Angamaly Mangacurry is truly amazing, especially the beef fry! They offer delicious Coorka beef and Kaya with beef. The only drawback is the limited variety of side dishes, currently only two options available.

The highlight of my meal was undoubtedly the beef fry. The Coorka beef, cooked to tender perfection, was bursting with flavor. The Kaya with beef, a unique combination of tender coconut pieces and succulent beef, was another delightful surprise. However, there are a few areas where Nelvayal Hotel could improve. The limited variety of side dishes (only two options available during my visit) felt restrictive and detracted from the overall dining experience. Additionally, the brown rice I ordered was undercooked and lacked the fluffy texture expected from well-prepared rice. Despite these shortcomings, Nelvayal Hotel remains a destination for anyone seeking a delicious and authentic taste of Angamaly cuisine. The outstanding Angamaly Mangacurry and exceptional beef dishes are enough to entice any food lover. With a few improvements to the side dishes and rice preparation, Nelvayal Hotel can truly become a culinary gem.

Food was good, not very costly. We heard very good opinion and went with that expectation but that wow feeling was not there.

Good homely meals with specials like Fish fry, Beef kaaya and beef fry almost every day . Worth the money and do try. Not an over the top kinda place and food but there is something special about it and me personally I keep going back.

Good restaurant with tasty dishes. Enough parking space on the National Highway. Traditional Kerala style meals with local non-veg cuisines. Economical rates, total value for money.
