Great hike, not too long but challenging enough for casual hikers. Not a lot of shade but good breezes. Medium to large dogs would like the exercise, but again limited shade for them to cool off. No dedicated parking, which helps keep the crowds out. Views of Newport, Catalina, PV peninsula, downtown LA.

I've walked/ran this trail since around 2012. Three hills that will forsure get your blood pumping, each summit gives you an amazing view over OC, and on clear days the ocean is visible.

We went stargazing and got to see the amazing sunset and city view. We street parked at nearby neighborhood and walked a few minutes to get there. Just be careful when crossing the street. We witnessed many cars ignoring the stop signs, and it's downhill too so 👀

Great little hike for a view over OC. I love coming up here at sunset and even at night I have never seen coyotes/mountian lions, so its a safe night hike too!
