A burger just like you’d expect it to be: Delicious! Went here for a quick evening bite and boy was it good! The smashed burgers are one point, the fries are decent, the drinks are sufficient and the happy hour deal is heard to beat if you are a beer drinker in that part of town! Extra kudos for the staff that was extra caring (I got bit, had an allergic reaction and they came out with ice in a cloth and were really helpful!) See you guys again soon!

We went there to watch an Italian football match on a desert Sunday evening on February. The guy inside was so nice to look for the match on the TV, he accompanied us till the table with a smile, took the order explaining details, made sure everything was ok several times during our stay, so gentle, so professional, so friendly, you might think we were not in Brussels! Because in Brussels it's often a dream to have a decent customer care, but there, oh boy, we were impressed. I don't know if we were just lucky, I don't know if during rush hours it would probably not be the same, but we really enjoyed one of the best customer service in a while. Please keep up that good spirit, please don't lose that attitude and smile. And yes, the hamburger was very good, definitely a good ratio for price and quality. Recommended.

Very nice bar/pub style place with some tables on a small plaza outside across the street, quite the selection of bottled beer. Chicken tenders were great, fries were good (but not what we were hoping to get, we were looking for the legendary Belgian fries) and the burger was very tasty (a bit greasy, too, but that's where the taste comes from, right?). However, the service staff took the cake (please see update below, too): We wanted to share both the burger and the tenders and asked for a knife to cut the burger in half. Any cutlery would have done, like a butter knife or probably even a spoon for that matter -- but they refused. At first I thought it was a joke, but they were really serious: "I don't even know you, you could attack us with a knife!" Sure bro, it is noon on a sunny Friday, and here are two middle-aged men in suits with ties and pocket squares, sneaking out of a conference for fries, a burger, a beer and a knife assault with a butter knife borrowed from YOU. 😂😂😂 UPDATE: The man is right. If "no butter knives for anybody ever" is their policy then he handled it nicely, to be honest. I still like to think I don't look like a violent knife murderer but what do I know? 😂 So overall, the food was very good, he explained their policy calmly, still solved the issue (by cutting the burger for us) and we enjoyed the food, the beer, and the visit in general. I don't want to take away from that with a petty service rating. Retrospectively I don't even know why I reacted so harshly to all of this at first, but I'm sorry and I apologize!

The place itself looks cozy, but the service was terrible. The waiter literally rolled his eyes in disapproval of my order and told us it was impossible to change the Coca Cola for something else less than a minute after we ordered it. It is breathtaking in what insubstantial amount of time Uncle Richard’s has become one of the true legends of Brussels‘ nightlife. Saying this, my soul would freeze the moment I visit this place on the next occasion - like a vampire would fall to ashes when exposed to daylight - if I didn’t mention the pleasure of enjoying one of the exorbitantly delicious lunches „URs“ has to offer. Absolutely amazing. Burger as well as belgian's fries were out of this world. I highly recommend green richards for vegetarians. Really nicely seasoned and with special sauce it is to die for. For a beer I would recommend goose island beer, which is a bit bitter, but goes excellently with the food.

Found this place by accident, and it is one of the best meals I have ever eaten. I had the duck and avocado and it was cooked to perfection. The different flavours and textures complemented each other so well. I am not sure what I had for desert, the waitress recommended it, and it was again delicious.
