Fred Barrera Park

Park City park

👍👍 Great little park that makes use out of a roadside strip of land that would otherwise be unuseful. Very clean, nice playground equipment, grassy areas, walking paths. You can watch the sunset while you play catch with your dog. People often mention park,

This park is a very tiny neighborhood park. But it actually has barbecues, it has a gazebo with covered chairs/benches, and it's got a nice little green belt and playground to let your kids run around on. But the con of this park is it is right on a busy Street. However there is a fence to divide that. If you are wanting to hike into Santiago oaks Regional Park, see the picture I attached, into the harder mountainous area and the more advanced trails than this is the place to park and walk into the regional park. Which is what I do on a daily basis. I even took my family one Saturday afternoon and then we came back to Fred's Park and had a picnic after our hike. It's a great little neighborhood park!

Nice little park to take toddlers that are hyperactive. Slides, swings and monkey bars will keep them entertained. There is no basketball court or soccer field actually but there is a park down the street with one. Nice sitting areas and barbecue pits can be reserved for parties. Nice park overall.

A nice hillside park situated amongst trails, gated residential communities and an elementary school. Other than immediate residents, the park’s parking lot is often used to park vehicles of trail bike riders and hikers, as the Anaheim Hills Elementary School parking lot is used during regular school hours and for school activities. Also used for overflow parking when the school is closed, with more spaces available then. There’s picnic areas, public restrooms, manicured pathways and a real nice playground for the kids! Some of the trails can access and connect with points of interest, including the Edition Ridge, Robber's Roost and Santiago Oaks Regional Park. The only downside here may be the lack of shade trees, of which I’m a stickler for when it comes to parks and natural landscapes, so sun exposure may be a consideration. Though high marks for it’s use of public land for recreational use!

Nice little park for kids. Adults can enjoy the hiking trails nearby with Catalina Island view on a clear day!!
