One of the Best railway station of India from infrastructure perspective. Waiting hall has many benches so that getting a vacant seat us never an issue. However the "current reservation" counter is unable to handle the large queue smoothly .

Presently, renovation is under progress, passengers are going through a very tough time, platforms 2 and 3 are very narrow, and they have to be very careful while walking on the platform, staircases are very narrow, passengers have to wait min 10 to 15 mins to come out of Tirupati Railway station. Since very high traffic, need more cleaning services. They need to provide escalators, and the widening of platforms are a must. This is a pilgrimage stop, need more attention by Railways

Here the members of railway employees follow all rules and regulations for passengers safety. For visiting tirupati temple you can drop your journey here. It's a big railway junction and situated in Andhra Pradesh. The waiting for every passenger are very large and comfortable for sit.

Very famous station where most of the trains stop for pilgrims going to Tirupati darshan. From here, bus or taxi needs to goto Tirumala where Temple is there. Nearby station is Renigunta. Station with 5 platforms stays crowded throughout the year. Not very hig but sufficient for the purpose. Taxi, auto are available all the time. Ola is also available. Few irctc restaurants on platform. Overall nice experience.

Railway station having access to all the major cities of the country from here. But the station is much crowded and could have no control. Maintenance should be done better. Its a small railway station and so trains arriving and departure will take back and forth at times.

2 years back at the railway station maintenance was good. But now not that much. 5 platforms having 2 escalators it helps to reach the platform easily with luggage.

Tirupati Railway Station, a gateway for pilgrims heading to the revered Tirumala temple, stands as a crucial transportation hub. The station maintains a commendable level of cleanliness and organization, creating a favorable first impression for travelers. Basic amenities, including waiting areas, food stalls, and restrooms, cater to the needs of diverse passengers. Its strategic location enhances accessibility, making it convenient for those embarking on spiritual journeys. Efficient ticketing processes and stringent security measures contribute to a smooth and secure travel experience. The station's staff is generally praised for their helpfulness and responsiveness, adding a positive touch to the overall atmosphere. However, during peak pilgrimage seasons, the station experiences occasional congestion, leading to crowded platforms and waiting areas. This can be a challenge for travelers, and efforts to manage the flow of passengers during such times would enhance the overall experience. The station's infrastructure and maintenance play a vital role in ensuring a pleasant journey. While there have been positive developments, periodic improvements could further elevate the station's standards. Enhancements in passenger comfort, signage for better navigation, and expanded facilities could be considered for future upgrades. Despite occasional challenges, Tirupati Railway Station fulfills its role as a crucial transit point effectively. The station's significance lies not only in its functionality but also in the cultural and spiritual context it serves. Pilgrims and regular travelers alike appreciate the station's efforts to provide a satisfactory travel experience. With ongoing improvements and a commitment to maintaining high standards, Tirupati Railway Station remains an integral part of the region's transportation network.

Visiting the Tirupathi railway station early in the morning is a beautiful experience. The surroundings are calm and serene, with birds chirping and fluttering about. The peaceful atmosphere makes for a lovely start to the day, and the views of the sunrise are breathtaking. The station is well-maintained and provides a comfortable waiting area for travelers. I arrived in the morning about 3am and its worth waiting for the morning experience at the station. It also got waiting hall and restrooms , which can be helpful for family with kids or even for older people.

Tirupati Railway Station is is one of the most crowded in South Central Railway. It is very near to Tirupati Bus Station from there you can board directly to Tirumala. We can see many buses near to railway station which directly goes to Tirumala. Even it has a floating crowd everyday. The facilities here at this station are par from the other railway stations. It has Escalator facility to passengers who can't walk.

Needs development! TTD could have supported Indian railways in developing this railway station. It is one of the most popular destinations in India and most of the people prefer Railways rather than flight and bus. Roads outside the railway station are narrow and crowded all the time. No proper waiting halls and restrooms inside the station.

I entered through what looked like a market area with the approach road very congested. The entrance lobby was packed with people sleeping everywhere and looked unkempt. Food was available through railway vendors. Definitely needs more maintenance, the platform looked run down.

This is specifically about the waiting hall. As you know that govt. Is not having funds to provide ac waiting halls for the citizens who are traveling through ac compartments ,they officially provide the paid waiting halls which they promises to provide free wifi, clean and fresh water,Washrooms with waiting lounge for 50rs/- for person. Yeah the idea is good but implementation is not so good. As the ladies appointed here are rude. They don't put on the ac till we ask them to put on them. See every person is not good at asking questions. We stayed like that for almost two hours and paid around 500rs/-. One lady passenger got frusted and asked about the A.C then the working women over here shouted on her. Here the flush is also not working. No clean and cool water as they promissed. No free wifi available. So please i suggest you people not to come over here and spend hundreds of rupees. Simply go out and book a lodge atlest.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Tirupati Railway Station, and I must say it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. As one of the busiest railway stations in the region, Tirupati Railway Station exceeded my expectations in several aspects. First and foremost, the station's infrastructure and cleanliness are commendable. The premises are well-maintained, and the platforms are spacious and organized. I was impressed by the cleanliness standards upheld throughout the station, including the waiting areas, restrooms, and ticketing counters. The maintenance staff deserves appreciation for their continuous efforts in keeping the station in top-notch condition.

Breakfast and tiffins also available with little bit high cost but average taste . It's disappointed to me. Outside railway station there are more autos. They asking to everyone to everyone.its some of Hesitate to all of us. But it's their work . So don't do like that if you want ask and deal with good price and have you good manner with all.

Since Tirupati Temple is emotionally attached, this station is loved even before visiting. I like the station so far. It always seems to be fairly crowded. I noticed the crowd of pilgrims because of the temple and saw many waiting pilgrims at the station.

Tirupati Railway Station is currently undergoing renovation, and it's clear that these improvements are much-needed. The station has long been a vital gateway for millions of devotees who visit the renowned Tirumala Venkateswara Temple, making it one of the busiest railway stations in South India. However, the increased footfall has taken a toll on its infrastructure, resulting in a crowded and often chaotic environment. The ongoing renovation efforts are a welcome change, as they aim to address the station's long-standing issues. The expansion of platforms, improved waiting areas, and enhanced signage are all steps in the right direction. These improvements will undoubtedly ease the congestion and provide a more comfortable experience for travelers and pilgrims alike. Despite these positive changes, it's crucial that authorities prioritize the station's maintenance during and after the renovation. Cleanliness and hygiene have been a concern in the past, and these issues must be effectively addressed to maintain the station's reputation as a significant pilgrimage hub. In conclusion, the renovation of Tirupati Railway Station is a promising development, offering hope for a more efficient and pleasant journey for the countless devotees and travelers passing through. However, it's essential that ongoing maintenance efforts match the scale of the renovation to ensure a consistently pleasant experience for all.

Got an amazing view of Sri Tirumala Hills and Sri Govindarajaswami temple. A total of 6 platforms are there. Too small for a crowded place like Tirupati. Cleanliness wise it needs a major revamp. Experienced train delays as well. Indian Railways should look into giving it a makeover πŸ™

It's a pilgrim Station. We can expect people travelling from different parts of india to visit Tirumala. So people with confirmed darshan booking and unknown visitors would visit this station is obvious. This mode of transport is relevant and sophisticated for many. As you can see, people are sitting on the floor and waiting. Not enough space and no considerable waiting halls here. Railways and government should arrange AC as well as non ac waiting halls for the benefit of many. πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™

Busiest railway station with huge traffic flow. Passenger convenience need to be still increased. Purchase of current journey tickets is never ending fight with pull and pushes and tired counter staff. Only 3 to 4 counters work for ticket issuing and many a time passengers miss their train as they fail to reach counter intime due to rush Railways should consider doing some alternative mechanism for ticket purchase by general travellers

  • 4/5 PATTI P. 2 years ago on Google
Station is clean all the time. Shops and hotels and restroom and waiting halls are available in platform and very clean. But if you want to get general ticket you need to stand in a queue before half an hour or more than that, there were only 2 ticket counters opened on my last visit. Thousands of passengers travelling ever day so if there are 8 or 9 counters that will be great and everyone get tickets ontime.
