👍 Small Neighborhood Park, nice wide open spaces, great for the dogs. There is a area for your children to play a basketball court (1/2) and plenty of picnic areas with BBQs. There are clean restrooms plenty of parking and a huge baseball field. Very nice to have the Fire Department right next door in... People often mention park, clean, parking, area, play, picnic, baseball,

Small Neighborhood Park, nice wide open spaces, great for the dogs. There is a area for your children to play a basketball court (1/2) and plenty of picnic areas with BBQs. There are clean restrooms plenty of parking and a huge baseball field. Very nice to have the Fire Department right next door in case of emergencies. Handicap parking and access available. Nice senary and safe neighborhood. KEEP IN MIND THAT THIS AREA IS FREQUENTED BY COYOTES. I would keep an eye on your dogs especially after sundown. I enjoyed the park as did Stinker we plan on returning.

A neighborhood park near home that’s simple and convenient for quick workouts, dog walking and picnics! I’ve also parked here on slow weekday mornings for easy access to the Santa Ana River Trail, located at the opposite side of the park. Weekday nights and weekends are more likely busy with games of baseball, basketball and soccer, as well as organized activities, so available parking should be discretionary within reason. There’s a group picnic spot, which may be reserved, separate use picnic tables, playground equipment and basic restrooms available.

How does one evaluate a public park? We used the tables and BBQ grills located near the restrooms. The area where we were was clean. But some of our guests reported that the jungle gym was covered with spider webs. Kind of a downer.

I was here to shoot some basketball on Monday and was so disappointed. The park is usually very clean when I've been here but this day it was a mess, there were small water bottles littered on the ground, paper and discarded food wrappers by the bench and a strong Marijuana odor. I don't mind the smell but also do not think people should be smoking around the children and especially so when there are other families present who may feel disrespect by this behavior. I plan to go again and hopefully this won't be the same as I need this park in my neighborhood

This well-maintained city park is a welcome respite to an otherwise hectic day. The sports fields are chalked, grass is properly cut, the shrubbery is trim, however, the rest rooms are filled with rubbish and void of toilet paper. I am told that The Anaheim Park Rangers apparently frequently visit so as to display a visible presence and providing a cursory illusion of law and order. However, every time I have visited, all I’ve seen are the Park Rangers clustering their vehicles and NOT patrolling the park. Not too many transient patrons sleep on the worn, but painted green, picnic tables.

I love this park, usually stop by after work to just meditate under the trees. It's always quiet and clean. I like that it connects with the bike trail leading to the Santa Ana River bed.

This is a nice little park to walk the dog and take the kids out to play. There's grassy baseball field and lots of trees to sit and have a quiet picnic. It buts up against the river trail too if you need a change of scenery for your daily walks/jogs.

Cute park with covered picnic area, lots of grass to run around in, a baseball diamond, and a play structure. The play structure isprobably best for 5-12, but my almost 4 year old was all over it.

This park is nice with a basketball court, baseball field, barbecues, clean restrooms, and access to the riverbed walking or riding path. There's also a few swallow nests near here. Pretty cool park.

Nice little park with a grass field, q basketball court, playground, and a small baseball field. It's in a quiet neighborhood. The parking is miniscule for how big the park is. It also has an entrance to a bike trail, which makes it worse. The worst part is probably the restroom. The stalls have no doors. There's kids around, so there's plenty that can go wrong there.

We used this as a staging area for our bike trip on the Santa Ana River trail, a few things to keep in mind: (1) Parking lot is small and (2) There is a 3 hour parking limit. We came back before the limit so I can't speak on if your car will be towed/ticketed/both but something to keep in mind if you plan to use this park as a staging area. The park itself was clean, some people were having a birthday party during our visit so the parking lot was a little cramped. 3 stars only because of the 3 hour parking limit.

Riverdale Park in Orange, California, is a tranquil haven that's as safe as it gets. Part of its charm comes from its prime location right next to the fire department. This not only contributes to the overall safety of the park but also provides a reassuring presence for visitors. Impeccably maintained, the park is pristine with well-kept grass, clean benches, and spotless playgrounds. The park's staff do a standout job of ensuring every nook and cranny is tidy, making it a pleasure to visit at any time. The park’s proximity to the fire department adds another layer of security and peace of mind. Families, joggers, and peace-seekers alike can relax, play, or exercise without a worry, knowing help is just a stone's throw away if needed. In short, Riverdale Park offers an outstanding combination of cleanliness, safety, and location, making it a must-visit spot for anyone seeking a serene escape in the heart of the city.
