Delicious food and amazing service! The lady at the counter is omega friendly and I love how they also ask if you have any allergies or any kind of diet concerns. Not to mention the empathy they showed towards our little when she was freaking out over a bee. Clean food, delicious and huge servings. Get the brisket!!

Highly recommend. After we rented bikes on our first day in Anchorage we wanted something to eat. With an hour and a half wait and one place we stood outside debating what to do when a local said you need to try El Green Gos and took us over there (she was heading over herself) oh my goodness what a delight! When we planned our trip to Alaska we did not expect to find this little gem! Friendly service and the BEST food! We promptly texted a photo our friends who we had travelled with a picture of our food and the address so they could head over. We thoroughly enjoyed everything. It was very fresh and tasty. Great home made sauces, crunchy veggies (salad items). It was beautiful. A week later heading back to the airport after our Alaska trip we stopped in again for lunch and enjoyed it just as much as the first time. We had an amazing Alaska adventure when we get home to Michigan and reminisce we will remember this meal.

Exceptional customer service and exceptional food. Was just in town for one night and so glad to have stopped here for dinner. I got a vegan burrito and enjoyed every bite. It was great value for what it was worth, and definitely a place I would recommend. Thanks for a delicious meal!

We stopped in after hiking. We had some amazing salmon tacos which they just took out the salmon from the smoker. We ordered fish tacos, nachos, and a burrito (not pictured). The nachos and burrito you could definitely split and if you wanted a quick snack then split the tacos. Definitely recommend!

Awesome service, great location and straight bangin food. Highly recommend the wet brisket Burrito. The sloppier the better is what i always say. Fish was a little dry in the street taco and the hot coco could have been richer and creamier.

Stumbled across this place as we walked out from breakfast across the street. Couldn't miss the smoker outside. So we made plans to come back for dinner! A friendly bunch of folks and of course the place has that cool food truck / diner kind of vibe. Ordered the brisket tacos and they were very good. The meat was tasty, no fat, if maybe a little tough. Though it was 6:00 PM and we walked by the smoker at 9:00 AM. A lot happens in 8 hours. Outside dining with picnic tables w/umbrellas:)

We stopped at El Green-Go's to try some of their tacos. This restaurant is a food truck. Their giant smoker is running next to the truck, and there and three wooden patio tables for seating. We walked up looking for tacos in a light Anchorage rain storm. Only one of the patio tables has an umbrella. We ordered the salmon tacos (pictured) with some chips and guacamole. The tacos were substantial and tasty. I would recommend El Green-Go's if you're in the neighborhood and feel like some tacos!

I never do reviews but I loved this place. They were so nice and organized and were very helpful about suggesting features I missed on the menu, like wetting the burrito with a sauce. They have dairy free accommodations which is so nice!! Also they gave me free chips. Love!

First night in anchorage and needed some food quick. Found this by accident. It’s a cabin with a few outside tables but most just pick up and go. Only had a pork burrito to share but it was pretty tasty. They have a smoker. The pork was v good. Staff friendly, top notch experience. Would return.

El Green Go’s is hands down the best and freshest food downtown. Everything can be made vegan or gluten free, which makes it a great place for people with dietary restrictions. My favorite is the Green-Go’s Tacos with smoked tofu. Molequiles on Fridays and Saturdays is the bomb!

We actually were planning on eating at another restaurant nearby but were lured to this one by the smell of salmon in the smoker. So glad we changed course! Everything on the menu looked amazing and the three entrees my group ordered were outstanding. The cashier was friendly and helped us weigh the pros and cons of all the choices, the seating area was spacious, and even the portapottie was clean! All the options (except breakfast sandwiches) can be made gluten free and everything can be made dairy free.

Great tacos and service! Some of the better tacos in anchorage, nice tender fish and smoky flavor profiles. Tortilla chips could be a touch better but otherwise was very tasty!

An unexpected treasure! Possibly the best food we've had in Alaska. Delicious, flavorful, generous, and complemented by excellent and cheerful service. Will definitely visit more than once during our 5-day stay in Anchorage.

Pretty amazing spot for some street tacos, right off the street! Their burritos are really good and, if available, ask for the rainbow smothered burrito! It's all of their sauces covering the top and it's a great mix of flavors. We got a salmon and chicken street taco with chicken burritos in rainbow sauce. They're know for adding there jalapeΓ±o friche sauce in everything and for good reason. It makes everything better. The only thing greater than their food is the hospitality! The lady that runs the place loves getting to know the customers and I think the dish drop-off bin is strategically placed by her window so she can check on you when you're done eating πŸ˜„

Super tasty tacos! We had the green-go halibut tacos, street salmon tacos, and street tofu tacos. All of them were really good, but our favorite was the halibut. Friendly staff, too! Highly recommend.

Delicious fresh food, large portions, and cheerful service. Picnic tables and umbrellas available, but I can't give a 5 for atmosphere when you eat next to parking lot.

Best burrito I have ever had. Went for a fish tacos, but they were out of fish. Really glad they were, or I wouldn't have tried the Holy Mole burrito. Really great atmosphere, really friendly folk. Highly recommended! Be aware that one burrito can easily feed two.

I am an out of town visitor and I want to take this place with me! I had a pork burrito with mole sauce and it was outstanding. The meat is smoked on site and was tender and flavorful. The burrito was huge and easily enough for two meals for me. I highly recommend.

Great food, but if you will eat here, definitely order ahead. I was first in line when they opened at 1100 and still had to wait 35min to get my order. I ordered a brisket burrito, and they said they had to wait to make it because they can only make them in pairs. ? Again one of the best burritos in Anchorage, though.

I wanted something local so I figured a food truck that served Alaskan smoked salmon tacos where the salmon was being smoked right at the food truck would fit the bill! I knew I made the right decision before I even tasted them because of the amazing smoky aroma which wafted in my direction as I got closer. Friendly, helpful guy took my order and explained it may be a few minutes as the fish was literally still smoking… but it was worth the wait. Absolutely delicious!!

Simple little permanent food truck. Amazing food, easy service. My wife said the street tacos were the best tacos she's ever eaten in her entire life.
