On of the nicest venues I’ve visited. The location is great, the options for food and what not are plentiful. The actual venue has very helpful staff and the drinks are reasonably priced considering the area! Great place to watch shows!

Really good concert venue and place to go. Listen and watch different shows. There are a lot of things to do in the area as well, parking can do a bit challenging, but there is a garage right next to the garden walk area.

Had a great time at House of Blues Anaheim last night catching The Maine perform. It’s been at least a decade since going to HOB Anaheim and that was when it was located at Downtown Disney. I’m liking the new location now at Anaheim Gardenwalk. We bought regular GA tickets and it was standing room only. Good views of the stage and sound quality was great. Will most definitely be returning to this great music venue in the future. Will also look into VIP seating for future shows as well. Bar service was excellent.

It would be a great place for a concert, but they vastly oversell it. The crowds are so tightly packed that it feels unsafe. It's hot and sweaty on the floor, the air circulation is bad, and in order to actually see the act, you have to cram yourself in so tightly that it really is miserable. I have no idea how the fire marshal permits that many people in that place. I'm a veteran concert goer, and I don't recommend anyone go there. The sound quality is great, but it's too closely packed to be safe or comfortable.

So much fun, great bar service and staff was very friendly. I was there for a sponsored event and it was amazing. The atmosphere was great and the DJ was on point. Drinks were tasty and the food was great -- we had a limited menu from the sponsor, but the Mac and cheese was fantastic.

Love it??? My cousin performed here and it was a good venue. Only downside is the instruments volume was set higher than the singer volume but still fun!!

I was REALLY impressed with this venue. We ate here first and the food and beer is expensive, but very good. We also go special VIP entrance since we ate in the restaurant first. They have a small stage in the restaurant where there was some music, and then after we ate went to the main stage and rocked our faces off. 10/10 great venue.

The venue is very nice inside. The bathrooms have beautiful murals. Parking is inside a shopping mall complex and we received a 2 hour validation from the show. My only complaint is the ticket had a start time of 7pm when the show actually started at 8pm... so really it meant the doors opened at 7pm. They did have the bar open during that time. We were in the small area known as The Parish.

The venue is really nice. It's on the smaller side, but it's great for up close and personal views of the artists. The downside is that because of it's size the audience is packed inside like sardines. Trips to the bathroom and bar are a mission. This could be due to over selling the shows, but I'm not sure.

Was fully expecting “hard rock” style disappointment with the food however, boy was I surprised when the jambalaya and blackened chicken pasta came out and literally knocked my girlfriends undies off. Thanks to Evan who not only kept our drinks (and shots) full but also was a fan and really showed off his music passion when discussing the band playing that night. Great experience HOB thank you

I loved the venue and the staff were really great and accommodating! The layout was a lot of fun! I went to KillIconic fest! The two stages were so great with setup it was really good! They had drinks and food conveniently there at the venue. Even the crowd was really nice. Be sure to look and follow the FAQ's they post online to ensure you are following their policy. I almost didn't get in with my bag because of size.

Great venue near downtown Disney. We saw AFI 10/27/22 and had a great time. I do think the show was oversold as it was extremely crowded. Make sure to read their policies online before you go. I couldn’t even take a small purse in. They pretty much only allow clear bags, which I understand but I could have saved myself a trip back to the car. We parked at Gardenwalk and House of Blues validated our parking. I expected it to be chaotic getting out after the show but it was surprisingly quick and easy. Overall I think this is a very well organized venue and would see a show here again.

Great venue! The VIP section has comfortable seats, you can see the stage from anywhere in the room even if it's packed, the food is decent, sound is great, staff is friendly. I always have a good time here. I love the art and the skateboards as well!

House of Blues is always great for a fun group night out to see some bands. Everything from Big names to cool cover bands like my last trip that had a Guns N Roses Cover. If you can definitely try and get reservations for the Foundation Room. It’s definitely a change of pace and more group space than being at the bar down stairs if you have a good size group.
