Honestly I would give this place 0 stars if it was possible. Please please PLEASE do not stay here. They had cockroaches on the floor and in the walls, yes, in. There were holes in the walls and floor and even the ceiling. The tub was rusted to heck with a hole in it that revealed the ground underneath it. The Only window did not close all the way and the toilet didn't flush. The sheets and blankets were scratchy and thin. The carpet was burned?? And stained. When we'd gone to sleep (on top of the blankets) the carpet was clean (as in nothing on the ground) and woke up to a chicken bone and stale bread on the floor meaning something probably a rat or mouse had gotten into our room. Not to mention the door latch was broken. And I'm from a mostly poor family and this was my first hotel room experience ever but even i was disgusted.

Roches are the ones your paying to have the room!! The rooms were so clean. I'm thankful they thought of us when they left complementary silverware and canned food in cupboard

I cannot say anything good about this place, the very last time that I was in a room here, the carpet was so dirty that my shoes stuck to it. This is the homeless place used when they get a large amount money and never properly cleaned up after!!!

The Mush Inn doesn't have a great reputation, due in part to the infamous pest problem that has plagued this place for years and the fact that it's been known as a kind of last-ditch-gutter-one-night-stand spot for as long. But really, it's home to some good people -some down on their luck, others here to maybe save a few bucks- but all decent folks just tryin to get by in a town with a housing shortage and notoriously high rent averages. So...places like these fill a certain need. As for the pests, well I would guess that their entrenchment remains unconquered simply because of the sour-faced owner's unwillingness to improve the property- possibly out of a lack of business acumen- but the buildings almost certainly would need to be leveled anyway, and that wouldn't bode well for the people hanging on here. But hey, these old places are all fading away fast...stop on in and getcha a little rest in one of the last true roach motels left in town! *Disclaimer- I have not yet personaly had the pleasure of experiencing the hospitality of an overnight stay at the Mush Inn (unless you count sleeping in my vehicle while parked in the lot, which earned me the scornful derision of the aforementioned owner- the always pleasant Mister Lee.)

It was filled with budbugs and roache(I got eaten alive by the bedbugs), I was there for a month and gave them well of $1,000, stains in the floor and sheets when we got the room, we got the room heat treated once and the bugs came back the next day. They also made a big deal over our $50 course pet deposit and took half because of some dog hair(which they didnโ€™t give us time to clean). The staff(other then the owners) are fine. The whole hotel needs to be shut-down and fixed itโ€™s absolutely appalling that they are still open and making money with all the stuff wrong with it.

Very friendly staff and good service. Not a place to stay for long if you can help it, just better than being homeless. We did have an infestation problem with mice or rats idk which and rouches. Thankfully my room didn't have bedbugs like others, they did let us check the beds beforehand though. Cable TV great and internet was decent.

Rude girls in the office, especially, Tina. Her and the other girl were stingy with the ice in the ice machine. $1,500 to stay here for a month, and a $50 pet deposit. I was able to keep my pets in my room with me. That's the only good thing about my stay here. Brought my own cleaning supplies, room was dirty. Haven't experienced bedbugs since I've been here. Thank goodness for that. ***Thumbs down to the rude office girls here at Mush Inn!!!*** They were less than accomodating when management was not around!!! & yes, that was/is my worst experience about my stay here!!!

I have cousins from the village. They like coming to Anchorage to party and drink lots. It's not even a star. I told early it's negative 5 star. Not good for any body to go there

Bed had crumbs on it from previous people and we got eaten alive by bed bugs. Donโ€™t stay here unless you want extra friends to take home.
