Didn't get to go inside, but the construction in those days fascinates me. The window were curved to match the curvature of the walls. Absolutely amazing to me. The huge tree was very worth seeing.

The Woelke-Stoffel House has a round veranda opening out onto the neighborhood with many colorful foundation plants. The Australian Fig is really quite massive and worth seeing.

Learn about and see how German Founder's of Anaheim lived and created the city of Anaheim, CA. Annaheim meaning " home by the Santa Ana river" in German. You will also see the giant fig tree that is over 300 years old!

One of the few bits of Anaheim's interesting German history that is left. It is well preserved and well maintained, with interesting informational placards, etc. Unfortunately it is only open about once a month for tours, so if you actually want to go inside the house you'll have to check to see if and when they are open. One of the prettiest trees in Anaheim sits on the property, a huge fig tree that was apparently the inspiration for Disney's Swiss Family Robinson tree house. Worth a quick stop if you're visiting and fed up with the endless strip malls and concrete of this part of OC. It's like a little oasis.

Really cool houses and giant tree! Everything on this property is very well maintained and fun to learn about. Wish they were open more often.

I remember going there for a field trip in elementary . Both houses were really interesting but something I can't forget is of the painting in the big house how its eyes would follow me wherever I would go. Ever since that day I've been wanting to go back but I had forgotten where it was located. I am really excited to go and visit.

I love Victorian homes and recently went on a road trip to three famous California Victorian homes. The Mother Colony house isn’t as stately as some Southern Victorians or as some Southern antebellum mansions, but it’s still a nice piece of Victorian architecture in SoCal where Victorian architecture is hard to come by.

I came here a few years ago and I thought that this is the most calming place to visit. A fellow math teacher of mine visited this place years before I did and how did I know? He showed me and my classmates a video of him coming here in 2009.

Fun little spot in the middle of Anaheim. Had no idea this place existed until I started looking for unique spots in the OC. And...I found this one. Thinking of making this a location on a new Race/LA version for the OC.

Quaint. A good representation of Anaheim during its earliest days. There is not much to do, the whole site can be walked and consumed in the matter of an hour. However, the espically huge fig tree is a must for the kids! The site was charming, that tree was the selling point!

Step back in time to 1857. This is the oldest wood structure in Orange County. Also on the park property is the Woelke-Stoffel house, and a gigantic Morton Bay fig tree from the 1870s.

It's the oldest wood frame house in Orange County. There's also a gigantic tree on the property that was planted by the German colonists.
