These guys know their stuff! I got there 10 minutes early and they saw me minutes after that! The nurse was calm, kind, and very informative. She thoroughly talked through my history and immunization options and gave her recommendations tailored to my travel destination. Not only did I receive tons of information in person, but I was sent home with a comprehensive packet with further information and tips. She answered all my questions patiently (I always have many!) and left me feeling so much more confident and prepared about my trip to Uganda! I highly recommend this place. *Filling our the information form online and bringing your immunization records helps speed up the process. The parking structure here is a downside because it is so expensive ($2.75 per 15 min

I scheduled an appointment to get the yellow fever vaccine since it was required for the Peace Corps. The day before my appointment I get a call telling that the location I chose does not have the vaccine even though no where on the website does it say this. I explain that it is the sole reason for my visit. They offered a couple times at the other location which I could not make. They said that I would be charged $80 regardless because it was such short notice to cancel the appointment. I was very upset and explained that it was not my fault that they were only realizing this now the day before my appointment. They then said that I could go to my original appointment for the consultation then head over to another office to get the vaccine. I agreed. I ended up paying $80 to talk to the woman for 7 minutes only to be sent for a 45 min drive to the other office where I received the shot that was the only reason for my appointment. The vaccine was $250 which is probably out of their control but still would have been good to know. The woman that administered the vaccine was very nice and efficient and the ladies in the second office were helpful but overall the experience was really bad. The limited location for the yellow fever vaccine needs to be posted on the website and checked when appointments are made online. Also being forced to pay an $80 consultation fee for a 7 minute conversation when all I needed was a vaccine that took 2 minutes is obscene. *They called me the next day to tell me that the vaccine availability was posted on their website on the bottom of the home page. Not at all understanding and basically said it was my fault for going to the vaccine page instead of scrolling to the bottom of the home page*

horrible, vindictive people. they seem only to care about their convenience. don't dare question them (even politely) because all of a sudden their policies and available services mysteriously become unavailable and they suddenly remember that many many people are actually waiting ahead of you despite the office being empty. I have an appointment for next week that I'm not going to any more because I truly fear some sort of retaliation for asking a question. nurse goes from zero to 100 on the anger scale. but if you like a combative medical experience this is the place for you!

I generally like passport health the 2 times I've been. Connecticut wasn't as expensive as LA. If I has known I can get most of these vaccines from CVS, I would have used them instead. I found the woman at the front desk less patient when I was trying to figure out what I actually needed & how I could save money. Pros: 1. They have more info on travel needs so the $80 appt is helpful 2. I was able to make a last minute appointment which was helpful 3. The nurse answers questions and can submit prescriptions to your pharmacy quickly. Recommendations: 1. If you have months to prepare, get key vaccines from your dr using insurance to reduce cost. My original estimate was $700 and I opted for 3 series vax instead of 2 to bring it down to a $600 range. I'm a little upset UCLA didn't recommend checking CVS also. 2. Check CVS for key vaccines (Typhoid, Td, hep A, hep B, flu, covid 19, etc.. ) first and see if they use your insurance. They may do MMR testing, but I'm not sure. 3. Passport health can check blood levels of antibodies for hep with a few days turn around. Be sure to get the right quote. I was told $100 and then $45. 4. Passport health will submit to your insurance, but not track claims. I'm not familiar with the appropriate terminology. Contact them. They don't accept insurance. 5. The prices for the, bug repellant spray, Assure/travelban supplement, diaresQ & immodium seem inflated. REI sells a large bug repellant spray for clothing for $17 vs PH's $35. Travelban which seems like a probiotic is currently about $29 on Amazon and possibly $35 at passport health. I previously bought the package when the vaccine cost wasn't so high to save some shopping steps since my trips have been more last minute. It's not bad and I will use them in the future, especially if I need a yellow fever vaccine, but I will walk into it a little more prepared next time. I like the vaccine reminders and digital record. Not all health groups are good at that.

This place is carrying, the staff is wonderful and they take their time in properly evaluating folks, pertaining their travel needs. I highly recommend this place for folks who need travel vaccinations, preventative malaria medication, or travel supplies. A nice bonus is that they also provide embassy emergency contact for each country one visits. Really cool! Parking on Wilshire can be tough, but the building has a parking garage where one can park and easily access the building. Be aware that parking is currently not being validated, as the parking is managed independently.

Very knowledgeable staff and great service. The high consultation fee and vaccination costs should be disclosed before the appointment is made. I'm glad that I received both services, and would only use the service again as a last resort if there are time constraints and treatment from my out of state healthcare provider is not feasible.

I went to Passport Health because they have the Flublok flu shot, which is considered a more vegan friendly option. It was easy to make an appointment and I was in and out relatively quick. However, their communication and customer service is very poor. They don't take insurance, and I was quoted $60 over the phone. After scheduling the appointment, I received a confirmation email every day until my appointment, informing me that there's an $80 service fee...however this information was at the very bottom of the email so I didn't catch it immediately. I called to ask about the fee, and it was informed that it does not apply to flu shots. When I went into my appointment, I informed them in person that the boilerplate email is confusing because it indicates there's an additional fee when that does not apply to all customers and that they should consider updating it. My suggestion was annoyingly received and I was waived off as if I should not have be bothering them with this info. Additionally, I was informed that the $60 quote was actually last year's rate and they would be charging me $75. The quote was 12 months out of date at this point. They said they would not honor the quote that they gave me over the phone, but agreed to reduce the charge to $70.

Came in for a vaccination. Was on time for my appointment and had to wait an hour for the nurse to even show up. Parking is almost $3 every fifteen minutes, and they don’t validate, so I had to pay almost $15 once I left. I asked for a proof of vaccination card since apparently it takes 4-6 weeks for it be posted online, and they didn’t know where they kept them. Left without anything showing I’m vaccinated. Lastly, what’s the point in making us do the online pre-screen survey if they make you fill out the same paperwork in-person again?

This place is friendly, efficient and informative. The nurse had all of our printouts ready for recommended vaccinations. She was very knowledgeable and explained everything clearly. Passport Health also bills your insurance for you since you have to pay them up front. I look forward to receiving some reimbursement from my insurance company. Thank you Passport Health! I highly recommend this to everyone who is traveling abroad and needs vaccines.

I had a great experience at Passport Health. First, I was taken right on time. The receptionist was welcoming. My nurse was very helpful. She knew I was there for one shot and while she reviewed my immunization record and explained other immunizations I may have wanted to consider, I never felt pressured to buy more than I needed or wanted. My nurse also showed me a very informative travel video that provided lots of helpful tips for traveling abroad. My experience at Passport Health was pleasant and helpful.

Passport health was amazing. Highly recommend. We were running late due to heavy traffic and they still took us right in and we’re super understanding. We got out travel shots and the nurse was very helpful and experienced.

Punctual, warm, engaging, attentive support; very conveniently located with free parking and most importantly, a very knowledgeable, well-informed professional who demonstrated -first and foremost- concern for my well being. Grateful.

I needed to get some travel vaccinations and called around to a few places. This was the only place I found in LA with the Yellow fever vaccination. Heidi helped me on the phone and she was extremely helpful and able to get me in the next afternoon. I even expressed that I preferred a morning appointment and she called back later Bc of a canceled appointment. I thought that was very thoughtful. The office was clean and well decorated. Loved the wallpaper haha. The nurse was absolutely wonderful. Put in so much time and care to make sure she answered all my questions. I also was surprised they made a booklet for me to reference. Did not expect such a luxurious office visit but it was very pleasant and I appreciated it :)

Came here last minute yesterday to take a COVID test for Croatia. This place got my test result emailed to me in exactly 24 hours as the lady had promised! Highly recommend this place especially if you're going to need a nasopharyngeal PCR test processed quick (i.e. Croatia's requirements) and not just a nasal swab as other labs do.

Came here for a pre-travel COVID test that I needed within 72 hours before my flight's international departure. The clinic staff and doctors were incredibly helpful + responsive and got my test turned around in about 24 hours, even on New Year's weekend. Highly recommend this place for anyone else needing a <72 hour turnaround on pre-travel covid testing.

Showed up for appointment (for immigration medical exam) and was seen exactly on time. finished with blood draw and consult with doctor + booster shots within half an hour! Service was very quick and easy. Dr Terashita was very helpful and advised on what extra forms were needed in advance so I could save time getting the I693 ready for submission asap. Did have to pay out of pocket for additional booster shot but was informed of this before my appointment so it was fine.
