I would not encourage anyone to come here. It took my cat for teeth cleaning, and doctor removed a mass. Brought her back home And I noticed her Side of her leg was burnt. I questioned it with the doctor and he had no clue what happened. How does he not know what happened when she was under his care? I took her in October 12 and it’s now November 6 and it’s still not healed. All he did was give me a cream to put on her burn. He absolutely had nothing to tell me on what happened to her. Again, how do they not know what happened to my cat when she was under their supervision? This hurts me because my cat got hurt And she’s still not healed. Your pets would get mistreated here. Don’t bring them here. The place is probably not up to code. It smells, and there’s no ventilation. I’m sorry doctor, but you should be more aware on how you treat the pets that go to you. This was very unprofessional of you. Zero stars for this place. It should be shut down. The equipment that they had in her mouth was really dirty. Very unprofessional. He had no clue what happened to my cat under his supervision. 11/11 I had to take her to the ER because the scab came off and it’s a big hole now.

My dog had a broken leg. I brought him to this doctor. He did bone alignment and charged me $300 for every time that I brought my dog back for bandage change. This place charged me without telling me the price quote at first. After almost 2 months, my dog’s leg did not heal at all. And he sent my dog out to specialist. That’s a matter of trust. I went to another specialist. I spent another $5000 on bone surgery. I wish I went straight to the specialist instead of going to this place. It’s a waste of time and money.

I am having a very positive experience with Dr. Lopez. My kitty is in the best place he can be considering what I have to work with. Kitty is hospitalized here so he has graciously allowed me to visit (party of 1 only, due to Corona virus) The inside is extremely clean, well organized. The prices are very reasonable in relation other vets. Dr. Worked all weekend even though it's a holiday at that. I'm impressed by his dedication to the welfare of the animals. He tells it like it is, plain and clear, no smoke and mirrors, just what your pet needs, after that it's up to you. I completely trust 100% in the care my precious, loved family member is receiving. Dr. Lopez is a blessing. I highly recommend Dr. Lopez for your fur baby.

My 10-week old puppy, Momo, tested positive for parvo but is now on the road to recovery! Dr. Lopez and Mrs. Rosita did an amazing job taking care of him. It was tough seeing Momo suffer, but their constant updates and responsiveness eased my stress. Mrs. Rosita's love for animals made me feel very comfortable leaving my puppy in her care. After 5 days hospitalized here, Momo is finally back home, eating a lot, and drinking well! 🐾 Hopefully he will fully recover soon!!

I came in a bit of a panic on a Sunday afternoon. The doctor ended up being in an emergency surgery when I arrived but the assistant was helpful. My pug had gotten bit on the ear and neck, luckily it was not too bad, however, he also has chronic ear infections that I have not been able to manage with his previous vet. The doctor was able to take him in first thing the next morning (Monday) and care for his issues. Although the visit overall including the medications was a little over $500, I am very appreciative for the prompt, caring service and being able to relax a little with a medication routine that is managing his ear infections as well and his dry eyes. He is doing so much better!

I gave them a one star because I had shopped around for consultation prices for my puppies that were only 2 pounds and the other one was 3 pounds.I quoted $55 for both. I told them that they had ticks and what could they recommend and how much it was going to cost me I was told to make an appointment and that it would be $55 for both since they are two months old. Well I get into the office and see the veterinarian. The Vet proceeds to remove ticks & apply medicine and tells me to return in one week for the routine vaccines. I am handed at the front desk an invoice for $260. See the photo for reference. I am unhappy because it was very unprofessional, and no customer service whatsoever to not provide quote before services are rendered. What if I didn’t have that kind of money to spend and I actually was not planning that’s what upsets me.That is why I shopped around for prices and to my surprise the bill attached. Make sure if you do come , get quoted and make it clear to get prices before services aré rendered.

An A+ 5 star ⭐ rating for Dr. Lopez and his staff! This is by far the best veterinary clinic I have ever been to. He was the second vet I had taken my cat Junie to with an infected incision and the first vet clinic I went to just immediately wanted to do a 1000$ surgery and we didn't have that kind of money. We were in a panic because basically without the surgery she would get worse or at least this is how it was being presented to us. In tears I started calling other veterinary clinics and online I found Brookhurst Animal Medical Center (Dr. Lopez). I called them and told them the situation and they told me to bring Junie to them immediately so Dr. Lopez could look at her. Dr. Lopez said surgery was definitely a possibility but that we could also try a more conservative approach first. He let us know up front there were no promises it would work but he was willing to give it a try and also put faith in us because this was going to require work on our end as well. He put Junie on Antibiotics and also gave her a shot and taught us how to clean and bandage her open incision 3 times a day. We went back every 2 days at first so he could keep a close eye on it. Thank the Lord and thanks to Dr. Lopez it worked! Our Junie is getting better and no surgery needed. The difference between the first vet I went to and Dr. Lopez is that the first vet was corporate. I didn't realize veterinary clinics were corporately owned. However, Brookhurst Animal Medical Center is family owned! Dr. Lopez is the owner and let me tell you how you can literally feel the difference when you walk in the place. It's like walking into home when going to see Dr. Lopez. Veterinary clinics always seem so cold to me but Dr. Lopez's clinic is warm and inviting. His Staff is fantastic and so caring. All in all I have found a real gem! Our financial situation wasn't great and Dr. Lopez knew this and was very conservative in his pricing and just really worked with us to make treating Junie possible so we didn't have to lose our baby. I will be bringing all my cats here now and I absolutely dread the day Dr. Lopez retires! Absolutely the best Veterinary Clinic in Orange County! LOOK NO FURTHER and trust me...call Dr. Lopez!

My daughter saw a worm in my cat, immediately I called my vet. But was unable to see my cat for at least 2 weeks! I called around, but on Saturday no one was available. But Dr Lopez took Lion in within 30 min. He is very knowledgeable & his assistant was very nice. Thankyou!!

Dr. Lopez is knowledgeable and trustworthy. Over the years he has completed several successful yet difficult surgeries on my pets. He was able to remove a tumor from the mouth of our elderly pitbull. I recently saw him for an eye infection affecting one of my cats. He immediately identified and diagnosed him with entropion (google it) and was able to perform surgery to correct my boys eyelids. While he was under he also performed a dental cleaning. I decided to bring another cat to Dr. Lopez for a dental cleaning, but after checking his teeth, he felt he did not require the procedure and sent me home with a cleanser for me to use at home to improve his bad breath. I appreciate his honesty and dedication to providing the best care to our animal friends. Thank you, Dr. Lopez.

Best bet ever really took his time to make my dog part of the family and be treated as good as if it was his own! Very patient and knows what he’s doing I will come back each time. He is wonderful and forgot to mention I drove almost 2hrs there because he’s worth it highly recommend your dog is trusted and safe and treated very well there

I first started coming here during pandemic when my dog was in exc pain, they happened to be open on the weekend past 2pm. They were able to get her in within the hour and take care of her, since it was during the pandemic, they would come to my vehicle and take her. Dr. López removed a huge tumor she had when her primary mentioned to me it was high risk. At the time I only had verbal communication with him and the staff. He removed not only one tumor, but 2. Explained the entire procedure with detailed, gave me the assurance Mimi was going to be okay. He was honest and sympathetic. She’s had multiple visits since. I recently took her to her primary veterinarian hospital and had them do the full medical analysis on her, my dog is a 14yr old small poodle mix. Since I noticed her prescribed medication wasn’t fully taking care of her cough, I called Brookhurst Animal Medical. I was able to get an appointment on a Sunday which is my normal day off. For the first time I experienced being inside the center, my visit was to get a second evaluation/medical opinions on her health condition I was told she had. I’m so thankful I did, Dr. Lopez was able to evaluate her recent blood work and explain to me her recent X-rays my last vet failed to do. He found the problem that was more serious then what I was originally told. Everyone here was so kind and treated Mimi with kindness and professionalism. I highly recommend this medical center. I’ve referred friends and family because every time we’ve been here, Mimi has left in better condition. He’s honestly allowed me to have my child for more years, allowing her to stay as healthy as she can at her age.

My experience was excellent. Dr. Lopez saved my cats life. When my other vet missed what was going on with Oreo/Mr Mittens. I called and Brookhurst Medical Center they saw him at once. He was taken good care of by his staff. Thank you for the loving care you took of Oreo.

This doctor Lopez has never let me down. Ive been going to him for years. This doctor helped my vomiting cat. Without having to go to the extreme battery of tests and ultra sounds. He covered all bases with medication, diet change and suggesting I keep my cat on a leash for ten days. ( so he will quit eating the grass that is making him puke) it is such a relief to see my cat comfortable and not in distress.anymore. I’m going to stay on the recommended food for awhile. And once again thank you Dr. Lopez. PS. If you ever need pet surgery you can feel blessed knowing doctor Lopez he’s the best.!

Our first visit with Dr. Lopez with amazing staff. We took both of our pets. It was a bit overwhelming. But the dr and workers helped us. Very attentive, friendly and supportive with our pets (2 doggies). I highly recommend. It’s hard finding a good reasonable vet that cares. We already have a follow up on two weeks.

I'm sure they are a good place, this is no blame thrown at them, i showed up cause I didn't understand why my dog wasn't acting right, unbeknownst to me was my dog was dying and was beyond saving. I just didn't have a good experience based on the situation unfolding, and unfortunately they got caught in the crossfire of Shivers' final death throws.

So today was the first time I went to this vet. I rescued a 6 to 7 week old kitten last night and he had an upper respiratory infection, I was able to see the dr. Right away and even make an Dr., the Dr. Was very clear and straight forward on what the kitten needed and made sure I understood how to dispense medication. The process were within reason. I appreciated this dr. Very much and the kitten is on the road to recovery.

Great place. Very affordable. Went to another place that was supposed to be low cost wait time was 4 hours in the car called this place had my dog inside In about 20 mi s with a emergency fee added to the bill. But was still cheaper than the low cost clinic. Later that year had my dog laid to rest received her ashes in a very presentable wood box very much appreciated the love and affection they show the animals and me and my family when the time came. Will be taking all my animals there... THANK YOU GUYS!!!!! KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK!!!!!

Dr. Lopez and his staff are truly the most amazing people. This is a place that is the real deal when it comes to providing the best care possible for your animal(s). I have been with Dr. Lopez for years and have always trusted him with my dogs, I have never met a vet who is so good with people and also so phenomenal with animals. ( To top off the amazing efforts that they put in to help animals, this Clinic is also very understanding when it comes to financial cost and do not gouge you like many veterinarian offices do.) If you are currently looking for a vet, but not sure where to start, this would be the best place! :)

I needed a prescription for antibiotics for my cat after she got a few scrapes and scratches and was able to quickly get my cat checked up and on antibiotics. Dr. Lopez kept it quick and made it as about as nice as a trip to the vet can be, answering all of my worried questions. Much respect to the people who work with health, I can only imagine the stress of dealing with the lives of animals.

Harry is doing much better after his visit. The staff was courteous and saw us same day! Professional, knowledgeable, and fast. Everything I could ask for!
