The
staff
was
wonderful.
5
stars
for
the
man
who
helped
us
to
our
room
and
checked
us
in
late
at
night.
Everything
else
however...
We
paid
$130
a
night
in
advance,
as
it
was
the
most
affordable
in
the
area
for
the
night.
Upon
arrival,
they
were
offering
vacancies
for
$90
a
night.
We
asked
why
the
price
was
so
much
lower
and
he
claimed
it
was
because
we
were
in
a
newly
renovated,
upgraded
room.
This
got
our
hopes
up
about
the
quality,
but
we
were
very
wrong.
The
room
ended
up
being
on
the
very
end
of
the
hotel,
overlooking
the
road.
The
last
room
at
the
end
-
far
away
from
the
main
U-shaped
block
of
rooms.
This
meant
that
the
room
was
very
loud
at
night
from
the
busy
road
traffic,
and
the
wifi
did
not
reach.
There
was
no
elevator
and
the
stairs
were
very
slippery
in
the
rain
(which,
given
how
often
it
rains
here
is
a
big
issue).
I
was
in
a
walking
cast
and
had
issues
getting
up
and
down
safely.
We
also
had
trouble
getting
hot
water
-
I'm
assuming
we
were
quite
far
from
the
water
heaters
as
well.
Once
we
got
it
going
it
seemed
fine,
but
we
had
to
run
the
water
for
quite
some
time.
The
pillows
didn't
smell
very
clean,
so
we
had
to
cover
them
with
our
own
personal
belongings.
They
also
had
decorative
throw
pillows
that
didn't
appear
to
have
ever
been
washed.
The
furniture
was
weird
-
like
cheap
outdoor
patio
furniture
instead
of
indoor
furniture,
and
a
folding
guest
bed
instead
of
a
proper
frame
and
mattress.
All
this
*might*
be
passable
for
a
very
cheap
motel,
but
definitely
not
worth
$130/night.
Huge
props
to
the
staff
for
being
awesome
despite
it
all.
I
can't
imagine
they
get
very
many
good
reviews.
