In general it is a bakery where locals and tourist are coming. Usually very busy and offers couple of tables indoor. Selection of different pastery and some good sandwiches. Nice coffee also! Not serving eggs or bowls, however if you are up for a simple breakfast or snack - reccomending the place.

Got two baguettes for dinner and was quite happy. Crispy and good price. Do come early if possible as they do sell out - which of course is a good thing taking waste into considerations

Wonderful croissants! So crispy outside and so creamy and buttery inside. Citrus tart is also very tasty. Prices are reasonable and staff is nice. Will definitely visit again.

While Belgium is famous for its waffles, you can also expect to find excellent pastry shops due to its French influence. We went to Charli for breakfast and had a deliciously flaky croissant & pain au chocolat, but the highlight for us was the pistachio & raspberry eclair! The pistachio cream is AMAZING and the raspberry adds a perfect balance to the creamy sweetness. The coffee and hot chocolate was also good 👍🏼

Hello Bakery lovers 👋🍞 ! Today I tried #Charli and found it to be very nice, friendly staff explaining for me their pastries type on smiley face🤍 I tried two things: 1. Is there famous Pain Au Chocolat! It was really amazing and I can rate it 5 star out of 5 as it is crispy from outside and fluffy, chocolaty from inside! It's like a dream and you will be happy if you give it a try! 2. Crriosont; which I normally not feels very happy but it is ok, fluffy and crispy but the taste you may find it anywhere else with less cost. In my next visit I want to try two things which I really interested to try them both 🖤🤍 [Bolus & Criox de Savoie] 🤍🖤 They both looks sweet and so delicious😋 By the way, I really felt in love with the environment of Charli place, very nice seating area with a modern art on the wall and excellent decoration! LOVE YOU #CHARLI

Charli has consistently been one of the BEST bakeries in Brussels for over 10-years (Congrats Charles Reboulet!). I love the rustic whole-grain breads and the indulgently sugar glazed Pain-au-Chocolate. Their take-away coffee could be served in bigger cups, but you come here for the bread, not coffee. The seating area is right in the shop and its fun to watch the bakers at play in their atelier while you trial their wholesome produce. The staff are patient and kind even when there is a long queue stretching out of the door. It also great that you can order on-line - such a service minded approach rarely experienced in Brussels. (Note: No toilets). Come, buy and find a bench on the squares around in St Catherine from which you can smugly devour your baked goods.

Popped by for a pastry for breakfast. I ordered the ... I dont remember the name but its was a very soft pastry with sugar on top. I loved how soft and light it was, but also sweet. My boyfriend got .... the one that was round with raisins. It wasnt exactly soft and had more texture to it. I wasnt a fan but he enjoyed it. Orange juice had bits in it but not sure if its fresh. The staff who served us also recommended the pastry that had almonds in it so we bought one to take out to try. - THIS WAS ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! The pastry was similar to a croissant but with both almond paste and chocolate inside. Outside was slightly crispy and the inside was very soft. This is probably one of the best pastries I've ever had and we absolute fell in love with it. I regret not getting more 😞

So good we went twice in 3 days! Everything is awesome. Super well executed patisserie baking - you can even hear the crack when people at the table next to you are biting into a pain au chocolat. The tarts are decadent and delicious. I think the croissants (all kinds - almond, chocolate, almond & chocolate) are a must try. We didn’t see any savoury options. Strongly recommend for pastries and bakes, this is one of the best options in Brussels - and it’s evident from how they’re busy right from the open at 7.30am! Visit Dates: June 1, 2023 & June 3, 2023

A busy bakery with limited seating. We went for breakfast but the main trade seemed to be people on their way to work. The coffee and pain aux chocolat were delicious. Would recommend for a light breakfast.

Best bakery! Pastries are fresh and delicious! Amazing sandwiches! Google maps actually takes you to the one on the other side of the road which is closed. We almost walked away.. Very glad the guy came out and told us we had to cross over!

Amazing croissant and pain au chocolat. Really delicious. They're super buttery and flaky but light as air. Unfortunately they weren't as fresh because I came here quite late, so maybe come here earlier. If I'm back in Brussels, I will come here again for sure.

Two words that I will remember about Charli: Chou Caramel. It was not love at first bite, you simply can’t stop stuffing your face with deliciousness. The bread nature is so light and tasty too!

Very friendly team and delicious bread. They offer small inviting area for seating and to have sandwiches there and then. Couldn't imagine any improvements.

Got the Almond Croissant €3 It has a different taste than the usual almond-chocolate or almond-marzipane croissant, as it is more a Toasted Almond Croissant, which is very good.

One of the most expensive bakeries in town. Pies and baked goods are good, but not extraordinary.

Hostess was lovely and cut up our pastries as she saw we were with our little girl. The guy behind the counter though could do with being more friendly and less abrupt. Pastries were delicious!!!

Wonderful little bakery cum cafe at 2 min walk from st Catherine church & metro has excellent selection of freshly baked baguette ( traditional & cereal ) and several types of breads and pastries and cakes . If you look to eat an authentically baked bread this is the place to be! The ingredients used are bio and sourdough breads are super. The ambience is cheerful and staff very kind and smiling ! The sight of treys of freshly baked bread coming out of oven is pleasant to watch ! A must visit during your Belgian stay to catch a refreshing cup of coffee & crossant to give your legs a much needed break! The chocolate used in pain au chocolat particularly was distinctive than few others I have tried elsewhere .

Short line on a Sunday morning in September. Very efficient staff with great language proficiencies. The croissants and baked sweets were more than good. Really superb. Coffee was adequate.

Visited in the beginning of September, 2021, short line at 8:30 on a Sunday morning, maybe 12 people in line. The quality of the pastries and croissants were superb. Really fantastic qualities. Coffee is serviceable but plenty of options close by.

The best croissant I have ever eaten so far lmao. Seriously, I wasn't expecting it to be this good. The place was small so it was always full when we came. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Excellent products as regards bakery. The various sorts of bread, the traditional croisants or chocolat-based products are just perfect. Pastries are OK but other specialized Belgian boutiques would have more to offer.

I am very particular with my croissants and pain aux chocolat - and i have to admit that Charli was the best one we had in Brussels. We went two or three times during our week when we got tired of trying the other bakeries.

The pastries were hard and cold and hot chocolate tasted like nothing it was basically brown water. The staff were friendly but I was excepting a much better experience when it comes to crossaient

Seriously the best viennoiseries you’ll ever try - France included. Large choice, although maybe nothing beats a crunchy, classic croissant. They have olive focaccia on Fridays and Saturdays!

Saw this cafe's name in a few blogs and decided to try it out. The bolus was unique and yummy, it was the first time I tried it. The croissants were okay I've tried better ones in Paris. The baguette was fresh and perfect!
