My review is of someone who spent weeks exploring Madagascar's national Park. I had the worst experience of all at Lokobe: packed with tourists in flip flops totally unprepared. The guides do not respect wildlife, they touch and grab animals to show them off to tourists, dropping them along the way. They feed the lemurs, which is totally unacceptable. Overall this park offers a zoo-like experience to beach goers staying in Nosy Be. Not recommended.

Exhausting because warm but rewarding. And it's really a jungle with lemurs, snakes, chameleons, etc. It's nice that you're an observer and the animals are shown by the guide but not disturbed or fed, like on nosy komba

Une réserve accessible par pirogue ou il convient de participer en ramant. On débarque sur une plage proche d'un village qui comporte plusieurs stands de souvenirs tous identiques... Les villageois ne sont pas insistants. Par contre il existe 3 catégories officielles d'ylang ylang en terme de qualité : celle qui est vendue au village en mignonnette est inférieure à la troisième. Autant dire que c'est un attrape touriste. La visite s'effectue dans la forêt tropicale ou vous pourrez voir des lemuriens, des caméléons, des gecko, grenouilles, serpents, ainsi qu'une végétation luxuriante. Un conseil, prenez de quoi faire fuir les moustiques ou de quoi vous protéger.... Ils sont avides !!

Tak tento výlet určitě stojí za to. Rezervace je v původním a dochovaném pralese na Nosy Be. Takže chození po pralese s místním průvodcem, který vidí opravdu vše a vy tím pádem také, je opravdu úžasný zážitek. Lemuři, chameleoni, gekoni, ještěrky, pavouci, hadi, ptáci a prostě vše co tu žije vidíte v úžasném pralese. To musíte opravdu vidět.

We really liked the national park and it was amazing what the guide found. When I go shopping I would look at things carefully. We bought vanilla beans that were already cut open. We found it quite funny that you had to paddle there and a motorized boat pulled us back.

Riserva naturale. Da visitare SOLO con guida locale. Si possono ammirare una flora e fauna spettacolare. Da non perdere.

Post meraviglioso dove vive ancora la biodiversità incontaminata. Per visitare la riserva occorre affidarsi a persone serie che sappiano guidarvi nella scoperta della flora e della fauna. Imperdibile per chi vuole andare oltre i resort di Nosy Be e capire le meraviglie del Madagascar

Beautiful nature, a protected forest of ancient trees, endemic plants, the possibility of seeing lemurs, flat-footed snakes, various types of chameleons, lizards, centipedes, frogs, etc. Local guides are pleasant and considerate.
