We hiked some trails here to kill time before our flight out of Anchorage. It was beautiful and I'm so glad we went because we were able to see some amazing views and I finally got to see a couple moose at a fairly close range. It was incredible.

The early morning hike was refreshing and the scenery was beautiful. We went in August on a crisp 50 F morning and saw a moose grazing right next to the road! At first I thought, 'that can't be a real moose' then he lifted his head, acknowledged our presence, and went back to grazing. After that we walked down toward the camping area and watched the sun rise throughthe trees. We tried to get close to the water, but never found the right trail. 10/10 I would do it again.

Overall pretty nice place to go. Be prepared to encounter wildlife. We saw three black bears and a bull moose on our bike ride. Be nice to see more restroom facilities.

Cool views. There's a soccer field but not much else to do. It was the end point to our bikeride along the Coastal trail. ...a few pics and turnaround and ride back...

Beautiful big park right near the airport with loads of trails, playground areas, and wooded forest. There was a bicycle race going on when we visited, so parking was limited but normally there is plenty of parking available.

Great opportunity to see moose and bear. The disc golf course has some great views along the way. Definitely lost a couple discs. One moment you're on the course next moment it's Jumanji.

One of the most BEAUTIFUL places in anchorage Alaska! Rhe view of the mountains and the inlet waters.. I was waiting for an oil painting to be made. I brought the kids to go sleeding. It has multiple hills for beginners to expert. We had a blast!!!

A beautiful park, the biggest in Anchorage. This park offers soccer fields, berry picking, biking trails, horseback riding trails, beach access, all with a short walk. The wildlife is packed here so be careful, but you're safe.

Only had a short time to visit… wished we had all day. The coastline trail is stunning. Saw a young moose as we were leaving the park. Many beautiful trees and vegetation in park. Beautiful lawns.

So happy we explored this park. It was a beautiful place and our surprise of moose popping out was awesome. Spent some time down at the beach access point ( tony Knowles coastal trail).

Cross-country skiing in the winter and bike in the summer. Well established trail system connects to the coastal trail. The sand dune and the beach access are cool features. Lots of urban moose in the park. Can see moose calves in May.

Huge park; plenty to do & see. Good for cycling, whether you're a family with smaller children or an avid cyclist. We saw a young bull moose on our last visit, so do keep an eye out for wildlife.

Nice easy hike within Uber distance of anchorage. Went in off season and there's only one all purpose trail (the rest are for skiis). There were a lot of dog droppings near the beginning :/

Beautiful sprawling park with playground, soccer fields, and a lot of cross country trails. Not good beach access, but still a nice community park.

I love this park! There are so many trails, and making it to the beach is amazing! The single tracks for bikes are awesome!

Enjoyed a couple hours here with my family. Tons of trails! There was a moose there but we didn't see it. The beach views are pretty awesome. Mosquitos abound so prepare. Parking was plentiful!

This is an incredible venue for a 300 person event. Beautiful views with a solid commercial kitchen, and multiple room options. Fun to have cross country skiers & moose tracking around outside as airplanes take off and land just over the water nearby.

Absolutely gorgeous place to take my out of town friend XC skiing. Love the illuminated trails. Nobody there when we went, about 7 pm on Monday.

What a fantastic park! Moose are hiding all over! And easy hikes and biking for all ages. Plus you actually feel like your NOT in a park! Very well done Alaska!

My wife and i rented bikes and rode the trail on our last day in Alaska. This is a beautiful trail with lots of trees bordering the water. We saw a black bear and and a mama moose. The trail was a little over 11 miles one way. If you like watching planes land and take off, you can enjoy its proximity to the airport! I highly recommend for walkers, joggers and bike riders!

Not many people on the trail as it was supposed to rain. Great place to bring your pets. Also saw a moose.

Huge. I'm used to parks that you can circle in an hour or two, but you could spend a few days exploring this area. Very nice, wide variety of trails and terrain, and you can walk to the water's edge.

Expansive Park with miles of trails for walking, biking, and skiing, plus sports fields, disc golf, and wildlife. Beach access and trails near the airport approach add extra fun to the experience. There is enough space and areas to explore that you could go multiple times and never see the same area if you want.

We love Kincaid Park. It's beautiful, lots of trails, and there's lots of people on the trail so you are safe. I've gone here so many times from everything to races, to bike, to go down to the beaches, for rollerblading, cross-country skiing in the winter. This is one of the best things Anchorage has to offer. Love this trail. Just be very mindful of moose.

An old missile base converted to a park. Great place to walk, bike, cross country ski, or even play a round of disc golf. Keep an eye out for moose.
