We came a bit earlier than opening but the owner let us in as it was raining super heavily. Our first planned meal for the trip and it was an amazing start. Hajar who is the owner is also the chef. We had the hummus, chicken tajin and kofte tajin. Food was amazing on all fronts but the chicken tajin was the best of the lot. Appreciated the hospitality and would recommend for anyone heading to Cordoba. Great for Muslim travellers as food is halal.

This restaurant is amazing! I went here for lunch but it was a bit early so we decided to sit down for a drink in the meantime. We sat inside the garden which was so lovely. There was some nice oriental music, a good scent, the sound of the water fountain, flowers and colourful walls. It was really peaceful! We then had vegetarian couscous and tagine which was so delicious. We also tried the desserts and it was very good too. The lady who served us was so nice and caring. I will definitely come back again in the future because this restaurant is amazing.

Absolutely amazing food, the noodle with chicken dish was truly delicious and the decoration of the patio is nice and peaceful with background music and fountain. The service is also very kind.

Really nice food in a nice setting. We ordered a hummus, salad, chicken “pastel” and a vegetable couscous and everything was really nice. The service is also excellent, albeit a bit slow at times - must say that the restaurant was really busy though. Overall, a great experience a bit away from the crowds of the town centre.

Okay place, but nothing more than okay. Juices labeled as fresh juice are overly sweetened, baklava is completely dry, and cakes and brownies are not traditional. Considering the place, we expected more traditional and better-made desserts. The price is much higher than the quality.

This is undoubtedly our favourite restaurant in Cordoba! The staff are friendly and attentive and the dishes are amazing. The outdoor seating is also beautiful. We went twice, for breakfast, then lunch, and we enjoyed both menus. I’d recommend the fez hummus, salmon panini, and pastela. For drinks, the pomegranate and hibiscus drink is not to be missed (we had it both times and are still craving for it now!). We would definitely come back the next time we’re in Cordoba.

Amazing restaurant! The food looks mouthwatering, and tastes as good as it looks! My friend and I had the Tajin de Cordero and Pastel de Pollo and they were both absolutely divine! The meat melted in your mouth and the pastel was so full of flavour that you just wanted to keep eating. The staff was very kind and attentive and made sure to accommodate all our wishes. For dessert I had the chocolate cake, I could take the leftovers home with me... That was one amazing breakfast the following day. We talked to the chef after dinner: she is very kind, friendly and talented. Will definitely come back if I’m in Córdoba again!

We came in for dinner and ordered the Perla salad, the chicken-lemon tagine, lamb couscous (very tender) and chicken skewers to share. (And got some complimentary bread.) For drinks we tried the lemonade and sangría. Everything we ordered was delicious and flavourful without being overpowering, and the drinks were refreshing. The decor was beautiful, especially further in to the restaurant. We sat inside but I imagine it would be lovely to sit outside. The toilets are also clean and the staff were friendly. We were the only people in the restaurant so I can’t comment on how efficient the service would have otherwise been but we were well attended to. Overall, a lovely dinner and would want to try more dishes if I could, so definitely recommend.

This place is an excellent example of what a Moroccan restaurant should be. It has a really nice, beautifully decorated patio with a great atmosphere, where you can enjoy your tea. The couscous is to die for, and the lovely selection of arabic sweets will definitely leave everyone satisfied. Don't forget to taste the quality coffee that they serve, it's absolutely majestic. And finally, I think the most important thing anyone can ask for from a restaurant is some good service, which Perla Azul certainly provides. From the charming owner of the place, to the lovely ladies in the kitchen, they are all wonderful. Can't wait to come back.

Wonderful place with gorgeous design, great service and amazing cuisine. The terrace is beautiful; the coffee is very good and carefully chosen, we got an americano & cappuccino that comes with an extra little something sweet; we surprisingly received on the house a plate with avocado and olive paste to spread. We got chicken couscous and chicken tajin, afterwards we got a crepe with amlou and a mlewza for dessert that we were too busy enjoying & eating instead of taking pictures. The food was soooo good. Can’t wait to repeat the experience.

Popped in for peppermint tea and baklava - both were excellent. I had to have a second piece of baklava, it was so good. The staff/owners (?) were so friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

Whether it’s for breakfast, lunch or dinner, there is always something good on the menu. Highly recommend the Akchur brunch, new on the menu and it was absolutely fantastic!

FOOD ordered: Very tasty non alcoholic sangria; delicious saffa medfuna (angel hair with chicken, raisins and spices); very good tajine de cordero (lamb stew with prunes & apricots), a bit salty but perfect with the sesame pumpkin seed hot bread; yummy cheesecake, sweeter and less cheesy than good American cheesecake, but very good all the same. SERVICE: Very friendly. COST before tip: 39.40€.

The staff were very friendly and attentive and the patio was very cute. We ordered the highly recommended chicken fillo pie (pastela de pollo) and a vegetable couscous which were scrumptious. The turmeric hummus was creamy and delicious. I also loved the non-alcoholic sangria which was refreshing and tasty. Our dessert was cheesecake. The crust was crunchy and the top of the cake tasted like creme brûlée which was yummy.

The authenticity of the place brought me back to my trip to Morocco! The blue interiors and the refreshing patio makes you want to stay long. I was greeted with smiles and of course, good vibes only. 😌❤️ The cheesecake had a rich flavor and a moist crust. Can’t wait to try more! ✨
