This was recommended to me by a friend. I tried it and I like it. I’m a wine drinker but this place changed everything for me to liking beers.

For about a year now, I've been coming to this brewery which was highly recommended by a friend. She has been coming for years. I never had an issue and have always recommended this place to friends. It's always been amazing service. However! On two recent different occasions I've had a bad experience with a few of their staff members and the service. In the first occasion the staff was constantly hovering us and making snarky remarks as we were just trying to hang out. They forgot to get my second drink until i reminded them i had one. AND i ordered a pizza, which took nearly an hour to get to us. After 30 minutes of waiting, my friend went to ask about it and "it got lost in the system" i figured ehh. It happens. But On the second occasion my friend ordered mushrooms and cheese fries along with a mead. It was her first time here and in a few minutes they brought out the mushrooms. I went back to talk to the staff and they forgot the cheese fries. When I asked my friend where her drink was, she said they never gave it to her. So she went back to ask for it. For one order we had to constantly check in on THEM for it. Which was very annoying. Later that night the staff began to give us attitude. My friend was upset with the service and the staff began to argue with her then told all of us to leave. It was 9:50. They close at 11. We spent a lot of money that night on a lot of food and beers so I'm really angry about the situation. The staff has definitely been worse with time. We sat outside on both occasions to prevent this kind of behavior but the staffs only consistency was watching us and making snarky remarks.

In a world of breweries copying each other and one-upsmanship, Phantom ales stands alone. Phantom isn't afraid to take a risk and make something unique. Whether their fabulously refreshing pulque, their 12% cider, or their pickles, everything they make is unlike any other brewery. Unique. Absolutely unique. And delicious.

This place is very hidden. While driving to the location at night I almost thought I had the wrong address. I'm glad I found it and experienced this brewery/restaurant. This location has a hipster vibe but everyone is real friendly. The two males working the bar were phenomenal. They were both so kind and welcoming. The food and alcohol slushies were delicious. I had a "small" pepperoni pizza. I quoted small because it was anything but small. The quality of the pizza was amazing if I lived closer I would visit more often. Next time I'm in town I will definitely be visiting and having another slushie to go with my pizza.

I have been here multiple times.the parking lot is not to big so it can fill up really fast. Phantom has a great selection of beers and ciders. I love the juice jockey when they have it, one of the best beers I've ever had. The food is also great I love to get the beef poutine the pizza is really good. Always have a great time here.

Went to Phantom for the first time this weekend and am looking forward to going back. Great selection of beers and the Hard Root-beer is delicious. This time around it was our final destination after a couple other stops so we only enjoyed one round of drinks. Next time we’ll be starting here and staying much longer.

This place doesn't have the best atmosphere and is small but..the food and the mead are a win win. They have opened up a back patio which is great. Service always quick and friendly. They no longer have my favorite pulled pork nachos but made up for it with the pizzas and the chicken tendys. There phantom sauce was delicious. Also missed the gummy mix in with the mead but the kiwi seltzer was a good stand in. So even with my negative comments I give this place 5 stars and will always choose them over some of the other higher profile places in the area

This place has blossomed into the best local kept secret. They have inventive beers and a cool vibe. The best new addition is food! They have an every changing menu to keep it exciting. They even make their own root beer from time to time.

We originally went to The Bruery Tasting Room and did not like 1 our of 10 beers we tried there. Then we came to Phantom Ales and had an experience to remember. 10 out of 10 beers we tried and we like them all. Good brews here and the food just adds a bonus to their amazing brewery experience. Highly recommend. Will be back for sure.

Cozy relaxed environment. Enjoyed the nostalgic brewery feel with all the barrels and decor around. They had a decent selection of beers. Tried their Flying brick IPA which was tasty. The bar food was also pretty good, especially their pizza. The bartenders were very nice and accommodating. I called to reserve for a small party and they had the seating set aside for us by the time we showed up. If you are in the area, would definitely recommend.

Went last night with a group and was flabbergasted by the treatment we received by the woman in charge, said her name was Samantha but we also her someone call her dawn? I’m not sure. Several people in my group ordered food. A few people got everything they ordered in a timely manner, one friend had to ask about her order and a few minutes later it was brought out. Another friend order a pizza, a pepperoni and pineapple pizza. After about an hour she went up and to ask about her pizza. The manager came over and stated the system went down and communication from their iPad to the kitchen was gone so some orders never made it to the back. She brought out a pepperoni pizza told my friend to keep it for free and she’d bring out her order. She never did, then accused one person in my group of stealing a different customer’s order, subtly called my friend whose pizza never came out a little and kicked our whole group out because she couldn’t admit she never brought out the pizza. She would then proceed to ask who ordered what and tried to make everything more confusing than it needed to be. One person in our entire group of 11 was asking for her order but the manager would backtrack in what I think was a tactic to get her to backdown. All my friend wanted was her order and the manager couldn’t and wouldn’t do that. When she closed us out she went through the process and said “no tip because we don’t want it” prior to all of this the service was fine. I love phantom ales but this is definitely something that is going to keep me away.

I love this place. Every beer that I tried is a gold winner. The phantom phog was my favorite but it was a had choice. Love the small brewery environment. We ordered a pizza and it was fantastic..... The other food I saw come out looked amazing as well? Like the many great micro breweries I've visited, the location is obscure. But it is all about the beer! But don't be discouraged by the lack of parking and the weird entry as it is worth the experience!

Loved the spicy chicken sandwich. I wish I had more time to try different varieties of beer. I got The Wookiee and it was great! A very unique flavor. (Pecan coffee brown ale.) And this wasn't even the one with all the ribbons! 😁👍

My first time going to this bar and I loved it. Shawn (John?) was very helpful and courteous and helped me find out exactly the type of beer I wanted to have. I’d definitely go back with my friends. The food was delicious too!. My favorite beer by them is the Juice Jockey. I recommend it.

I'd you like mead, you need to come here. The place is cool inside and lots of games to choose from to play at your table. Good food and clean bathrooms.

One the best brewerys you can try. Small and intament. Cool decorations around the joint. The longer you look the more you'll spot. As for the drinks, I recommend doing flights back to back as to try everything at least once. They have a drink for everyone's preference. Pricing on drinks is VERY reasonable. They offer growlers and Cans to take home. 8/10 would definitely come back again.

Pretty disappointed! Such great reviews for such horrible service. Joint was nearly empty upon our arrival, ordered 2 brews and food. Other patrons came after us, getting food and us, still nothing. After an hour the bartender “will check on our food” uh, no thanks!! An hour of waiting ✌🏻 for a pepperoni pizza and carnitas fries…GTFOH! Not interested!!!

I want to give every employee here a forehead kiss. I’ve been coming to Phantom Ales for years and can’t say enough good things about the staff, environment and products but today I have to say a huge thank you to the staff working 7/16 evening. like always, i had a great meal and great drinks but our beer tender came out to our car as I was leaving to return my sunglasses. I totally appreciate her and always advocate for this place.

I’m glad I stopped in! In an industrial area with a nice cozy tap room. Solid bar food selection and great staff. I got the Anaheim Phog IPA. Stop by!
