Just a scam running around Kochi. If you have visited Alleppey or have plan to visit any backwaters don't feel shy from skipping this place. They charge heavily & roam around for 1 hour where you can see 2-3, 5 star hotels, some fishing nets & mangroves. There is lot of waiting time until your turn comes. This is just waste of money & time. Better to enjoy other points in & around Kochi rather than this.

Please don't visit it's a tourist trap they will show nothing as compared to the price which they are charging. They were asking 4000 just for a small ride in the backwater. Worthless avoid visiting here

Best backwaters ride in Kochi where they cover 14 Km and you can watch varieties of birds and of course, the Chinese fishing nets! Thank you Lijin chetta, you made it a memorable ride!

Loved the serene view of the backwaters. I would suggest not to go for houseboats with night stays instead take a good resort or hotel in reasonable price and go for day cruise or day long ride (3-4 hours) in KSRTC govt. Houseboat service and you can get the boat in just 500 per hour with a very good service.

Beautiful place to plan a family boat ride. They charged around 3500 for a family of three. The boaters have good amount of knowledge on the locality. A 75 minute ride in the backwater. Chinese fishing nets. Birds. Mangrove forest. Parking available.

Tourist trap, beware! Very expensive (we paid 2,500 rupees, which we were told was already a big 'discount' from the 3,500 list price). The trip is about an hour but you only really see built up areas behind hotels and the Kochi urban sprawl, very little actual nature. The driver didn't know any bird names and they clearly run this as a business rather than wanting to let you experience the backwaters. You can find better and much more affordable alternatives in Aleppey.

Awesome experience with beautiful views and unforgettable bird watching experience. Our boat rider was so enthusiastic, took us to nice hidden spots and took good photos. We learnt lil bit abt backwaters, Chinese nests and birds 🦅

Not worth the price at all for 2500/- boat ride in city backwaters. Better to try Kayaking in Mangrove Village near Varkala which was just 1000/- per person for 3 hrs and totally worth the price and time. Or cab also try poovar island boating near trivandrum.

Visited Kochi in December. Did backwater ride for around 3hours In the afternoon. Enjoyed alot. More enjoyable when visit at evening. If you visit Kochi, must do backwater ride. One of the great experience in our trip.

The most Beautiful place for visitors. Must visit place. They (boater) have a good amount of knowledge to provide their customers. Beautiful Mangroves forest (kind of banyan tree). So many beautiful birds. Also Chinese fishing net. I recommend every visiter to visit this beautiful. I paid 3500/- per couple but it worth it for an hour.

I almost agree with other ppl who said this is a scam. This is a like a scam due to differential prices they charge. . They tie up with tourist car drivers and drivers make commission from Bluemarine for recommending this boating to their customers. . They don't allow you to travel with other tourists so your individual cost is low. To be continued.

This 45 50 minutes city backwater ride was such a great and different experience... natural beauty, huge variety of birds, trees, chinese nets, Tendulkar's farm house, etc., were the attractions here... maza aaya

Its advertised that mangrove forest can be seen or taken into but its actually some trees along the shore that they show as mangrove forest which is a scam. Its not worth for the money one spends. Better to take marine drive in kochi rather spend so much money here. They dont show any isolated places but its within the city limits nothing special.

Very good experience. For almost over one and a half hour they took 5000 so I found it a bit pricy. But the mangroves and the view is amazing. Just sitting in the Kerala style boat makes the money worth it.

they charged 3500 for 2 person for 1and half hr boating. water stinks and cant bear the loud noise of speed boat. nothing to watch they show some 5 star hotels and few mangroove trees. I dont recommend this even if its free of cost. like others said its tourist trap.

DO NOT GO for this Tourist Trap -...As soon as you reach Fort Kochi , Tuk tuk drivers will tell alot of good things about this place & take u far to Blue Marine... There is nothing to see & it is waste of Time, Money.... We paid 1700 via auto driver & it is still not worth it even 500

Pathetic.. Not at worth the 3500 this guys are charging to roam around a lake and show u Chinese fishfarming, floating house, bridges over the lake, mangrove Forests , etc etc Suggest not to go for this place

If you have already been to alleppey or poovar island… This will be a disappointment for sure. There are no fixed rates. They ll charge from 2000 to 4500. If you haven’t experience the backwaters then it’s okay

This was very expensive 3500 INR for an hour compared to other trips in Kerala this was a rip off! The boat driver was very nice but a complete waste of money, although the views were nice it was nothing special, you could get same view from a bridge over the water.

Tourist trap ..They charged 3500 for 1hr trip in a small boat .We were only four persons .Our taxi driver took us to this place. This place is realy shabby can see only tall building's in city side.realy not worth for the money we spend. nothing to enjoy . please avoid this bluemarine team .

Decent 1 hour boat ride if you are looking for something near Kochi. They say they will show mangroves and we expected to go between them but that was not the case. You go near it but it’s not possible to go through it so lower your expectations. The rates seemed negotiable and they charged us 4500 for 6 people. The views are pretty and the sea breeze was nice. You go about 7 kms in and then come back the same distance.

When visiting the BLUEMARINE backwater with your family, be sure to take in the beautiful scenery and indulge in some delicious coconut water in the center.

Overpriced place. They charged Rs.4000 for 4 adults and 2 kids in a small boat for one hour. Zero value for money. For this amount you would expect a better experience with the boat ride with good narration on the birds, the terrain and more. They fleece foreigners through driver agents. Thoroughly enquire other options before booking.
