Dr. Angelo and his assistants certainly knew how to care for my sick cat, Boots. Boots was feeling very bad and therefore he was uncommonly hissy and defensive but they cared for him kindly. The facility is clean, very professional and the staff are friendly.

I have had dogs my whole life with many terrific vets. But, hands down, Dr. Angelo at La Palma Veterinary Hospital is the best and kindest vet I have ever had. The staff is very caring and know you and your pets. Dr. Angelo has been there for my family and for our dogs as puppies or new adoptees to end of life. I cannot recommend La Palma Veterinary Hospital highly enough.

I have or had 2 of my dogs coming here, my older dog was given strong pain meds just to try to keep him as comfortable as possible, the vet said whenever needed just to call and get a refill, and that’s what we did 3 days ago, we called to request the medication, we kept calling and were told the doctor was busy !!!!! So yesterday we had to make the hard decision to put our dog to rest because he was in much pain and of course we COULD NOT GET HIS MEDICINE FROM THIS CLINIC BECAUSE THE VET WAA TOO DAM BUSY TO APPROVE IT!!!! We cried sooo much yesterday because it’s just not fare, their prices are not low at all and to top it off their customer service SUCKS!!!!! They don’t care about our pets, seems like this is the case, cause the vet knowing that our dog probably had cancer and was in pain didn’t toke a min. To help us with his medicine

Well connected to equally high quality specialists for issues that require it 4. Reasonable prices (cheaper than most I’ve seen) This office is a gem, I cannot recommend them enough.

I have been taking my pets here for over 10 years. The staff are all kind and caring to all the animals. The services are all reasonably priced, and the vet may make recommendations on what your pretty needs but in no way insists on doing unnecessary tests. Your pets are definitely in good hands here!

Dr. Angelo is the best! He is very compassionate and really cares about his patients. He is wonderful with all our furry babies and takes good care of them. Super happy with the service that my dog and I have received here. This has been our vet since he was a puppy and we have always had positive experiences. He just got neutered and had the speediest recovery ever!

Booked an appointment here for the first time last week and absolutely love and recommend them! They let you wait in your car while a room is prepared, which helped my pup's anxiety massively. The team made sure I was with him as long as possible and only brought him to the back for five or so minutes. The vet, vet techs, vet assistants, and support staff were all kind and listened attentively to my thoughts and needs and responded accordingly. I didn't feel pressured at all to buy procedures that weren't absolutely necessary. Last and definitely not least, I was wearing a shirt which designated my pronouns as they/them. Not only did the staff compliment me multiple times on the shirt; they also correctly gendered me, which is above and beyond any veterinarian's office I've ever been in. Will definitely be using them in the future! :)

It never gets old... each time I take my Charlie to la Palma Veterinary Hospital ,The staff there is so inviting and so professional and really makes me feel at ease. No one really treats your animal or your Fur baby the way you would but they come very close to it . They make me feel comfortable asking what I may deem off the wall questions .I spoke with Anna, Wendy and the veterinarian all-in-one phone call and each one of them were happy to speak with me and answer my questions and Concerns. I will never take my Charlie anywhere else because we already have a family like relationship established and I'm very grateful for that . so if you're looking for a team a family that is professional and caring then this is the place you would want to take your beloved animal. I feel confident in their expertise and the warm greeting is just the icing on the cake.

Love this vet! They really took care of my senior cat, and was very gentle with him. The staff and doctors are passionate about animals and Dr. Castillo was very open about my cat’s treatment plan. I am thankful that I found this vet hospital.

When my dog had a limp, I needed to find a vet to check her out. This was the second vet I tried to get an appointment at (they were more affordable and had an earlier availability even though you need to pre-pay for your appointment for $60.) We secured an appointment for the next day. Upon arrival, you need to wait in your car and call them that you have arrived. Then someone will bring you inside to see the vet when they are ready. Everyone I spoke to was super friendly to me and my dog too, of course. The entire process was comforting, clear, and easy. I didn’t feel pressured to spend more money than I needed to and felt very trusted to put my dog’s care in their hands. I wish I came here sooner and happy to have found a new go-to vet for my pup!

I had been going to La Palma vet hospital for over a decade and I can’t say enough how amazing the people are. Place is clean, very welcoming. The veterinarians are fair and respectful. They don’t overcharge and truly care for the animals. I have always felt safe and reassured to get my pets treated there. I drive over 45 min but it’s all worth it. Building a trustworthy relationship is more important to me than anything else and this is how I feel about this place. Highly recommend

I have been taking my dog here for 2+ years now. Great service, Great Dr. Angelo. The only small thing i would mention is that they actually have lunch breaks, but not showing on google profile. Had one mix up because of that. But still, highly recommended.

The staff at La Palma Veterinary Hospital was so kind, warm, and helpful. I dropped my kitten off for a spay and she’s doing wonderfully. The instructions they provided post surgery were clear and easy to follow. I am so grateful to the staff and doctor!

Recently took a cat to La Palma Veterinary Hosp. to be neutered. The staff was great, with clear instructions due to Covid restrictions. They took good care of Tucker, and he's doing great.

My first time ever going. I got a new puppy and all of a sudden he was sick. I called and the receptionist was so nice. She explained the charging process and squeezed me in same day. The vet was very helpful and friendly explaining everything for me. I got everything I needed! Friendly staff ❤️ This will be my new vet from now on

We have been clients of La Palma Vet Hospital for several years now and have always had wonderful service. Our many fur babies over the years have received only the best care. The staff are all knowledgeable, friendly and compassionate. Our particular favorite is Dr. Angelo and, before him, his father Dr. Andy.

I love this vet's office. The whole staff is wonderful, very friendly, and they all clearly love animals. Dr. Castillo is very caring and he doesn't push you to spend extra money on tests and meds unless needed. I love his thoughtful, kind, and conservative approach. He talks it all over with you. I first took our little rescue maltipoo Winston to Dr. Castillo when he was ill. Winston was 8 and had never been ill. He was treated so well and soon recovered. This summer he had his teeth cleaned and teeth extracted. We go in every 2 months for allergy injections and yearly for the annual exam.

We feel part of the family of Dr Castillo for more the 30 years. Always the best atención and care all my pets. Thanks Castillo family for be the best.

First time going with my kitty. I was able to make an appointment as soon as possible. All the staff were very friendly and explained everything to me. It’s very clean inside. I highly recommend. And the prices were cheap! :)
