Pretty good hotel. It was quiet, the rooms were amazing with a good kitchen, a lot of space and room for everyone in the family to get their own space. The inside pool was really good, for the cost of 10 euros a day (per room). The cost for the spa was 5 euros a day (per room, with an age restriction of 16 for the spa). The location was bit off. Getting to the closest shopping center requires a car or use of a taxi, the same goes with a good supermarket. But there is a minimart nearby, a few restaurants, a pharmacy and a pub. The staff were friendly and helped us with the things we needed.

Good morning. My mum and I stayed for 12 nights at Los Amigos in September 2023. The facilities are incredible with choices of great offering different ambiences. Very well kept gardens and communal areas. Accomodation has everything including own washing machine. Lots of room around the hotel. Fantastic staff special mention to Juani and Natalia running the entertainment department. Both were very helpful friendly informative and had time for any enquiries and lots of energy. Had 4 treatments the masseuses team are amazing. Beautiful indoor heated pool and spa area which is never busy. It's in a quiet area but can access via bus to bigger local resorts for livelier times. Highly recommend it. Have booked for a month next July 2024.

Booked a studio last minute with Easyjet. Really impressed with the complex. Can’t find fault with any of it from rooms to service. Food was excellent. Other restaurants within walking distance. Seemed perfect for families but would not suit 18-30’s single sex parties. Too quiet and too far away from any “action”. Imo anyway. Which is good news for older people and young families. For young children there seemed to be plenty of activities. As well as for younger adults tennis, archery etc The evening entertainment was very good while we were there. (In restaurant as the temperature drops in evenings in November) Fabulous during day. Low to mid 20’s every day and we only had a little rain one day in 16. Was perfect weather for walking about. Once we worked out the area and bus schedules we were very happy with location. We visited other places, Mijas town, Marbella, fuengirola, Benalmadena etc all on local buses very cheaply. Admittedly it took us around 5 days to work it all out (but we are 70+ and not too savvy lol). Before that it seemed the only option to get out was taxi and it was working out expensive. Not so! Just take time. In end we were jumping on and off buses like locals haha. Would definitely recommend. The apartment was the best self catering I’ve ever stayed in. Kitchen had everything you could possibly want, full size everything, full cooker, fridge freezer, washing machine and dishwasher. Large flat screen tv, good wifi. Shiny bathroom with great shower etc etc. could go on but was excellent. All staff fabulous too.

I’ve stayed 3 times in the last 6 months and I love it. It’s extremely good value for money, the apartments are clean and very spacious. There is a supermarket and a few restaurants on the location, but there are lots of more food options and the beach within 10 minute walk. The pool is amazing and the kids club has fun activities, my daughters favorite is the bridge of doom in the pool. Will come back many more times!

Loved our April stay here, the temperature was perfect. The pools were fantastic, the life guards helpful and the supermarket stocked a good selection of everything! The cleaning service was absolutely fantastic, the apartment was spotless when we arrived and cleaned and stocked every two days or so. The staff were helpful and very welcoming and polite. There is a good selection of restaurants serving different cuisines in and around the resort. Would definitely visit again!

The staff at the front desk are so friendly, welcoming, and helpful. They do help with finding local spots to eat or visit. It was funny to see wild boar rooming around. The resort is nice with a nice view of the Mediterranean Ocean. The only issue we had was the constant ant issue no matter what housekeeping did, they just kept coming back. The rooms are nice with an apartment vibe they come with all appliances with the exception of a clothes dryer o would recommend this place

We spent a week here with 4 small children and the noise from the evening entertainment ruined the holiday. It was deafening and kept our children wake until very late. We complained at least 4 times but it achieved nothing. My wife and I couldn’t even speak to each other in the room with the doors and windows closed as it was loud. Thank you to Los Amigos Beach Club for ruining our holiday. I hope you’re pleased with yourselves.

Our stay at Los Amigos Beach Club was fantastic! The accommodation was spacious and clean, which truly added to a comfortable stay. It was great to be able to park for free and with ease, making traveling by car stress-free. In terms of value for money, we were highly satisfied. We genuinely felt that we were getting good value for our money, considering the size and cleanliness of the accommodation, as well as the provided amenities. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful, enhancing the overall experience. In summary, Los Amigos Beach Club met and exceeded all of our expectations. We would definitely recommend it to others looking for a comfortable and affordable stay in the region. Thanks to the entire team for the warm welcome and excellent service!

I always read hotel reviews with a pinch of salt given that every customer situation is different but this property deserves the star ratings in the review that they've got. The property is very clean And well maintained. We got a two-bedroom apartment or a family the facilities were excellent kitchen was fully equipped they had dishwasher soaps and washing machine pods in the kitchen towels were plenty beds were very clean and comfortable the whole family had a great time. Just keep in mind that there is not much near by and you would need a car (thats why the lower stars for that) but its just off the highway

Clean and well stocked rooms. Whole site is well maintained. Although pool rules in place for use of balls and reserving sunbeds they are not enforced. Restaurant is overpriced. Entertainment is 'pub singer' level and the same each week. Access to beach is unkempt as is the beach. Need a car as quite isolated.

Perfect wee 7 day break, would suite a couple of family. Rooms are clean and spacious, staff are friendly and reactive, l9cation is 2.7km from Fuengirola and 2km away from Cala Mijas.

Loved these apartments. The whole complex was spotless. The rooms were very well equipped for self catering including dishwasher and washing machine. The complex is eco friendly and had filtered water which allowed for drinking instead of buying plastic bottled water. I felt very safe being a solo traveller. Loved it so much I am returning in August.

Absolutely love the staff here, so happy and attentive. Pablo in the restaurant is such a hard worker. He never stops! AJ is lovely and Louis on reception. All the reception staff are happy to help. Nice heated indoor pool in December. Clean apartments and close to restaurants but the restaurant in there is absolutely beautiful. Can’t wait to go back!

Great place to stay, well located close to Fueringola, good restaurants here and several others very close by. Really good place to use as golf central, loads of great courses in the same area. 👍🏌️‍♂️⛳🍷

Location and apartments are great, nice and comfortable beds, good size kitchen and living room, the only missing item is changing room for Spa! Unfortunately they don’t have changing room for Spa services and people should change in the swimming pool toilet or walk to their flats without changing!

I did not expect that there could be such a terrible hotel on the Costa del Sol. Disgusting service, the rooms smell, in order to enter the pool you need to make a reservation and pay money. What the hell? It would be better if employees were taught how to work with guests.

  • 5/5 ian d. 1 year ago on Google
Very impressed with the rooms and pool area. The whole place is very clean. Slightly disappointed having to use swim hats in the indoor area. Definitely something that could be fixed, and possibly the least clean area we used. But still 5 stars for me. The staff were always friendly and helpful. Convenient location with a few local places to eat/drink.

Great hotel, we stay all the time, it's a great hotel if you want to visit other places too. Its central location makes it just right, but you do have to take a bus or hire a car for exploring! The bus stop is very close to the hotel. It's great for a couple that want a bit of piece and quiet. This area isn't as busy as just up the road in the Fuengirola, Benalmadena, and Torramolinos areas. The staff are so friendly and just can't do enough for you. The rooms are very nice but don't expect a sea view, although right on the beach, you do have to walk under a busy road to get there. This, of course, is reflected in the price. We love this hotel.

This is one of those places which I would consider to be a hidden gem in the pre-season. - The rooms have all just been renovated and are well equipped with everything you need to make you feel right at home. - The staff is very friendly, speaks multiple languages and is available for you at all times through whatsapp. - The garden pool is amazing. Great place to relax and enjoy the sun all day. - There are also tennis multiple tennis courts available which you can book at play on free of charge if you have your own gear. - Easily accessible from the airport with public transport. Around the resort there is not much to do. The beach is small and the restaurants limited. Nothing wrong with them though! If you wish to plan activities outside of the resort I would suggest you get a car. This is definately worth it if you wish to relax. Price/Quality-ratio is great.

Great service from the front desk staff. Went for a 1 bedroom apartment which was excellent, large balcony with table and 4 comfortable chairs and a good solid bed. Really well equipped, actually it had everything you could think of and more. Extremely clean. Credit to the housekeeping staff. WiFi worked but could be improved. This is my go-to place for this are of Spain now.

Loved this Hotel. The rooms are probably the best I've ever stayed in, they even come with a dishwasher and washing machine. Local supermarket right on the door step and a short walk to the beach and bus stop. I'd definitely book this one up again.

  • 5/5 john h. 7 months ago on Google
Loved it. Plenty of pools available, two outdoor and one in door on site and three in the public access area that's easily accessible, also spa on site, bar, couple of places to eat a selection of foods and a supermarket and lots of entertainment and activities for adults and kid. Nearby is a small but good selection of bars and restaurants and another shop. The room was nice and clean and the cleaners do a great job. No faults that we found at all.

Use the train from Malaga airport 3€ per person and super easy to understand. Get off at the end of the line in Fuengirola and get a 12€ taxi to Los Amigos. This was our second visit, if you can get one of the elite apartments do so as they are facing the pool, we had that on our first visit but this time we were in a two bed apartment over the Papa Luigi Pizza Restaurant (which never opened! Not part of the resort though.) The room was still quiet though. Great pools, one in the resort and another just outside, with daily activities. The resort restaurant is convenient and serves really good food for dinner, the staff really friendly and we also had takeaway pizzas which were great. Had a poor experience with breakfast though, the cooked breakfast took 40 minutes to arrive and when it did come was cold. The bar by the pool did good cocktails but the barman was the same guy from the breakfast experience and my wife wasn't overly impressed with his service there either. The staff are great, friendly and helpful, the rooms large and clean, with air con. Plenty of nearby restaurants if you want to go out and Mijas is a short taxi ride away. I would Def go back. (We are members of what was Diamond Resorts.)

Beautiful place, rooms are spacious and have all the things you need. It's a little bit remote. You can take a bus to Fuengirola. The supermarkets around don't have a great selection of food, so if you want to cook yourself, you have to do your groceries in Fuengirola. The restaurant is a great option too, very good meals for lunch and dinner.

  • 4/5 Ian M. 1 year ago on Google
We had a nice 1 bedroom apartment overlooking the main pool. It was very clean and had everything you needed for a self catering holiday. We found the location of the resort OK but a bit isolated if you didn't have a hire car although there are regular buses in each direction and always taxis waiting nearby. The small beach was only a 2 minute walk away and there were a handful of small restaurants 5 mins walk away. Only down side was the poolside music which wasn't to our taste and sometimes went on late into the night. There was entertainment on 4 nights a week which was a decent standard.

Estate kept lovely and clean. Great service staff, very helpful. Super pool. Housekeeping not daily which could be better. Well equipped kitchen with dishwasher and washing machine. Stayed in late September 2021.

3rd time here in 6 years.1 bedroom units are great by the pool.have patio with 4 chairs & chaise lounges.lacking a bit of storage in king-size bedroom.hanging closet with some shelving.put suitcases underneath bathroom sink. 2 large pools, 2 tennis courts, gym (small 3 people max) but works.restaurant food is good.live evening performances will be back in 2022.can walk (30-40 minute walk) or take bus to 2 great beach towns on either side of resort. Fuengirola has awesome beach, 6 km boardwalk, Cala de Mijas has the same. Beach/ocean is 400 meters away.small grocery store nearby (right beside resort)& 5 restaurants 600 meters away.nude beach is 600 meters away also.front desk staff are great.some have been here for 10+years.Rueben who works evenings is super helpful!

Fourth returning visit, fabulous pool areas, cleanliness is top notch everywhere, on site restaurant good and friendly welcoming staff, studio room away from the roadside outer bars and restaurants for us next time though.

  • 4/5 Lesley L. 2 years ago on Google
Clean rooms, good size, you have to book the center pool and the indoor pool but we found that great as it ment we had the indoor pool to just the two of us for a whole hour. The larger outdoor pool was unrestricted basicly. We ate out in the restaurant across the main road as we preferred the choice the restaurant in the grounds was mainly an English menu not what we were looking for. Still a lot of restrictions obviously due to covid but we enjoyed the break especially as we are now residents of Spain so no tests etc just showed out vaccination certificate. Have been here 3 times now we do like the place the staff are generally very helpful.

A very nice experience. Under the current circumstances regarding Covid19, well set up and organised. The Covid19 mitigations worked very well including the allocation of sunbeds and spaces around three main pool bar which has a great selection of drinks and snacks. The service the resort was top knotch and friendly. Nearby there are a good selection of supermercardos and restaurantes including a beach BBQ bar.

Amazing place to stay, we got a very old looking room at first but asked to change it and then we got a very modern room and it was beautiful, location of the apartments is very nice, loads of corner shops that’s very cheap and loads of food places around also, will deffo be coming back here

Fantastic weeks stay!! From the moment we checked in Natalie at reception was very helpfully and accommodating. The rooms were fantastic with a really comfy bed, plenty of space, a fantastic shower and great veiws of the main pool. Lots of facilities to keep you entertained even though we spent most of our days exploring golf courses. The restaurant was good quality and value. Can’t fault at all. Will definitely be back on a regular basis now.

Really nice place to stay! If we ever come back in this area, i will again stay in Los Amigos. Very friendly staff, really clean, have all you need in your stay, just make sure to rent a car with you or be ready to take bus which is not difficult. The restaurant in this hotel place is also very nice.

My one-bedroom apartment was beautiful, cleaned and spacious. I also had a pool-view, which I was definitely not expecting. Lost a star because of a mishap with my electonic key & an army of ants in the kitchen. Both problems were quickly resolved, but still dampered my stay a tiny bit. Staff were wonderful and helpful. Resort is beautiful and quiet. Truly enjoyed my stay.

Really nice place to stay if you’re coming to the Costa del Sol. Breakfast at Las Casitas (see my separate review) was amazing although not cheap. The beds were super comfortable and the studio was much bigger than I expected it to be. I slept wonderfully every night thanks to the lovely pillows and the efficient air conditioning. I also loved that there was a water filter to reduce the use of plastics, so you could fill up your bottle with the nice-tasting water and keep it in the fridge. There was a the recycling bin in the kitchen, with three separate colour bags. As for any negative side, the only one I can think of is that the complex, as one can see from the location, does not overlook the sea, and it’s always nice to wake up with views of the sea, isn’t it? Instead, apartments overlook either the pools or else the tennis courts. But the gardens have lots of plants and it’s very relaxing to look onto them.

We stayed in June & we had a fabulous week. Fantastically hot weather & a lovely pool to relax by. Our apartment we could not fault, it was brilliant. It was modern & had everything we needed for a self catering stay. The cupboards were well stocked with utensils, pots & pans etc & all was spotless. Usb plugs were handy as we forgot our plugs! Everything has been thought of for you, even recycling & filtered water available. The air con was well received in the heat & we really appreciated a really lovely week in really lovely surroundings inside & outside of the room. The complex itself only has a few restaurants nearby, but we took a taxi to the local towns for at the most 6/8 euro and they were 5 minutes away for a more busy atmosphere. The children loved it every day when the 'bridge of doom' inflatable came out each day! They loved it. The hotel had a lovely restaurant we ate at & evening entertainment on some evenings too. Over all we had a fabulous stay & would definitely return or look at other resorts . 5 star 🌟

Brilliant apartments spotlessly clean everything in the apartments that you need. If you like cocktails go see AJ at the pool bar he will sort you out. The restaurant food is excellent but be aware spirits very expensive. Other than that great place for a holiday .

  • 5/5 John T. 1 year ago on Google
Out of town (Fuengirola), so need to choose between car hire or taxi, local bus much cheaper but less convenient. Resort is basically self catering, but mostly that means choosing which restaurant to eat in. Good pools, not usually too crowded. Live entertainment to suit some tastes most evenings. Comfortable apartments, plenty big enough for a holiday.

  • 5/5 Sharon H. 2 years ago on Google
Had a amazing time at Los Amigos Beach Club. Reception clean, tidy and well lit. Staff helpful and accommodating when booking a day trip. Apartment was opposite the pool as requested. 13C would get the sun from lunchtime, sunbeds bookable through the life guard daily. 5min walk to the beach if you're fit and good with steps. The beach is clean and you can hire a sunbed for €6.5 Las Casitas restaurant onsite has a good menu. The portions are ample and good quality. Tables are bookable at the restaurant and advisable when there is entertainment on, this is three times a week Sunday, Wednesday and Friday.

The resort had a decent amount of amenities, and friendly staff. The property itself needs work nearly everywhere. Fading walls, much of the grounds in disrepair. Enjoyed the stay but the resort itself was far from luxury.

  • 5/5 Edson O. 1 year ago on Google
We enjoyed very much everything about our visit, the reception staff were amazing, extremely nice in fact in every way. Perhaps we could say that this wasn't exactly the same at the restaurant, often, it felt they were under staffed and the wait was a bit much, but the food was always good. We didn't hire a car but spent quite a lot on taxi so maybe that's something to consider.

Super friendly and professional staff. Will stay again. The upstairs rooms are newer than the bottom ones. Super plush I felt just like at home. Washing machine is a plus for cyclists. Full kitchen to cook a proper meal. Very clean. Price is very good. Unfortunately you need a car to get here.
