Me and my wife had booked tent stay with "Camping @ Gandikota". We had spoke to Mr. Nagaraju. Our experience : We had stayed on 16th Oct 2021 (Sat) and would not recommend if you are not planning to have a blast with music/alcohol there. - It was pretty hot to stay in a tent - Lots of people put camp fire which increases the temperature even further - To top it all there are mosquitoes. - People get speakers and alcohol and have a mini dance party and it will go well past 1 am. - Also the tents are so close to each other that there is no proper ventilation. - Morning breakfast was arranged in a nearby "Paradise hotel" which go too rushy and we had to wait a lot for food. Also food was not that good. It was so bad that we had to sleep in our car. Another point to remember is that Bathroom/Toilet facility is 300m from the site. You need to take 1 min drive to go there. Positives : + Toilets were clean + Tents were clean + View is amazing + Dinner was nice (Chapathi, Tomato curry, Rice, Dal, Curd) + Sunrise view is good For people who would actually want to sleep at night, I would recommend to get either AC tents (which has attached bathroom) or one of the few lodges in Gandikota. It is not worth paying 1k per head for the tent. Another option is to go in peak winter when tent stay might be better due to the cooler climate.

Gandikota also called called the Grand Canyon of India …. An unparalleled experience you will have, right from the moment you land, till the time you leave . Many thanks to Mr.Nagaraju who will take care of your every need, with a single call, even before you could land . He will guide you to the place, set up your tent , get you food and pass you any information you need about the place or anything else that you require. A five star service from a very humble person . A must visit place for a one night stay, right under the stars, and wake up to one among the most beautiful mornings your eyes could see. There are other activities like zip line, ATV ride among many others, that you enjoy during your stay. Do visit some nice places of interest nearby , including the Gandikota fort and Belum cave which will make it the shortest trip to remember for a very very long time.

Great stay at camp sites of Gandikota. Nice staff, took care of the family. The team was flexible and ready to accommodate any changes we needed. The tents were clean and got alternative accommodation once it started raining. Food arranged at the tents was really tasty and better than most restaurants. I would recommend this for families, as they have decent restrooms arranged nearby.

Good experience at gandikota camp site tents, Nagaraju made all arrangements well for us, even though we are group of 5 women. He responds quickly. Only thing is no power point for charging phone nr tents, need to walk 100mts. So better to carry power banks

Visited Gandikota on a weekend with a group of friends. We decided to camp overnight on the gorge in a tent and had contacted Nagaraj from 'Camping at Gandikota'. He charges Rs. 800 per person (includes tent for 2, dinner, bonfire, breakfast and waterfall visit) He was very cordial and helpful from the beginning. Gave us all the details regarding the tent stay, activities to do nearby, dinner/breakfast etc. He received us at the decided location on time and allotted the tents for us nearby. They organize a bonfire for each group and provide dinner (chapati, sabji, dal, rice, rasam, curd & one non-veg dish). Morning after sun rise, we could use the toilets of Haritha resort (nearby) - they were crowded and not very clean, but manageable. After breakfast (idli, pongal) he took us to the nearby waterfall. They provide us with lifejackets for safety. The waterfall is a nice experience. Not very deep and safe to swim around even for amateurs. Overall a very nice experience and must visit place for all those looking for a weekend getaway

The view across the Tent is worth all the pain. We drove from Bangalore to Gandikota and stayed at this camp location. Dinner offered was proper Andhra Meals !! Liked it. Even the breakfast was good. Tent was clean and proper. Tents are little closer to each other. Placement can be inproved. Restrooms are the pain. Need to go out to common place. Specially for ladies it's bit difficult. Needs some facility. Couple must go for boating ride. It's kind of trek to reach to the boating place. We didn't opt for campfire, since it wasn't so much cold. The view is worth all the efforts and pain. This team did take care of necessity of us. Safe for couple.

Breath taking views with incredibly responsive point of contact (Nagaraju) - what else is needed for a vacation ❀️ It was heavily raining however he was constantly in touch with us almost whole night to ensure we are comfortable in the tents. Activities were super good and exciting. Food (dinner / breakfast) was delicious. I strongly recommend everyone to avail the services through this channel. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed at a quite reasonable price - Totally super worth!

It's a good experience spending under tents for a night. Suresh is reachable for any clarification or any issue. Dinner and breakfast are fine. I donot have any complaints, my kids enjoyed camp fire. Only issue is with toilets which is not near, but Suresh told me about it upfront before booking. I took a call to still go ahead and of course it is bit of discomfort but if you donot mind adjusting for a night, you should give a try

Great experience and great service by the team. Good tent, fireplace for each tent, great buffet dinner and breakfast. They were very generous in serving. Drinking water available. Toilet is 100m away but that’s the case with every accommodation here. It is common so don’t expect much cleanliness. Sleeping bag was provided but a pillow would have been a great addition. Would certainly recommend Nagaraju and his team.

Clean decent AC room at reasonable price. Walkable distance to canyon. The localities best restaurant, sivalingam, is opposite to the room. New property with new furnitures and equipments.

The location is really good, incredible India indeed. However, the basic amenities need a lot to be worked upon. Like the washrooms, basic cleanship of the area in and around the camping. There's a lot of littering in and around the area. The amount being paid and services being given are not upto the mark.

It's a very beautiful place to find peace and relax. But make sure your tent is made in a flat rock or ground to avoid back pain for the older people. I went with family, it's a safe place. Dinner is anding. Breakfast and lunch is ok. The weather is hot even in October. It's best to visit during cooler weather is the heat bothers you. You can buy alcohol from the nearest town which is a 30 minute drive.
