So, this was our first time here and I am so glad we tried this place. First off, the service was great. From the front of the house to the bar staff (we had sent a drink back because it was off) they were all phenomenal. My uncle, who is 90 was able to see the menu. It's very hard to find a place that has sufficient lighting so that was a definite plus. He ordered the pot pie which was really good. We had meatloaf, fried chicken and the sticky ribs between the rest of the table. We also had the calamari as an app. I appreciate the server making sure we knew what we were ordering so we weren't left disappointed. Of course, we ordered dessert as well since everyone recommends the butter cake. We had that and the huckleberry apple pie. We were very pleased with our visit. This now goes onto the list of rotating restaurants we will visit when we come into town!

I was looking for a wonderful, casual restaurant that had solid, gluten-free options. The lazy dog was a perfect fit! Heather was a fabulous, attentive and friendly waitress. When she learned that it was our first time at the restaurant, they surprised us with a special small plate! The parmesan chips were so tasty! Highly recommend the Coconut Mojito, if you are looking for a cocktail. The atmosphere is fine, clean, and, of course, a tail wagging good time. I took home a doggie bag and can’t wait to go back!

I came here to celebrate my pup’s birthday and she very much enjoyed her chicken and white rice bowl. My human friend and I enjoyed some appetizers and libations, and our favorite was definitely the street corn fries. 🀀 The coconut shrimp and sauce were a bit underwhelming, but we definitely enjoyed our drinks.

This was my first time at Lazy Dog. I was expecting something similar to chilis/bj's but was pleasantly surprised by the quality. The food here is great and the service is excellent. Their menu has a good variety of options but nothing too crazy. Good portions and nice ambience. Lots of indoor and patio seating.

Went for the first time and it was good. Started off with cheese curds as an appetizer. They were great. I ordered the bbq burger and my wife chicken parm with Alfredo sauce. They both were great. Overall it was a good experience and will come back

We had a 4pm reservation to eat before a 6pm hockey game, and I’m glad we did, as the place was already busy and was soon packed. We were seated quickly and had pretty good service the whole time. We started off with the fried cheese curds, which were fantastic. My husband had the chicken Caesar salad, which was huge. He said it was good. Our son had the fettuccine alfredo, a generous platter, and he enjoyed it. I had the road trip bowl with roasted veggies and butternut squash, which was unique and tasty. It felt healthy and indulgent at the same time. In all, it was an enjoyable first visit at a Lazy Dog restaurant, and I’d like to visit one again.

Came here for a late night dinner. Service was medicore at best - the staff did not appear to be super eager or keen to work, and we were extensively questioned about "are you going to use your salt and pepper?", as the staff wanted to remove it from our table, and they didn't like it when we responded that we weren't sure. My mashed potatoes were clumpy and cold, making the gravy cold and congealed as well. However, since it was our first time at the establishment, the manager did stop by and introduce himself and provided us with complimentary waffle chips.

The staff was super kind and friendly here!! We sat outside right by the fireplace and the vibes were amazing. All of our items were off the Happy Hour Menu. 😊

Walked in with a party of 9 for brunch and was immediately seated. Drink orders were made almost immediately and food orders shortly afterwards. Service was the fastest and best I've seen ever! Even after we were done eating and paid the bill, they didn't rush us out. It was a superb dining experience for a large group!

The food here is amazing! Even more than the food the service was fantastic. Our server Sam was very knowledgeable and answered every question. We felt welcome and was satisfied with everything! Best service at a restraurant in a long time would 100% recommend!

More like Lazy Service & Attitude! I recently visited this place after catching a show by Tyler Henry the Psychic at the Grove of Anaheim and after the show went to Lazy Dog near by but my dining experience ended up being the real psychic event. To start on a positive note, I must say that their Maple Bacon Old Fashioned is the bomb! It's so good, it might even predict your future cravings. The combination of maple bacon and grilled 5 cheese is a match made in food. My girlfriend ordered the Fish and Chips. She was hoping for a mind-blowing culinary experience, but instead, she got a plate of mediocrity. The fish was as dry as a desert, and the chips tasted like they were made during the Stone Age. Even the psychic powers of Tyler Henry couldn't have predicted such disappointment. I ordered a side of Cajun fries, but what I received was an avalanche of Cajun spice. It was like they were trying to set my taste buds ablaze! When I brought this to the manager's attention, they arrived with an extra side of spice and a side dish of attitude. Talk about adding insult to injury! And when I see avalanche of spice, instead of taking my fries back, he brought me the spice instead. Throughout the entire meal, the service remained as consistent as a broken crystal ball. No smiles, no warmth, just a "pay and go" mentality. It's like they were trying to predict our desire to never come back. Well, congratulations, Lazy Dog, you nailed it!

I had a wonderful waiter. Service was quick and all the food I ordered was really good. I arrived for happy hour and ordered off if that too. Everything was yummy and my cocktail was delicious.

Stopped in for dinner with my daughter tonight. I love that Lazy Dog had a great patio for seating area to eat at. There were also heaters for outside to keep it warm when it cools down. The appetizer of bacon cheddar biscuits were amazing!!!! Try them!! Both our burgers were tasty, we asked for medium but they were more along the lines of well done. The umami fries are very good and a perfect side to a burger. Cami was our server and we felt well taken care of with her and her service was great. Take advantage of the happy hour specials, they offer several on both drinks, sides and food choices.

Bulgogi bowl .. Meatloaf with fries instead of mash.. some garlic chips .. Brussels sprouts.. mango and a orange citrus alcahol drink nd 2 cokes .. $90 .. food was good the bacon looked unappetizing on the meatloaf but it was ok. The bowl was very tasty . The citrus drink was very flavorful recommend. Service was great friendly staff the food came out quickly..

Loved it!!! Definitely recommend their steak and natural drink! The fries with corn were also my favorite appetizer. Didn't like their butter cake, it was too sweet

I'm new to Lazy Dog but it has quickly become one of my favorite places to stop at when I'm visiting Orange. I tend to try something new from the menu each time I'm there (last visit was the chicken katsu bowl with banana pudding for dessert) and I have yet to be disappointed. The food here is consistently well-prepared and reasonably priced. The portions aren't huge or anything, but I doubt you'll be leaving hungry. After trying a couple of things, I feel like you can safely judge the quality of the other dishes thereafter. The choice of ingredients in quite a few of their recipes are unique, and bring a fresh take to more classic dishes, which I always appreciate. Everything has always been fresh and tasty, in my experience, especially the veggies. The vibe in here is a modern rustic, with a relatively open floor plan. Not to say a more intimate experience can't be found, but if you're looking for some place quiet, this probably isn't it. That being said, this place has a very "bustling tavern" type of energy to it which I really enjoy. There's a bar area off to the side with TVs, and an outdoor patio area where you can sit around a large and cozy fire. The whole place is very accommodating and roomy. Everyone on staff here is attentive and super friendly, and my last server, Christina, was absolutely no exception. Her great smile, helpful (and delicious!) menu recommendations, and overall joyful demeanor really brought my experience to the next level. The bathrooms are decently clean and maintained, which is always nice. There is a guest Wi-Fi here that you can use, which is a nice little bonus! The theaters are literally a 30 second walk, so you can do a dinner and a movie date super easily and only have to find parking once. I have already been back since my first visit but will also continue to do so, as I've had consistently good experiences!

Definitely a busy waterin' whole. Classy dishes yet laid back atmosphere. Almost feels like a mountainside resort. Not super vegan friendly, but they offered to make accommodations.

The food and the flavors are good, but the restaurant is LOUD, and the portion sizes are a little underwhelming. I had the chicken burrito bowl, and it was tasty, but the 4-ounce chicken portion is disappointing, especially when Chipotle will drop 6 ounces on a bowl that's half the price. The turkey club was good, but the meat was quite dry. Still, the service is always friendly and professional, and the location is convenient.

Wow... I want to go back and eat again like now! And I just barely left. The service I got from Cristina was some of the best I have had. Now she didn't do back flips or go over and above. But you could tell she loved her job. She smiled, she recommended items with knowledge, she was very pleasant and happy. She made the meal 1000 times better. Oh by the way the food was great as well. Started off with a Ginger Beer and some bristle sprouts (they were recommended and I enjoyed them). The ginger beer was not to sweet but just enough and definitely was a great change from just water. I then decided on a PBJ Burger with some sweet potato tots!! I think I chose wisely as when the meal came out my eyes grew 3 sizes. The tots were good they could of been a little more crispy crunchy like normal tots but it was my first time with the sweet tatter kind. I ate them all and enjoyed them. The PBJ burger cooked mid rare was a masterpiece. The sweet the salty the yum. The perfectly cooked bacon and patty were blended well together with the pickels, cheese, peanut butter and jelly. With the jelly dripping off with each bit as the tastes and texture melted in your mouth. Yup hungry again... So many of the menu items sounded good I will be back to try more. Also some desert next time! Go and enjoy!

I've been to a couple different Lazy Dog locations at this point, and they have all been excellent! The patio for this location was very nice. Love the food; this time I had the BBQ Bison Meatloaf, which was delicious. All the elements came together wonderfully: the flavorful, juicy bison wrapped in bacon, the crispy onions, the fluffy mashed potatoes, the variety of vegetables, and the sauce to bring it all together. Definitely will be coming back again and again!

Friendly server who knew the menu well. Answered all our questions and concerns. I really enjoyed the candy bacon appetizer. We did find it to be hotter than we like in the dining area. Server was attentive and food came in a reasonable amount of time.

Wonderful experience. Food was yummy and our server Todd was exceptional! He even came back from his dinner break to make sure our drinks were full and we had what we needed. Hostess friendly. Pot roast- lemon chicken and French fries 😊 and check out the TV dinners. What a win!

The Lazy Dog is slowly becoming one of my favorite places to eat. After eating here several times to try out the different dishes, I can safely say that their food is very well priced and deliciously made. The atmosphere is great for a casual dine in restaurant and, if you're wanting to take your dog to a restaurant, you can bring them out onto the balcony.
