Guntur railway station is great with 7 platforms. There's some work going on at the back entrance so, better to come through front entrance. Platforms are being sanitised by workers when i entered the station. It's not so crowded when i was travelling there. All basic utilities like toilets, drinking water, waiting halls, ticket counters and benches are provided. Canteens are available. But, personally I don't consume drinking water in the station. Better not to consume Because of hygeine problems. Free wifi in the railway station is provided but in my laptop it's not connecting and some times it's getting disconnected. So, better to have a good data plan based on your choice. But one thing, i disliked about this is the first platform which is filled with foul smell of seafood It's unbearable to inhale and transported goods are kept here for a long time. So, i felt uncomfortable there. There are some major trains of South Indian railways and central Indian railways travel via this train station. So, if this station is near to you travel via this station. My overall experience is good.

Its a well managed railway station. Announcement of train happens in proper manner. Staff is supportive and one can get many trains to north, south and east india from here. Waiting rooms of each class has sufficient number of chairs. Station has luxurious dormitory and fresh up facility at premium charges. Inspite of railways rules of break journey on UTS tickets, TTE staff is not ready to do the same which is dereliction of their duty.

Lots of choices of food stalls. The enquiry counter is very well behaved and helpful. It was the junction to the Hyderabad and by Kadapa through Tirupathi and Repall and Vijayawada some other divisions ,and are maintained cleaner and development is going on based on the culture , it have underground bridge, 1 & 4 they are maintaining fans 2&3 they not providing fans, drinking water facility not available in 2&3 at the time of whenever i visited this station overall it not bad,but they need to maintain water some other passengers requirements.

The cleanest railway station I saw in a long time. The station was well maintained and clean. It had all necessary stores and shops. It was easily accessible from all side with PwD parking and entrance. The best thing was it was one of the only few stations in India that had a working subway to access other platforms. I think only 2 other places in India have this.

The station is well maintained & also clean, this station has 7 platform, and after lockdown all stores are open now, snacks n beverages are available at stores, railways staff/sellers selling even food on platform for long travelling passengers.

It is a large area. It have many entering entrance. It also includes lift system. It has underground tunnels that connect platform (no overbridge system to go other platforms). It have both free and paid waiting hall. It also have free and paid Toilets Well maintained platforms Paid drinking water facilities.

Numerous significant improvements and modernizations have taken place, elevating the railway system to new heights. This overhaul has resulted in enhanced efficiency, comfort, and safety for passengers. There has been a striking similarity between Congress's treatment of Indians and the British colonial rule. Both treated Indians like slaves. They didn't bothered about basic amenities to people.

The worst Railway Station, after private it they are charging Rs 460/- for A/C waiting hall. The worst toilets smell horribly. What is happening to Indian Railways??

One of the largest railway station in Andhra Pradesh, it is well maintained and clean.Guntur railway station handles around 43,000 passengers every day and has multiple entry and exit gates on both sides. The main entrance located at Railpet side is known as Guntur Government Hospital gate in common parlance. It leads to platform number 1. This entrance has been named as terminal-I and has gate numbers 1 to 7. The entrance on the rear side, also known as Arundalpet side, has been named as terminal-II

No common trains between this stations *** One of the most important junction located in guntur district at headquarters it's self Located in "kothapet" Area of guntur. About guntur railway station :- Interesting thing in station is underpass tunnels instead of foot over bridges for change the platforms. How ever recently construting foot over brideges also ( 2020 - 2022 ) but mostly used are under pass. Guntur junction consist of 7 platforms. All are in working condition. Facilities :- #big parking place on east gate side # share auto stand and small bus stop in front of east gate on main road, how ever autos available at West gate also #at entrance of east gate ticket counter, reservation counter, enquiry counters available # on platform :-1 , paid toilets, food stalls, cooldrink water, and tea stalls available, lift facilities to go underground tunnel Platform 2 :- food stalls and tea coffee stalls, toilets. Platform 3 , 4 , 5, and 6 :- tea stalls, food stalls, toilets facilities available. Platform 7 :- exit way to West gate ( to arundelper side) , ticket counters available. Station maintenance are good. Approximately 25 + trains daily passes through this staion. However same trains starts from here ( example golconda express, palnadu express etc) Guntur junction has two way one east gate and another west gate. East gate of junction IS JUST INFRONT OF GGH ( GUNTUR GENERAL HOSPITAL, GOVERNMENT HOSPITAL) , it's path to old govt hospital, medical college, andhra christinan college, and important places like Naaz centers and guntur bus stand. On other hand west gate is path to ARUNDEL PET and brodipet, lodge centers roads to amaravathi and gorintla etc

Everything is good I seen police officers are monitoring whether the passengers wear masks are not. It's good railways station

I've been quite a few times and it looks so calm and not much crowdy. There is no delay in train timings. Be careful about wet pathways. People and dogs sleep on platforms and steps at nights, so night passengers when moving pls look around and walk. And definitely need not worry about the transport.

Going to too many routes are available this railway station, clean and simple maintains and under ground way and lift system steps also available here, near to Govt hospital and shopping complex and cinema halls

Guntur Railway station.. A major junction connecting almost all trains running all over India. Well maintained, spacious and easily reachable from bus station too.

Good maintenance at all platforms seen. Easy way access to city from platforms. Nice built underground passage, neatly maintained since decades. Hat's off to the engineering department who worked for underground passage. AC waiting lounge(paid) at platform no.1
