An Average Hospital to prefer in emergencies. It has a good history as it was started in early nineteenth century. Old staff and nurses are good when compared with present one’s. Price’s are little bit high.Doctors availability and their performances are average. Rooms are good , Hospital maintained in best manner. Treatments and medicine’s are available in heavy price.

Staff in OP doesn't have minimum comman sence. They are very reckless and not giving proper response. I went to hospital for my wife pregnancy related complication as I recently moved to Guntur, they are saying they won't take cases of 9th month pregnancy at all. They are not giving proper answer for whey won't take the cases and they keeping thier faces like treating a begger. There are around 8 staff members are there and they have only intrest to chit-chat with each other and not to help patients. Is it fair to send out a patient without knowing complications? As of today I thought it's a good hospital and I completely lost that opinion after visiting. I very strongly recommend not to go. I have searched their website to raise a complaint to management but there is no option at all. I have a question to management, how can you call this hospital as a non-profit voluntary organization, a registered society if you are not going to take cases for any emergency?

I don't suggest this hospital. Strictly avoid this hospital especially for gynaecology. Worst doctors they don't have any moral values, ethics and mercy upon patients. But I am wondering why this popular missionary hospital recruited worst doctors even they don't know how to behave and don't know procedures. Lack of planning in arrangement for emergencies. And finally don't take consultation with Dr.fraha and Dr. Annie.

If I can give negative rating I will be happy to do that. Worst place for deliveries. Dr.Annie is the worst Gyneac I have ever seen. I went to the hospital at 12.15am in emergency after my amniotic broke. This lady dr walks in the delivery room and instructs the nurse something and leaves. Again she is back in the morning around 6am and argues with the nurse why didn’t she put the oxygen to me (the nurse has put the oxygen to the other women beside me). The nurse tells her that you only asked me to put the oxygen to the other women. Then Dr.Annie says I was half asleep so I instructed wrong but you should use your brain blah blah the discussion was on for 10min. Finally my delivery happened at 8.30am and my baby was suffocated for nearly 8hrs, pediatrician told my father we might need to put the baby on ventilator, anything might happen, be prepared. God’s will was different, so the baby passed through this ordeal. But my lil’ boy still has issues cause of that suffocation. What kind of doctors are these??? And you should look at the attitude this lady carries.. stay away from this disgraceful dr.

Worst hospital and worst doctor Phani Kumar. Worst treatment and my father became very weak after joining in this hospital. Few nurses are Worst at their behavior. Not at all responsible. Doctor won't be available if there is any emergency and they won't respond properly. Do not join in this hospital. Even government hospital staff is better than this hospital.

Worst behavior by receptionists... 1. Aadhar is mandatory for consultation, they don't even consider and give application even if we provide soft copy and do not consider the early visit. 2. Muslims must remove Burqa, strange how these people put rules when u can see there is no difference between burqa and Nun's habit When reached to the admin, she allowed to ho inside with burqa, but then, returned back from there, Not sure why such rules !! Silly thing is they say covid 19 as reason for their ask to remove Burqa

We have joined our mother in St Joseph General Hospital in February, 2020. Well maintained hospital. It is one of the oldest historical hospitals in Guntur. All super specialities available here.

The staff here have no sense of responsibility to a patients life. They are inhumane and very rude! Till the very last minute no one informed us that my mom's ECG is abnormal and all they kept saying is that my mom's condition is not serious whereas her condition went from being ok to being lifeless in a matter of 20 minutes! DONT GO TO THIS HOSPITAL IF YOU WANT TO LIVE!!!!

The worse hospital ever I seen in life. RMP doctors are even better than the doctors here. They don't know how to respect people and even they treat them as slaves. The patient should not utter a single word, if they do say the drs will get angry and will use foul language. They suggest only c section and money minded. If you go while pains or emergency, no one will be there to rush and take care. My biggest mistake is to opt this hospital for delivery. Requesting the entire management, just guide the hospital staff and doctors, patients are not slaves and they need to be treated respectfully and carefully. Just because doctors, you have no right to yell at patients specifically when they are on their first delivery and on the delivery bed. It kill them mentally.

The one star service especially for nursing . The nurses are very rude . Don’t attend the patients on time and if asked they will attend after 2 hrs like that . Earlier days st Joseph hospital was trademark for good nursing facility . Kerala nurses used to be very helpful and professional now they are replaced with local nurses who are short staffed and rude .

I don't suggest this hospital to anybody who is able to afford a better treatment. No sense of urgency, zero arrangements during emergency admissions, doctor staff coordination is broken, management involvement doesn't exist, lack of ownership specially during crisis situations. Not ready to take risk again by suggesting this place to anybody.

Worst behavior by receptionists at OPD. 1. Aadhar is mandatory for consultation, they don't even consider and give application even if we provide soft copy and do not consider the early visit. The reason they give for the same is for proper address of the patient and also Aadhar of not only patient but also spouse is mandatory !! That too only hard copy. 2. Muslims are asked to remove Burqa at the reception, strange !! how these people put rules when u can see there is no difference between burqa and Nun's habit. It's absolutely ok to remove Burqa inside the doctors cabin but why should someone remove it in presence of many other patients and attendents right at the reception ? When reached to the Director Rev. Sr. Gladys Inviolata, she asked the staff to allow patient to go inside with burqa, but then, returned back from there without consulting the doctor, Not sure why such rules !! Silly thing is they say covid 19 as the reason for their ask to remove Burqa.

Though it's a century old hospital customs here seems changed now a days. Everyday atleast 50% or more new born babies will be shifted to NICU and pediatricians here are like paid actors (only talks about insurance / payments). Hospital management is playing with just born babies. On the day of delivery my baby had little issue as he swallowed woomb water, by same day evening baby was doing good. Though my baby was healthy they admitted him to NICU for 4days and their reason was insurance. Sunday is holiday they says and doctor says baby is good for discharge but management (billing) is insisting to hold baby. This was never ever expected from hospital like this.

The wrost response from the doctors. 02-09-21 Today My wife came with pains for the delivery. But the on duty lady doctor was responded very rudely and shouted on patient. One side she was getting pains but the doctor was showing with over attitude nooo pains and go way from here, you come on 16th of this month is your delivery date and we are decided to join 8th of this month.. But pains doesn't know they came on 2nd early. As a doctor first you must know what she is facing problem then only need to react.. Finally we are decided to change the hospital... Due to wrost response from the doctor

Kindly do not take chances for any emergencies (Known / Unknown issues). All the docs for critical issues are sourced from outside due to which there would be lot of delay in diagnosing and treatment. Pls don't waste your time and money.

This hospital is the best hospital i have ever seen in my life!!! my mom got admitted for an operation and they did it early morning at 8:30 to 10: 40 am, my mom after recovery told me everything about the nurses the doctors and all, she told that they supported her a lot, before the operation my mom was cared and was crying but the nurses came up, motivated her, encouraged her and made her laugh so much. Then during the operation my mom told me that 2 or 3 nurses were holding her hand all the time. All the hate comments about this hospital are fake !!! believe me ! after her recovery the nurses came to visit every time and made her laugh. i would never ever regret this hospital my mom also told me that the nurses wash the toilet everyday, the rooms are very neat and clean, the hospital is also veryyyyyyyyy nice. the doctors come on time and do he operation properly. today my mom is discharging and she is very happy about it also when i came to visit the hospital the nurses were really kind to me . i just love this hospital which has home like atmosphere. i would definitely recommend this hospital , believe me u will not regret it.
