We did the Princess Breakfast and had a wonderful time! Our waiter was amazing and provided great service. The food they bring out on platters was very tasty and fun to try. The buffet was AMAZING!! We find the COVID protocols with seeing the princesses to be quite awkward, but it was nice to still have the chance to take photos with princesses.

Absolutely my favorite meal for our DisneyLand trip. The wine pairings were absolutely delicious. This was a true Disney experience like what we've experienced in past visits to Disney World. Our waiter Michael was extremely knowledgeable and a lot of fun. Very attentive to the needs of our group. Thank you!

Came here for a brunch with the princesses event. This review is more for the event than the restaurant itself. If the format remains how we experienced it, then the high price per person isn’t really worth it if you’re not here with kids. As 2 adults we thought we’d have fun too, but the interaction you get to have with princesses is quite limited. You have to leave your food & drinks to go outside to wait in line to interact with different princesses. Unavoidably, everything gets cold when you get back. The food offerings also didn’t make up for the price in terms of options and variety, but all their berries tasted fantastic! Slightly sad that in the end, all kids get a takeaway gift, and only the bill for adults as souvenirs…

Napa Rose and the Princess breakfast was the perfect way to spend our last day at Disney! We had an exceptional experience with our grandkids (and their parents:). The whole experience from reservation - (we were fortunate enough to get a walk-up reservation), to food and Princess experience was Royal! It was so amazing to have the princesses all to ourselves and experience the Disney magic!

Upscale premiere restaurant located in the Grand Californian. Dress is business casual. Beautiful dining room and lounge. Can order either ala carte or Vintner's prix fixed menu. Recommend the Vintner's if first dining. Had delicious scallop, salmon, fillet mignon, and chocolate pistachio dessert-very rich and so good! Also recommend you order the Foccaia bread round. Comes with 3 dipping sauces and can easily take it with it. One of the best breads we had during our visit. Service is excellent. Allow a minimum of 2 hours for visit and each course is served slowly so you can enjoy your food. Reservations are required and best obtainable if you book 60 days out from date you wish to visit. Probably one of the best restaurants in the Disneyland complex!

An amazing restaurant. Everything I've had the pleasure to try is delicious and perfectly prepared. The Chef's Counter experience is definitely worth trying, if you are able to get a reservation for it, but even a normal reservation won't disappoint in getting to enjoy one of the best meals and service you can experience in the Disneyland Resort. It's like getting to dine at Club 33, without needing the membership or a park ticket to get in!

Never disappointed. Our server Issaac was amazing along with Chef Bryan who made sure our experience at the chef counter was one to remember. Food was top rated and the way they blended flavors in each dish along with the wine pairings was very special. Highly recommend!!!

If you’re looking for fine-dining at its finest, there’s no need to traverse the globe. The Napa Rose at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel is without a doubt in the top five restaurants I’ve eaten at in the world. Having dined there three nights in a row during my stay at the hotel, and having worked my way across the menu during that time, I can honestly say that the chefs and kitchen team here have a unique kind of magic all their own. I’m talking the freshest seasonal ingredients, amazing counterbalances of flavors and textures, stunning presentation, and creativity combined with execution at the absolute highest level. If you’re a fan of luxurious, unique, deeply flavorful food, you simply must make the journey here. Just as one would pair the perfect wine with an excellent entree, the Napa Rose also pairs exceptional cuisine with a sensational staff. To start with, Michael M is just a delight, very knowledgable, extremely attentive, and a top-tier server in every respect. Also at the Napa Rose you have Christina, Roberto, Rodrigo, Irvin, another Michael, and Dee who are service superstars. Their warmth rivals the hot food coming out of the stellar kitchen. And their efficiency in terms of speed and keeping the flow of dinner going rivals the smoothest flow of the most well-oiled ride at either theme park. A very special standout at the restaurant that needs noticing though is Julio. He does not just know every inch of the Napa Rose menu; he knows every centimeter. His expertise on the chef’s creations, pairings, and flavors allows him to speak with confidence and clarity about every item offered at the fabulous restaurant. His attentiveness and amazing attitude paired with the truly unbelievable food made my whole Napa Rose experience unforgettable. I would use the Aladdin line about him being a “Diamond in the rough,” but everyone at the restaurant is so spectacular that there is no rough at all. Everywhere you look there are diamonds; Julio is just one who gleams with the brightest of them. I look forward to enjoying more of the chef’s immaculate, unrivaled culinary triumphs in the future in this wonderful atmosphere.

Our server told us the prefix menu changes every Friday. They also offer an a la carte menu. It is a wine forward restaurant, but their cocktails were absolutely delicious and our server asked us a few questions and gave us personalized suggestions. It's a great place to celebrate in a classy way. I would also recommend it for date night. Our server told us that the head chef, Andrew Sutton is also the head chef at Carthay Circle and Club 33.

Rodney was our server and was absolutely amazing! The first course scallop was cooked PERFECTLY and was so fresh! The duck confit for the second course had the most wonderfully crispy skin and my third course the pheasant absolutely blew my mind. It was so tender and flavorful!!! The warm pear upside down butter cake was the perfect way to end an unforgettable meal! Worth the effort for reservation!!

We've been dining at Napa Rose for more than 20 years, since the hotel and park opened. There were a few off years recently, but the restaurant is back at the top again. If you want fine dining at the Disneyland resort, nothing else comes close. The current menu is a great mix of flavors. Highly recommend the pork chop and the Smiling Tiger Salad.

The food could only be described as excellent. Nothing I tasted seemed even slightly off .The service was incredibly attentive. The main dining room was surprisingly quiet for its size (and the large kitchen in it) which allowed for casual conversation. This restaurant is quite expensive, so these are expected. Good choice for a very special occasion.

The Shrimp is really good. However give overall 3 star due to the bad services (including the manager). Very very very slow on the payment (which they took 30 mins to process and they are not apologetic at all) caused us missed out firework.. despite we chase them to be faster, they still very slow and not apologetic.

For so many years, Napa Rose has been our go-to favorite, and I can't believe I haven't written a review yet! Nestled within the Grand Californian Hotel at the Disneyland Resort, this gem never fails to impress. The service is consistently exceptional, a testament to their well-staffed team. Every cast member exudes knowledge and a level of attentiveness that adds an extra layer of enjoyment to the experience. We've found ourselves gravitating towards the bar, where the craft cocktails are of course supreme. Each sip is a delightful journey through flavor, hitting all the right notes. The vibes at Napa Rose strike a perfect balance between chill and upscale, creating an ambiance that sets it apart from the bustling theme parks. Over the years, we've had the pleasure of meeting some fantastic Disney fans right here. The conversations sparked in this space have been nothing short of magical. Whether you're a regular visitor or a first-timer, Napa Rose manages to capture the essence of what makes dining at the Disneyland Resort a truly enchanting experience. Here's to many more years of delightful memories at this culinary haven!

Incredible experience at the Chef's Table dinner! Even got to chat a bit with Chef Sutton, which was really cool. All of the chefs are kind and really passionate about their jobs, which shows! The food was out of this world amazing! And the wine pairing was A+. Highly recommend this experience if you can snag a reservation!

Got to eat at the chef's table and had a fabulous time! All the chefs were super friendly and showed us everything they were making and answered all our questions. Plus our one of kind meal was incredibly delicious! The Sommelier paired wines to perfectly match the meal

We did the Disney Princess Breakfast Adventure.. Nothing else compares. This is the creme de la creme, the gold standard. The food is exquisite, the service is perfect, and the memories you will make with your kids will be unforgettable. It is not cheap, but if you have the means, I highly recommend this experience! Expect to spend well over $125 per person. Our server Danny was a treat as well as all the rest of the staff. Everyone is so upbeat and make the experience so wonderful.

Had a wonderful dinner here while staying at the Grand Californian. The food was superb! Service was good but not great, but the ambience could have been more refined. Too bright lights and noisy. They did offer corkage of GHR wine we brought for $25 per bottle. Again, the food was excellent and worth the fairly high prices.

Absolutely wonderful dining experience. We used a 50% Dining Coupon, and when telling our server that we will be using said coupon, the service usually takes a nosedive. THAT WAS NOT THE CASE with our Server Brett. He was extraordinarily friendly and helpful with everything. The menu does change based on what's in season, which is amazing for those who are a little more adventurous with what you would like to eat. You can alternatively order from an a-la-carte menu as well. My girlfriend and I did the pre-fix menu and everything was cooked perfectly. I firmly believe this is the best Disney Restaurant on Land, (cruise line is a different story). Napa Rose is an absolutely must-do dinner without the kids. If you appreciate culinary at any level, you have to dine here.

This is my favorite restaurant at Disneyland and though it’s a splurge it’s always totally worth it. The menu is updated as seasons change and this time I ordered Masutake mushroom soup with 2 egg yolk dumplings (smooth intense flavor- delicious), Berkshire pork with lemongrass Asian pear (perfectly cooked and love the pear with pork), Valrhona Manjari chocolate macadamia nougat bar (such deep chocolate flavor and super decadent!). My waiter was super attentive but not in an annoying way and I love that they are so knowledgeable about the food on the menu and sound passionate about it. If you can’t get reservations do try the bar or walk up!

This restaurant was everything I expected from a place as revered as this. Be mindful when going as menu items change and some items add up to a bigger check. That being said, the service and atmosphere were amazing from the get-go. The food was spectacular and the wines offered were great. I highly recommend to put a reservation to this place when you are available to do so and save up for a grand experience. The time never felt wasted and it was a great way to enhance my Disneyland experience. Would highly recommend for anyone interested in coming.

We go here every year and have always had a wonderful meal and a great time. This was the first time things were just not as great. The service was fine, but not above and beyond as it has been and should be with the prices being paid. We were seated nearly an hour after our reservation time without as much as a "sorry for the delay". The food also was really a step down from past years. Honestly the step down in everything is what has happened across everything at the parks, it's really a pity that it has affected Napa Rose as well.

Warm atmosphere with seasoned servers serving up favorite dishes in new ways, including the smiling tiger sald with 2 hushpuppies, a mushroom soup cappuccino, duck shepard pie, salmon and clams, and a to-die-for filet mignon. Desserts were a pear crisp with berries and a hot drinking chocolate that reminded me of what I had in a nearby Milan village 20 years ago.

I managed to get reservations for the second seating on 12/3. Prior to the shutdown, we would eat at the Chef’s counter, since reopening, the counter is only the weekends and in high demand.. Once at the hotel, we were able to valet park. I like how the cast members at the gate welcome you to the Hotel. If you are there 5 hours or less and get you valet ticket validated, your parking is free. The lobby of the Grand Californian was packed. There were singers , pictures with Santa and just a lot of people. We managed to order drinks while we waited. I enjoyed the hibiscus punch. We probably got seated 15 minutes after our reservation (first seating diners). We closed out the restaurant. The service was excellent! We ordered the Chef’s menu They ask about food allergies and made adjustments accordingly. I had a sweet potato ravioli, while my brother and sister n law had butter nut squash ravioli . My husband had the fish, I opted for the beef. The Chef’s menu is $125/person. You can include the wine flight with each course. ( maybe $110). I ordered by the glass and had the Riesling. I like sweet with savory Prior to the shutdown, there was bread service.with fabulous lavash that was included with the meal now you can purchase some focaccia with butter baked on demand. I had the chocolate option for dessert with hot tea. They only have English Breakfast last time I had Earl Grey. We were not disappointed with dinner, yes it expensive but will not break the bank.

Our first time at Napa Rose. The atmosphere and the service was amazing. The servers are the ones that make any place great. Here the CM's deserve all the respect and credit. 🌟 Thank you Nico and Mickey!

Awesome dining experience. Ate at the counter looking into kitchen. Chatted with executive chef, sous chef and Disney Fine Dining Director Sutton. Food was excellent as well as the service.

Strolled into Napa Rose for dinner while at Disney for a work conference. I had the best time due to the bartender, Joe. He makes GREAT drinks and is fun and kind. As for the food, it was good not great. It seems as though there is a lot of potential that falls to the waist side. Specifically the fish was over cooked, so much so I had to send it back twice and than ended up with the food I took a photo with. Again, there is a lot of potential for the food but wasn’t as great as it could have been.

Every plate was extraordinary and the variety of flavors and meats was great. The service was impeccable and drinks were strong but balanced. One of the best fine dining experiences we have had.
