My partner and I stayed at Castle Inn & Suites this past weekend and we enjoyed it. The location was great, about a 10 minute walk to the Disneyland Resort security checkpoint. Staff was friendly and made sure that everything was ready for our stay. The room was clean and the bathroom/sink area was the perfect size for us. (I do wish there was a curtain or something that could be closed between the sink area and the beds, though) My only major complaint is that the beds were somewhat uncomfortable. They definitely felt like there was little padding left on them. Otherwise, we had a wonderful 3 night stay and I'll probably look at booking another stay.

We love this hotel and have stayed here multiple times. We love the option of the family suite since we have 4 kids. Most other hotels make us have 2 rooms. It is Only about 5-10 minute walk to the front gate at Disneyland. They don’t serve breakfast but we usually just take food with us since there is a fridge and microwave.

This is a decent option for a hotel along "the strip". It's slightly dated but it is modern enough to give you a comfortable stay. The real star of the show here is its proximity to Disneyland though the castle theme is nice if you have kids. It's probably a 10 minute walk to the gate from here which is great. I've definitely stayed in worse hotels and like most hotels across the street from the park, it's really more of a motel but it serves its purpose well.

This place is very nice. It isn’t the luxury 5 star hotel so manage your expectations but it was perfect for our family. We loved how close it was to Disneyland that we could all walk there. We had a group of 4 kids with the oldest being 6 and nobody complained about the walk. Took about 6 minutes to get from our door to the security lines. The front desk staff was very kind and easy to work with. They always had a smile on their face when we talked to them. We put some frozen food in the freezer for breakfast and they never said anything negative about having to retrieve our food in the morning. There is a laundry service on site that we had to use and it was nice. The only downside to the hotel was no breakfast provided by the hotel but the short walk and the lower cost made it worth it. I’d stay there again for sure.

This isn't a ritzy but it is a nice one and it is in a great location for Disneyland vacation. Te room was clean and well taken care of. I appreciated things like the second sink outside of the bathroom, the fridge and the microwave but the first thing that caught my eye was the space in the room. There was a slight issue with the hot water and I'm sure you can find a nicer place but the size of the room, the location and the price make this a over all a good place to stay. I would recommend a stay here. Oh and I cant forget to mention that the staff was nice too.

We enjoyed our stay at the Castle Inn and Suites in regular 2 queen beds, ground level. We slept soundly and never were disturb by outside noises. Nothing fancy, but a great value with firm mattresses, fridge, microwave and coffee maker. We asked about an iron and one plus a board was brought to the room quickly. Staff was attentive, friendly and helpful. The pool ant hot tub were perfect, clean and relaxing fun. Walk to Disney was 7 to ten minutes.

10-15 minute walk to Disneyland entrance and it's well lit and very populated and safe. The rooms are older and the beds are firm. We pretty much stayed at the parks from morning till close so it did what we needed, provided a place to sleep and get clean. The staff is amazing. So helpful and attentive. I had an issue with the scooter I rented, the office had charged it overnight but it had less battery than when I dropped it off. They immediately called the company for me and got a replacement set up.

This place was amazing! Had a 2 room suite and it was perfect! The people were amazing and helped so much. The pool was very nice and clean. Not far from Disneyland, very short walk. Will be returning!

This place was actually clean and well kept, would definitely stay there again. Had 6 rooms in a row. Easy walking distance to Disneyland , grand kids loved the pool to relax in when they weren't in Disneyland. Only thing missing was breakfast.

Very nice. I chose this place because I could easily tram to Disneyland, and it just looked very nice. The beds especially looked like a castle. I was on the first floor, so that meant I had a door to go outside and I can watch fireworks from Disneyland. Furthermore, there was stories written on the walls, and you can walk around the hotel and it will tell a full story. I thought that was pretty cool. Also, there was also a really cool carriage in the lobby. I had to take a picture of that.

Great place to stay if visiting disneyland. Around a 10 minute walk to entrance of the happiest place on earth😄. We did hear kids running around outside our door(second floor) late at night, and one drunk lady😅. But that's not a negative towards the hotel, it can happen at any hotel. Maybe bring ear plugs if you're a lite sleeper😉. Good price on rooms. Room was clean when we got in, and they clean if asked too. I would definitely stay here for future disneyland visits.

We travel to Disneyland frequently and this is the place we usually stay at. It's clean, comfortable and a very short walk to the park. For the price point, size of room and location, it is the first places we look to see if they have available rooms for the dates we are traveling. The rooms are a bit dated and nothing fancy, however everything was very clean, well kept and every staff interaction I have had has ranged from good to excellent. There are also plenty of restaurants and convenience stores all around outside the hotel. We will definitely stay here again, and even have reservations already here for our upcoming trip.

Every time we go to Disneyland this is where we stay always a nice day always a good hotel and it's only about a block and a 1/2 away. From main gate. There is a pizza parlor just down on the corner and they're open until midnight. Don't look it up in Google because Google information is wrong.

Love this place.. Great Staff, Service and Rooms. Located directly across the street from Disneyland. We enjoy everything in the area and choose this Hotel again and again. It's alway in the middle of all the places we attend. Thank you Castle inn & Suites. Thank you Marc, Angel, Briana and the rest for making our stay memorable.

Amazing hotel. Clean, comfy rooms. Amazing staff! And only just over a half a mile from Disneyland. Highly recommend and will be staying again on our next trip.

The staff are amazing and very friendly. The room was very nice. Very clean. The only complaint we had were the pillows were a little hard and the bed was firmer then we would have liked. Excellent location great price. Would stay here again.

We love staying at Castle Inn and stay frequently as we are key holders and live out of state. The price is good compared to other hotels in the area. The staff is always exceptional and never lets us down when we need something. We use the family suite as we have 4 adults and a child. It works great for us. We stayed this past weekend and everything was great as usual. I called to get an ironing board and it was there within a few minutes. Keep up the good work.

Adorable motel with modern amenities in an "original" Castle-shaped package. Staff is caring and careful, friendly and kind. Hairdryer wasn't working and they had maintenance there within just a few moments with a new one and he made sure it worked before stepping out. Super nice people. Great option for those with health concerns too. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Got the roll-in shower room b/c it is best for my dynamic disability and it was fabulous. Wish I could take this lodging with me for the rest of our cross country trip. Easy walk to Disneyland parks and all the local shops and dining. I haven't been to Disneyland in years but this hotel has me wishing I get to come back real soon:). So smooth and easy. Oh, BYO hair conditioner though. ;). Didn't get to use the pool but soo glad they have one. Would be first on my to-do list next time as we came in late and left early this trip.

The family suite was just right for my two daughters and myself. They had their own room, and separate beds. Fridge, microwave, good wifi included and coin laundry made our longer stay easy, and we enjoyed the pool. Stores close and walking distance (2 blocks) to park entrance, plus scooters for rent in lobby for those with limited mobility, like grandparents in room next door. Would stay again.

I absolutely adore the Castle Inn & Suites. I've come here by myself, with my husband, and with my friends. We have all loves it! The location is amazing. It's a 5 minute walk to the gate of Disneyland. There's a pool, a jacuzzi, and the staff here always do their best to go above and beyond. Support an independently owned hotel! This place rocks!

It’s not the Hilton, but if I wanted to pay exorbitant prices for a room I only spent 6-8 hours in between Disney park times, I would have paid to stay on property. Castle Inn is a real bang for your buck! Would definitely recommend. Staff was so friendly and clear and helpful. Folks at the front desk were fun and kind, the housekeeping staff bid me hello when I walked by, and I was extra appreciative of not even having to ask if they had an elevator- I limped in after a day at the park and they let me know the easiest and fastest way to my room (via elevator access). The little things like this add up when you’re tired and trying to get off your feet! A basic double queen room is a comfortable size with TV, mini fridge, hair drier, coffee machine, microwave. I had enough coffee for my stay, plenty of linens, and enjoyed the cute little folded towel shaped like a bird on the bathroom are counter. Rooms clean, property clean, love it. Thanks for all you do, Castle Inn!

We had a two double bed standard room. It had everything we needed for our trip to Disneyland. The hotel is situated in easy walking distance from the park entrance. You do have to cross the street at 2 intersections but it is very easy to get to the Disney parks and downtown Disney. The hotel has a store and several vending machines closed during our stay, last week of April 2023. Housekeeping had just been restored to regular operations. The outdoor pool and hot tub were great for unwinding after a long day of walking and standing in lineups!

I am beyond grateful for the castle inn. Affordable, clean, and very luxurious. The staff made our visit even more magical by being so friendly. I felt like this wasn't my first stay. They made us feel like this was home. After staying in a castle, 😉, how can you stay anywhere else. My family and I look forward to our next visit. Thank you castle inn.

I booked the hotel through Disney Travel and was worried about how it’d look. There’s a reason there’s only good things spoken about this place. It’s a 5-7 minute walk from the parks and it’s comfortable. Staff was very nice and recommended Anaheim Packing District for dinner and that place was amazing! Of course we heard some guests coming back from the parks late at night but that was expected. Room was clean and AC kept the room cold for us after a day out in the sun. Would definitely recommend as a hotel if you’re thinking about visiting the parks and I would definitely be staying again!

Really wish housekeeping would have been done during our stay. We had to call front desk twice for towels and for our trash to be taken out. We stayed for 5 nights. There was a strange sent in the air conditioning thankfully some baby powder helped mask the sent. Grateful that parking was included in the stay and that it wasn't an additional fee. Rooms were spacious. The front desk was always helpful. Oh there was no continental breakfast either just a heads up if you are counting on that. Gift shop is still closed, I guess covid may have ruined that. I mean it's 2 1/2 years later, not sure why it would be closed but to each their own opinion.

  • 5/5 J M. 1 year ago on Google
Excellent location next to some smaller restaurants and a gift shop so you can grab a quick bite before heading to the park and souvenirs won't break the bank. The hotel is nice and comfortable with a castle theme. There's a pool and hot tub. The rooms are nice but nothing spectacular. But if you're there for Disney, they're certainly nice enough and the price wasnt bad. Short walk to Disneyland.

Wow what a find! The staff were extremely helpful, and because we stayed a whole week they did provide us with housekeeping. The beds were comfortable, and the room was very clean and large. We kept our stroller open, didn't even need to stash it away. There's a huge wardrobe where we hung clothes and stored all our luggage. We loved having a separate bedroom for the kids, and with two tables plus a separate sink area, and two TVs, we were very well set up for our stay. The microwave, fridge and coffee maker also allowed us to do breakfast in our room with porridge, cereal etc. and to prepare packed snacks and lunches. The location is fabulous - a 5 minute adult walk/10 minute small child walk to the main gates of Disneyland and California Adventure with only two street crossings. There's a CVS with pretty much all the groceries, medicine and other handy items you need, at the next intersection a few minutes walk. There's also a souvenir shop, liquor store and fast food right next door, don't worry about there being nothing on site. We also felt safe in the area on the street, there are always people around and most are guests or cast members. We asked for a quiet room and that's what we got. There was a little bit of noise in the morning with other guests getting ready an.d the garbage truck coming, but other than that we slept well. Our only complaint was the water pressure - if you have long hair just take a little longer in the shower. The property is a little tired; if they renovated they could charge twice the price. Overall this was absolutely amazing for the price, spacious, clean and a great location.

This hotel was in the perfect location. It was a 10-15 minute walk to the park. It was very clean and the staff was awesome. They froze my ice packs at night for me so I could use them during the day at Disneyland! That was so helpful. The only two negative things I could say is. The beds are so uncomfortable. I didn't sleep at all and the pool was about the size of our hotel room. It was tiny!!!! Otherwise, it's a great place to stay.

This was our first time staying so close to the Disneyland parks and it was a great experience. The room was clean and spacious. From our window we could glimpse some of the Disneyland fireworks. The kids really enjoyed the pool. We used the laundry room, which was fantastic (we drove from Canada) we appreciated the parking and there was a nearby charger for our Tesla at the Walgreens. The staff were polite and helpful and I appreciated their covid policies. The room can stay really dark which was amazing when we wanted to sleep in. (There was some odd water temperature fluctuations in the shower) We would happily stay there again.

The Castle Inn and Suites offered exactly what we were looking for during our Disney vacation - a clean and comfortable place to rest after a long day in the parks. We got a great deal through the Disney Good Neighbor Vacation Package, and the rooms are indeed a bit dated, however everything was very clean and well kept. Comfortable beds, plenty of linens, and a friendly and accommodating staff. The walk to Disneyland is very manageable, and there are plenty of restaurants and convenient stores around. Would definitely stay here again!

This place was amazing! The room was clean and beautiful! The beds were comfortable and they had a cute swan made from towels! The staff was amazing and very accommodating! Hands down I would recommend this place and when we have our next Disney Vacation we will stay here again! This will be our go to hotel from now on!
