Absolutely must try if you are in the area! I had the green chili plate and it did not disappoint! There was 11 of us and only spent $168. All the other plates looked delicious and the portions were a great amount! Will be back here next time I'm in Anaheim! 🤤🤤

I was pleasantly surprised by this restaurant and it's location here in West Anaheim. From the moment you walk through the door you are met with the most delicious aroma of food cooking and as you look on to the dining room all you see are happy faces enjoying their every bite. Both times I have visited I have been greeted almost immediately and given a table right away. I must say both times have been during the week a Thursday and Friday morning and the place was definitely close to capacity I would day 80% full so I can imagine on the weekends you can expect a bit of a wait for a table. Now on to talk about the food. I wasn't expecting anything in particular but I got to say what a wonderful surprise from presentation to taste one of the best breakfast places this area has to offer. Everything is very delicious and the menu accommodates with a few dishes those who prefer to eat a little healthier and not the traditional hearty meal like eggs Benedict etc... my one complain I will make was the consistency was not there unfortunately although both times delicious the hashbrowns for example were completely different texture each time I visited. I will give this restaurant a 5 stars if it wasn't for the inconsistency, the service is good and attentive but a little rushed due to a crowded dining room I am not sure if they are just overwhelmed and in need of more staff or the staff is just wired on coffee. In addition I will have to add the star taken off was also based on ventilation unfortunately both times I visited my clothes end up smelling completely like food. So if you plan to eat here and go to work or a business meeting after know you will most likely have to change. The upside of that while in the dining room you love the smell of such delicious food. All in all a great place to come check out. Come visit and enjoy all this place have to offer

*UPDATE* Today I crunched on eggshells in several bites of my veggie omelet. I really wish someone would have slowed down and taken the time to pick them out. My order was picked up by a friend & delivered to me. Perhaps if I ate in-house it may have been different. I came back for the biscuit & gravy. That dog gone biscuit and gravy I will be back for! Large servings on the plate made from scratch. Don't enter if you're on a diet because you will eat something you shouldn't. The salsa verse omelet was delicious. The loaf was tasty and got, but that piece was a little tough for me. Maybe just in the oven staying hot. Wasn't sure if I should seat myself. Nicole took care of us though 👌🏾. FYI, wait to be seated.

Delicious food. Visiting the anaheim area and looking for a good local spot? This place is it. The food portions are big great for sharing. Friendly&helpful staff. They have good recommendations. Their popular items are biscuits&gravy and their in house banana bread. Wait time wasn't bad either.

This is by far the best breakfast I've ever had! The flavor was all there! Absolutely everything was so so good. The banana bread was the best ive ever had i have never had any bread that good. You will not be disappointted. Same with the chicken fried steak. I was so happy and very full! Service was great such sweet ladies.

Everything looks so good. My wife and I are diffidently coming back when we are in town. This is our new favorite place for Breakfast. Large portions and everything taste so good 😊

So I'll say this place some incredible customer service. Very friendly- eager to please, they really want return customers. I ordered a few of the recommended dishes. And yeah , they were delicious, the banana bread came warm like it came out of the oven, and the burger was juicy, though I wish I wish it had seasoning , not just cheese, but the final dish - a house favorite - really great stuff, so much flavor - highly recommended.. would eat again at this place if in the are

Stopped by on a Sunday at 12:45, I found on Yelp while searching for breakfasts in Anaheim. It is in a small strip mall. It is larger than it looks from the outside, it was very busy when we arrived. We only had to wait 10 min to be seated. All the staff were pleasant and helpful. It is very loud due to all tables being full. They have a daily "loaf", a slice comes with the egg combo meals or toast, the loaf was banana bread and it was delicious. We ordered a veggie omelet with potatoes, 2 hungry men, eggs and bacon, and veggie hash. The food came out pretty fast, maybe 10 min. All the dishes were cooked perfectly. The hashbrowns were pretty bland, wished they had Cajun seasoning or something, that's just my personal preference. We enjoyed all of the dishes.

Ready to eat, Gave this place a second chance, After the first time I went, found hair on my side of banana bread. I should of said no to banana bread. second time around, Hair on banana bread again. Who’s making this bread, “monkeys” … lost appetite after that. Don’t get me wrong I still took my breakfast burrito. It had Good taste. Didn’t want to think if it had something in there. The egg whites and veggies, no flavor at all.. mixed the guacamole in it since it was over salted. Roasted potatoes ok. Hey you might get lucky to find treasure next time you go. Server offered another piece of 🍌 bread, why would I want the same bread… ? How about a discount on my check… 🙈. Can’t make it a third time. Bye scratch Room.

This place was very tasty! The service was quick and friendly. I have just started eating Egg Benedict and this one was awesome. Lots of avocado and potatoes in my dish. I was able to take a good chunk of it home with me. I like that you can choose between toast, banana nut bread, and some other kind of bread with your meal. The banana bread was very tasty. Very busy on a Friday morning, but great quick service.

Fast service I ordered the eggs and veggie benedict was delicious and the biscuit was moist. The portions are big you can definitely share.

We visited while on vacation and this brunch eatery deserved all of its high rating. One of the best breakfasts of our trip with large portions and fresh, hot food. Ample selections for kids and plenty of options if you're in the mood for breakfast or lunch. We got the hungry man and couldn't finish it all! Definitely worth the visit.

I’ve had this place saved on my places to go for a long time. We were in the area and if you are just craving a good breakfast this is the place to go. It was a lot of food for the price, and the service was excellent. I will definitely come back and try their eggs benedict, and huevos rancheros. If you are in the area stop by.

Great service all-around!! 👏 Delicious brunch food from the kids French toast and chocolate chip pancakes to the Huevos Rancheros and Bad Hombre! Authentic Mexican flavors for the Huevos Rancheros with a mild red sauce and side of beans with rice. Kids serving of French toast with a side of 2 eggs could have fed an adult easily! It's not on the menu but they have iced coffee 🙌 great for this warm sunny socal morning 😎 Great value, friendly service, clean eating space with plenty of seating. See you again soon!

I loved brunch at the Scratch Room. It's a great spot in Anaheim that serves up delicious breakfast food. The cali chicken omelette was amazing - the potatoes were crispy and the omelet had was so flavorful. They also have a great selection of other brunch items on the menu. The atmosphere was so cozy and inviting. We went around 1PM (they close at 2) and the service was excellent. We got sat right away and the food came out pretty quickly. I would definitely come again in the future!

In town for 5 days ate their twice. It was amazing!!!! The loaf of banana bread got us stopped at tsa but so worth it!!!! The biscuits...I just can't they were amazing. Hashbrowns were perfect! Asked for extra crispy bacon and got it. Fresh orange juice. I can go on forever!!! Wait staff was above and beyond for as busy as they were.

My first time here and food was actually really good. I went during the week around 11am, so not alot of people. The waitress was very friendly! Food was served quickly! All in all amazing service would definitely recommend !

Nice place off the beaten path. Not crowded on a Wednesday late morning. Good service with good recommendations. I had an omelette with chorizo and chicken breast, next time I'll eliminate the chicken. Only real disappointment was the biscuits under good gravy. The biscuits were too dense and chewy. This place is okay. The food was a little bland, my toast wasn't toasted and there was a big scoop of butter at the center of the toast which made it super soggy. Place was SUPER packed and there's like 0 parking but luckily we got sat in like 20 min. If you're worried about this places covid precautions they don't wear masks. They don't have social distancing. And they don't supply sanitizer. It be like that.
