I stayed here lastnight. It was an experience. When I first arrived, I noticed they value the guests privacy. You have to ring a doorbell to get buzzed in where they very kindly ask β€œwho are you and why are you here”. Instead of nasty bleach and cleaner smell, they deodorize the air with a nice pungeant scent of stale cigarette smoke to keep it more natural. When going into the room, there was a nice open single pane window view of the people that live in the parking lot next door. They are wonderful about avoiding a lot of waste. They keep bars of soap in the showers previously used by the last guest. The hair on it was a wonderful touch. I was a little bummed out to not find any blood stains in there but, ALAS! I found a couple right next to my bed the next morning so everything was fine. The employees like to let everyone know they are there for them in the middle of the night by shouting at the more permanent tenants all night to make sure we are all safe and sound. While leaving, I got greeted by a wonderful couple that wanted to tussle with me after I saw them drop a bag of what looked like to be pure cane sugar. Must’ve been saving it for their coffee. All in all, 5 stars!

This was the grossest hotel I have ever walked into. Took 5 min just to get through the door with the sign outside stating the need to a $10 visitation fee, if you do not have a reservation. Then charged me extra to have own bathroom, they were kind enough to request the nicer comforter & pillows for me but they had to change them out prior to me going upstairs. Which meant more time waiting. I was in my room 10 min when I had the realization I would have bed bugs by nights end, probably mugged or assaulted my the next morning. I couldn't even get out immediately the door had an internal locking mechanism & the other door was padlocks from the inside. Even my Uber driver didn't want to pick anyone up from this establishment. No one should ever be subjected to this place. Do not believe Expedia & their advertising photos. False advertising!

I think this place is a halfway house or something now. Booked online through Expedia. When I showed up there was a handwritten sign saying to β€œgo away unless you have your $10 fee.”(??) Not a good start. Then I rang the bell and some guy asked me what I wanted. I said I had a reservation and he hung up. I rang again after a few minutes. No answer. Had to go find another hotel to stay in for the night. They probably did me a favor. The place looked beyond sketchy. Don’t stay here.

Please do not stay in this Hotel, it is dirty, smell horrible. This place looks like something wrong is goin on there, a lot of people with disoriented reactions. I spend one night there because I did not have any other choice. I did Not sleep, it is unsafe.

Absolutely disgusting. This place is by far the most ghetto hotel I have ever seen. I booked it through Expedia and the lady behind the desk gave me an exceptional amount of attitude because the room wasn’t ready at 5pm.. there was some commotion over the fact that the room had been wrecked, which she explained wasn’t even purchased the night before, meaning they have no control on who enters and leaves. I left almost immediately but not before some junkies gathered around the front and started banging on the door, demanding they were let in. Avoid at all costs.

Please sell this hotel to me! how could anyone treat a property so terribly, carpets haven't been vacuumed in years, walls are dirty, bathrooms dirty, towels are like sandpaper. The hotel is loud and homeless people are inside and out just loitering all day and night. The Staff also lives on site and is loud up all night with friends just roaming around the place making noise too.

I am a traveler with low standards but this was an all time worst. I booked a room here because it was affordable and claimed to have a free airport shuttle. When I called the front desk after booking, they said they didn't have a shuttle and the owner didn't take it down on purpose. They promised they would reimburse me for my taxi, but when I arrived said they don't do that on top of being very rude at check in. There was also an extra $50 charge on top of the room cost as a deposit I don't know if I'll get back. When I showed up there was very open hard drug and alcohol use both inside and around the building. Facilities were dirty and my bed wasn't made when I arrived. The sheets, bed cover, and pillow they gave me were very stained and had cigarette burns. Holes in the walls, broken box spring, torn out smoke detector. I was on the bottom level and they gave me a stick to put in the window to deter people from trying to open it from th outside at night. The shared bathrooms were disgusting and had no toilet paper or soap, soggy trash scattered on the floor, and smelled like vomit. It was loud all night with banging on the walls and intoxicated yelling and felt unsafe to leave my room. Pay the extra money to stay anywhere else, I wish I had!!!

DO NOT STAY HERE! We left after 30 minutes because of how gross these rooms were. The pictures online are very misleading. Reeked of smoke and not in a good area. I was told that I was going to get refunded but I’ve yet to see that on my bank statement and of course no one answers the phone and the voicemail box is full. AVOID!

I would definitely stay away from this hotel. Workers are high all the time, and thieves stay here. My wallet was stolen, and I keep getting reports of my cards being used here even though they are canceled. The workers here can't seem to match the name of my debit cards with the name of the person staying here. Definetley low standards.

The room l stayed in was nothing like any of the pics. No pillowcase, no screen on window, no fan to move air, only 1 towel, no hand towel or wash cloth, floor not clean. Do not recommend.

Staff are rude and entitled. Residents come out rooms ND look at you ND whisper amongst themselves, very uncomfortable. Secured building, only good thing about it. We'll price is eight too. Vending machines is another plus. I there then that, I would t stay here.

There's a woman that works at this establishment that thinks she's God and threatens people on a daily basis. She has been known to spray people with bear mace, shoot at them through windows of the hotel, chase people off the property, enter rooms without asking permission of the renter, demanding to know who visitors are for no reason, among many other things. The owner of this business condones her behavior and it's disgusting. Please do not give your hard-earned money to this business. If it all possible find another place to spend your money and lay your head at night. You'll be a lot safer and you won't contribute to the abuse the owner has allowed to happen by the hand of this woman in this business. This woman should be ashamed of herself. At least lose her job. She knows nothing about well-ran hotel procedures.

Very sketchy. If you are checking reviews don't stay here. Their clientele are not checking ratings.

Don't go . I've traveled all US and a lot around the world, and I usually stay at the cheapest places possible. This was the first place I really wanted to give 1 star rating. Was too late when I arrived at the airport so I didn't want to go and look for anything else. End up sleeping in my clothes all night. Didn't want to undress the whole place looked really bad. Read other ppl reviews before booking. Usually I don't care where to stay but this was too much..

Just stayed the night here. It is for sure sketchy, with a guy sleeping on a table in the hallway upstairs. Also it is obviously old and not in top repair. But if you think about it as less of a hotel and more of an urban adventure, it's actually pretty comfortable, and provided a good sleep and a hot shower at a much lower price than other spots in town. Surprisingly, no bedbugs! So that's a bonus that's better than some "nicer" places I've stayed. Not a great hotel, but a decent place to stay.

The rooms are horrible! But your privacy is privacy. Chris Kaepernik takes his dates there, he loves it!

It is the worst customer service staffed "hotel" I have ever stayed in. Very un professional, rude and falsely informed by some staff. I stayed for 2 days in a stinky, dirty, no toilet paper at all and not even a small trash can! Police sirens constantly and suspicious non resident people in and outside the building! The way i was handled in this Chelsea Inn Hotel was very brass and spoke to me in a salty attitude way. All in all i would give NO stars from me for this "hotel" but had to give 1 to be able to post my reveiw and never again bringing my buisness there.

Found out after arrival that it was a drug spot. OMG people were walking around knocking on doors at 2 and 3 a.m. I definitely won't stay there ever again!

Worst. I reserved online. They didn't have any rooms. And the front desk women, the worst customer service ever. Pay $10 get some better. Than 1/2 star motel. NO parking neither.

Sketchy, NOT family friendly! But it's a cheap motel and it will make do when you're passing through Anchorage for one night.

Very friendly people running the place, but I did observe weed and alcohol consumption by staff on the job. Also, there wasn't a free pick up service as advertised when we visited, and the rooms were very dirty (obviously had not been vacuumed in some time among other cleanliness problems). In addition, other travelers were a bit loud at night and one passed out in the lobby during the day due to drunkenness. While I do appreciate the service we received, I will not visit again.

It looked ok from outside, but I didn't go, that's why I only gave it 3 stars based on it's outside appearance.

My daughter stayed here with her BF and they moved out of there with bed bugs! Good grief.
