Nice park with a volleyball court, 2 playgrounds one for big kids and one for smaller kids, and about 3 cgarcoal grills next to the playgrounds. A big area for any ball sports ( soccer.... 3tc) they have a picnic area with enough tables and seats for a big party. The problem I encountered is that the restrooms floors were full of "P", and it's very noisy as the park is located @ a location right next to the school and the 55 freeway. Other than that the place is enjoyable.

Update March 4th 2022 - there are literally two trees to give you shade on one side of the parking and sadly they seem to be cutting it down today. What a shame and for what reason? There are Little Critters that seek shelter in the shade as well. I'm baffled? Now they are butchering the 2nd tree. Handy Park is pretty nice. I have a few times met nice people, as many are walking their dogs like I am. It's usually not too busy. It's located at the end of a subdivision. Bathrooms I think are open till 10 or 11pm. I only gave 4 Stars for one reason ~ I like to go during the day, there is absolutely no shade in the parking lot except for one small section usually in the morning hours. Also, there's hardly a tree in the grassy park area itself so no shade to toss a blanket in the grass and enjoy the land. I haven't seen anybody post up with umbrellas yet😲 (I've been known to be the first to make a stand⛱tho😬 lol lol) by

I went to an event sponsored by the City of Orange that honored veterans. I am a Viet Nam veteran. I was impressed and honored by this event. For the first time in my life, I felt as if I deserved to be there. This is a great park.

Field of Valor. Very moving. Each flag sponsored for someone who served and some who paid the ultimate price for our freedom. Unlike our DC Senate and representatives.

Beautiful secluded park that has hosted decades of Little League Baseball and now home to the Orange Field of Valor! Nice, clean, and hidden gem in our community. Love Handy Park!!

This is a great playground for toddler's and older kids. Nicely maintained baseball field and Boys & Girls club has summer camp here. We attended the Veterans day event today with a live band/orchestra and hundreds of flags representing our soldiers.

This is a nice little family park on one side and large baseball fields on the other. It is always really busy but the parking lot does house some homeless. Although I can appreciate the struggles of some who have hit hard times, it also makes me wonder if it will attract a criminal element to the neighborhood surrounding the park.

Great Community Center grounds and location is beautiful, and very clean. It's unfortunate while there, witnessed a drug deal, homeless roaming the parking lot and someone feeding pigeons in the parking lot making it unsafe to even walk to your car

Nice park love the new shade structures added to block sun off playground equipment. Also thier is a large grass area and trees to climb. Definitely a place to check out with kids. Go especially on veterans week thier flag display is quite memorable

Two baseball fields are empty on Father's Day 😯/ Bring your glove and a bat ⚾️ / Bathrooms very clean 😯 / The best park ever 🫡 / The only issue was a couple of homless cars in the parking lot 🤢🫣🤨
