Krista, Kathryn and Rachel are wonderful Inn keepers. We stayed 8 nights in early May in the Denali room. The bed & breakfast is conveniently located to downtown, but in a secluded quiet residential neighborhood. The area is safe, park out front of the inn, no noisy street traffic. The breakfast each morning is superbly presented. Krista is attentive to individual needs according to diet restrictions ,etc. The snacks, drinks and treats each day are an added benefit. The inn is well appointed with lovely decor fit for an Alaskan experience. You can make yourself right at home by using everything from the kitchen, fridge, freezer, washing machine and Krista even provided us with bear spray and ice cleats. Krista can help you with discounts on tours in the area. Krista gave us recommendations to all kinds of restaurants and places to see. I have stayed at many B&B's from coast to coast... The Alaska House of Jade is at the top! I wouldn't stay anywhere else in the Anchorage area! It was hard to say goodbye after spending 8 days with them. I feel like we have an extended family now in AK, 100% Worth every penny.

Great stay here! Krista and her staff are very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast way exceeded my expectations as much of it is made in house and to order. Spacious rooms and the bed was very comfy. It was quiet and located in a nice neighborhood. I've traveled extensively and this is one of the best accommodations I've had. Highly recommended.

The Alaska House of Jade was such a beautiful find. This was my boyfriend and I's first trip to Alaska and though we only stayed for a night, it was the perfect place to start our journey. Krista was very welcoming, generous, warm, sweet and helpful. The decorations throughout the house were fun and intriguing. Our room was homey and super comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and gorgeous! I loved every bit of our stay at this house. Definitely recommend 100%!

Highly recommend staying at House of Jade. The hosts are the most generous and accommodating I’ve ever experienced and I’ve stayed at a LOT of places. The homemade breakfast was fresh and so delicious. Comfortable bedding and rooms with nice decorations. Can’t wait to return!

We booked a hotel in Anchorage and switched to the Alaska House of Jade after further research. Am super glad that we did. And also glad that we made this our base ( drove to Talkeetna for a day and Gridwood another day). We actually stayed for 4 nights. We were very comfortable, room super clean and beds made every morning. The decor had stories behind them. The flowers and garden show great care and love. Woke up to a sumptuous breakfast, drinks, coffee, tea available 24 hours. I am not a big fan of cookies but I looked forward to the variety of cookies and tea when we got back from our day’s adventures. Krista and Zack and Rachel were fabulous hosts. They were friendly, kind, super good communicators and tourist guides as well. Krista gave us tips on which trails to go to, which restaurants served great food. And she even offered to freeze our reindeer sausage until we got back from Seward. We definitely felt so welcome and at home. Thank you Krista, Zack and Rachel for sharing your home and kindness.

Unbelievable, hard to fault. Very inviting rooms in a wonderfully comfortable house extruding a welcoming ambience. Understandably one of the top accommodation spots in Anchorage. Highly recommend.

What an absolute gem to find! I needed a room before flying home after 7 months of working through the Alaskan winter. I turned up House of Jade on a search, determined not to stay at the generic chain hotels overbooked by cruise lines in downtown Anchorage. This spot is wonderful! It's cozy, in a quiet neighborhood, so much more peaceful than downtown. The rooms are clean, well-appointed, spacious and they bend over backwards to make your stay special, whether it's packing breakfast for an early departure (that I totally spaced out on grabbing), or hilarious conversation over chocolate cupcakes, you will NOT regret, nor will you forget your stay at Alaska House of Jade. One of my favorite finds in Anchorage!

Extremely happy with the room and service I experienced at House of Jade. The house is beautiful and located in a residential neighborhood so you feel safe and out of the "industrial" area. I had to check out before regular breakfast hours so the hosts were kind enough to call me a taxi in advance, and left a wonderful bagged breakfast in the fridge at no extra cost. I booked the Susitna room and found it was large, bright and private. Host and staff are friendly and available while still giving you space and privacy. Highly recommend this place for fellow solo travelers still getting their bearings.

Krista is THE BEST host. The home cooked breakfast and other homemade goodies are amazing. We felt comfortable from the moment we stepped in the front door. Very comfortable beds. Krista helped us by providing a quick list of things to do and see during our stay in Anchorage. We spent one evening sitting out on the beautiful deck among the gorgeous flowers and herbs, drinking wine taking in the scenery. Krista made us feel completely at home. I strongly recommend this B & B to anyone visiting Anchorage.

This was by far the best place I stayed at on my trip to Alaska. Krista and Zach were outstanding hosts. Even before I arrived Krista reached out to confirm my reservation, what time she should expect me and to see if I had any special needs. Then from the moment I arrived Krista and Zach were warm friendly, helpful, and welcoming, making me feel right at home. The room I stayed in was immaculate and extremely comfortable with a nice view of the deck and backyard. In the morning Krista prepared a substantial breakfast that was delicious. While I ate, Krista shared with me some guidebooks of the area making great suggestions as to where I should eat in downtown Anchorage and where I should stop to explore on my trip south to Seward. Krista and Zach really wanted to make my trip to Alaska special and they succeeded in doing so. I highly recommend staying at the House of Jade Bed and Breakfast with Krista and Zach when in Anchorage.

House was absolutely beautiful. My husband and I spent 1 night in a downstairs bedroom which was very clean,spacious and had a beautiful view. Krista was so welcoming and nice and made us feel at home. Breakfast was so delicious too! If you are looking for somewhere to stay, please consider this place. You won't regret it.

Very easy to follow directions for late check in, accommodating and friendly hosts, and nicely appointed comfortable rooms and bed. Beautiful gardens and home in a residential area. Krista even lent us bear spray and discs for disc golf. About 15 minutes out of downtown ($20 ride-share).

We stayed at the House of Jade one night of our Alaska vacation. It was the perfect little gem in Anchorage. Krista and Zack were excellent hosts! We were excited that our room had been upgraded and was the perfect space for our family of 4 (we have 2 children ages 11 and 4). The place was kid friendly, with lots of outdoor space to explore around the B&B. The breakfast we had there was by far the best meal that we had on the entire trip! We are gluten and dairy free, so appreciated the accommodations they made for breakfast. We had the absolute best scones! When we ever get back to Alaska, we will be back!
