Tru
Grits,
a
true
pleasure
When
I
entered
Tru
Grits,
There
was
no
waiting
for
service.
I
was
immediately
seated
by
gentleman
who
placed
a
menu
on
the
table.
With
so
many
choices
to
choose
from,
I
asked
for
a
little
time,
knowing
I
wanted
something
light,
but
unique
in
taste.
When
the
waiter
returned
to
take
my
order,
I
decided
on
calamari
as
my
appetizer,
a
special
salad
called
the
Hoki
Poke
Salad,
and
root
beer
as
my
drink.
The
first
to
arrive
on
my
table
was
my
root
beer,
ice
cold
in
a
tall
glass,
just
what
I
needed
after
a
long
day.
Next
I
was
served
the
Fried
Calamari
which
was
served
with
Spicy
Calamari
Sauce.
The
calamari
was
crunchy,
tasty,
fresh
and
lightly
fried,
awesome
taste,
and
the
sauce
was
so
good,
I
had
to
ask
for
more.
When
the
Hoki
Poke
Salad
arrived,
it
was
colorful,
fresh
and
the
perfect
size.
This
delightful
salad
contained
salmon,
Ahi,
cucumber
seaweed,
spring
mix
and
avocado.
Being
the
lover
of
sauce,
I
quickly
poured
on
the
dressing
that
accompanied
the
salad.
At
first
bite
I
was
sold,
sold
enough
that
my
fork
barely
made
contact
with
the
table
until
I
was
done.
Yes,
it
was
super,
fresh
and
I
would
definitely
order
it
again,
but
I
might
indulge
and
ask
for
a
double!
With
still
a
little
room
to
spare,
though
I
was
truly
full,
since
no
dinner
is
complete
without
sprouting
your
wings
over
the
desert
menu,
and
sprout
I
did.
Once
focused
on
my
choices,
I
went
for
the
homemade
Creme
Brulee
7
Vanilla
Custard.
I
never
had
Crème
Brulee
and
had
heard
so
many
things
about
its
unique
taste.
This
home-made
desert
topped
with
bruleed
sugar
and
fresh
berries
was
totally
“yum.”
Oh
wow,
and
wow
again.
I
loved
it,
not
to
sweet,
and
light
enough;
I
could
have
had
a
little
more,
yum.
And
they
say
history
repeats???
More
desert
please!
Come
one,
come
all,
and
bring
your
family,
because
this
restaurant
is
family
and
couple
friendly,
well
to
put
it
right,
just
plain
friendly!
