I
had
an
early
morning
flight
on
Dec
31.
First
I
was
shocked
to
find
out
that
they
did
not
have
an
airport
shuttle.
Googling
the
hotel
before
booking
had
indicated
they
had
a
free
airport
shuttle.
One
of
the
reasons
I
chose
a
hotel
close
to
the
airport
was
the
ability
to
get
to
the
airport
without
hassle
in
the
morning.
They
said
they
could
book
me
a
car
to
take
me
to
the
airport
and
wanted
750
rupees
for
a
2
km
ride!
I
had
invited
a
friend
over
to
discuss
some
joint
projects
and
he
arrived
at
7:40
PM.
I
went
to
the
reception
to
meet
him
and
take
him
to
the
room,
I
was
informed
that
visiting
hours
would
end
at
8
pm!
I
was
incredulous.
Did
I
check
into
a
hospital
or
a
prison
that
my
guests
had
visiting
hours?
They
said
my
guest
could
stay
later
but
insisted
I
give
them
a
time
my
guest
would
depart
by.
At
that
point,
I
felt
like
packing
my
bags
and
leaving
and
finding
a
different
hotel,
but
I
was
too
tired,
so
I
told
them
10
pm.
My
guest
departed
around
9
pm.
My
guest
said
they
were
rude
to
him
and
made
him
show
his
aadhar
card
and
made
a
copy
of
it
before
they
even
called
my
room.
When
I
used
the
bathroom
in
the
middle
of
the
night,
I
noticed
that
the
water
wasn't
coming
through
the
taps
and
the
flush
wasn't
working
either.
I
called
front
desk
and
they
told
me
their
water
pressure
was
low
and
water
had
been
turned
off
and
it
would
be
turned
on
again
at
5
AM.
I
told
them
I
had
to
get
up
at
5:30
and
get
ready
to
go
to
the
airport
and
they
assured
me
I
would
be
fine.
I
wake
up
at
5:30
and
the
water
is
barely
a
trickle
and
there
was
no
hot
water.
I
called
front
desk
again
and
they
sent
someone
to
fix
the
problem
and
the
person
couldn't
fix
it.
They
again
told
me
about
their
water
pressure
problem
without
a
single
word
of
apology.
I
had
a
long
international
flight
to
catch
and
understandably
wanted
to
be
clean
before
I
started
my
journey.
I
somehow
managed
to
fill
a
bucket
of
cold
water
from
the
trickle
and
managed
to
brush
my
teeth,
shave
and
shower
using
it.
Quite
an
ordeal
before
my
29
hour
air
journey!
When
I
checked
out,
there
was
not
a
word
of
apology
for
the
inconvenience.
One
of
the
front
desk
clerks
was
nice
enough
to
call
me
an
uber
from
her
phone
(I
didn't
have
an
Indian
phone)
and
that
was
the
only
nice
thing
about
the
stay
otherwise
it
was
an
absolute
nightmare
and
the
exact
opposite
of
what
I
thought
I
was
signing
up
for
-
a
nice
restful
night
at
a
4+
star
hotel
near
the
airport.
Hope
prospective
visitors
read
this
review
and
think
twice
before
booking
a
stay
here.
I
will
be
posting
this
to
all
the
travel
sites
I
can
find.
Hope

can

my
traumatic
experience.
