Great independent Hamburger restaurant! Burgers were cooked fresh made to order by courteous staff! Didn't have to wait long for my burger at all came with all the toppings and was reasonably priced. I would love to visit here again and try more items on the menu. I only found out about this place because I went to see St Boniface church and this was almost across the street from it. I would recommend them to anyone who does not want to go to a burger chain like Carl's Jr or Jack in the box. Very good hamburger for the money I'll be back if I'm ever in Anaheim again.

Been ordering the same order for years, but I've never had an order messed up like this before. Got 3 of the saddest looking burgers. Never had them given them to me without anything on them. Really disappointing to get home to eat your food and find this.

This place is the best. Amazing Pastrami sandwiches. My go to spot whenever I'm in Orange County !!! 😛 Fast food simpley doesn't get any better than this !!!!!! Went back yesterday. Still amazing‼️

Hamburger char flavor on point. Bread soft and pillowy. Fries seasoned well. Sandwich large , not stingy with their fries. Onion rings a bit strong not the sweet onion I prefer. A must try.

Varsity Burgers has its own semi-unique atmosphere. It's not trendy, yet it's a cool place to kick back with friends or family and enjoy a bite to eat. The menu has every type of meal that comes in the American life style. From breakfast, lunch and dinner to a wide variety of snacking favorites in-between such as shakes, onion rings and even salads. The menu is pretty extensive. However if you want a suggestion let me highly recommend the the Pastrami. My god what super mammoth sandwich. It has so much meat stuffed in between the sliced French roll. ( I believe it to be a French roll ). This Pastrami will easily fed two people. And for a side dish I would recommend the zucchini with ranch dressing. Price-wise I believe Varsity Burgers to be fair, competitive and even lower priced on certain items than the competition. You can dine in, take out and even dine outside on a nice sunny California day.

This would definitely not be my idea of a fish taco.. More like a lettuce and tomato taco with chopped up fish sticks. Was cold would not order that item again

Best onion rings EVER! Came after work for dinner and got the cheese burger combo with a side of onion rings. Their burgers are huge, delicious and filling. Their fries are fresh cut and not frozen and you can definitely taste it and the onion rings are large, crunchy and delightful. Highly recommend and will be coming back!

The meals are bigger than expected, delicious and make you full easily. Average price is ~8$. The place is neat and plenty of seating inside and outside. Service is fast and professional. They have traditional Mexican drinks also. Drive thru and home delivery are reducing the number of people dining in even though it gets crowded. Enjoy.

My burger was good but not excellent. I was excited to try the onion rings but they were a little overcooked and greasy. Staff was very polite and prompt.

Every time, I am in town. Varsity Burgers is the one restaurant that I never missed . I value a excellent restaurant using the following matrics . Value , taste , friendliness , speed and appreciates. Varsity Burgers meets all my expectations. The owner of the restaurant,Juan , is so friendly and welcoming . He always smiles and welcome every guest. He always make sure the orders correct . The environment is just so down to earth . Speaking of the value and taste . What could I see for dinner chicken quesadillas that it costs $8.84 including the taxes . Amazingly , the chicken quesadillas is very flavourful , fresh , cheesey and tasty . The quantities of the chicken and cheese are so full that every bit of ,it is full of tasty chicken and cheese. The restaurant is super busy yet my order is fast paced and get my orders less than 10 minutes. So .what could I ask more for such beautiful restaurants that has class , and quality . You can dine in ,take out or drive through . Well, can you see the cheesy chicken yet ?

One of the Top Best Burgers The place maybe be same but the food is great, Parking is decent as many customers are drive-through. The burgers are juicy and don't dry out midway through. I got a Double Bacon Cheeseburger and you get exactly what you pay for. Great seasoning and blend of flavor all around. Zucchini is equally good and fits perfectly with the burger. The pricing is in a great range for such a big burger ($9), zucchini ($8) Workers are friendly, and ready to answer any questions and help out in general.

My family and I are from San Jose California. We were on vacation in San Diego, and were on our way back home. We ran into your restaurant unexpectedly, what a fine. OMG everything is so good here! The Bacon Avocado Cheeseburgers, Onion Rings, Fries, Chili Cheese fries...They are also very nice and packaged my food as requested when we were sick and in need of getting food delivered to us cause we were not able to cook for ourselves. Totally appreciate it. The food is clean and delicious and I am a loyal customer now thank you Varsity Burger! We have tried so much from their menu and it is all very good quality ingredients! WAY better Taste & Quality than any fast food joint. Had to give them a great review! You want to eat here!

Consistently yummy year after year! I get the bacon cheeseburger with fries and both are my favorite burger / fries around. They use a house sauce I think it’s similar to thousand on their burgers with thick long pieces of bacon, it’s so delicious. Ask for your bacon crispy if you don’t like it on the rubbery side, some parts are. If you are a fan of ranch, these guys have the best ranch around! It’s a quick drive thru , their food is always made correctly and fresh. The best burger, fries and ranch around!

I’ve never left a review of anything ever in my life, so I hope this goes to show how incredibly amazing this place is. Got a double bacon cheeseburger and fries. The portion size was too much I couldn’t finish it! By far the best burger I’ve ever eaten.

Staff is great they're always pretty busy, so it may be a bit of a wait for your food, but it's really good. I recommend their breakfast burrito. Every time I go, I always see the owner there, and it's nice to see how much effort him and his staff put towards their work :).

The food is pretty good especially for the price. Staff was a little slow but it was probably just an off night for them because usually their pretty good. The guy that helped us had a confused look on his face the whole time like he was new and didn't know what was going on. Either that, or dude was high 😂 Good place to eat.

The grande breakfast burrito was delicious - they added pinto beans and it was huge. We also ordered the sausage and ham sandwich. They were both tasty but we were missing one of the ends of the sandwich so it was an open faced sandwich. Would have been a little easier to eat on the road had it been the sandwich. Besides that, super quick drive thru and a nice experience.

Varsity Burger is really good. It's not great. But the quality of food is high there. The staff is very professional and their gyro is really good. I ordinarily get the gyro and a burger and they definitely have tasty food.. Like everywhere the prices have gone up.

The pastrami was one of the best pastrami sandwiches I've had in a long time my wife had the chicken quesadilla it was really good it could of used some sour cream or some salsa but we didn't ask for any and it was still good my son had the chicken cheddar bacon melt he said it was really good the zucchini sticks tasted really fresh we got all that and a banana milk shake for under 40 dollars. You can't beat this place great tasting food great prices Friendly staff would recommend to anyone!!!

Burrito is huge they asked if you like to have it cut. The potatoes are filling in this burrito, the combo was good I paid extra for bacon in my breakfast burrito. The drive thru line was not long. The food was delivered fast and hot
