This place had nice staff and clean rooms. It's been renovated, like Wyndham is doing with many of their Super 8 properties around the country over the last couple years. It is no 5 star resort, but it is perfectly quiet, safe and clean for a nice and affordable stay in the Irish Hills and MI lakes areas as well as just down the street from Michigan International Speedway! Great location! Cute place. Pet friendly for $15/night fee! But they do ask you don't leave your pet in the room unattended, unfortunately, not even if in a crate.

Staff was nice, my room however was dirty. It hadn't been dusted in God knows how long. The carpet by the walls hadn't been trimmed vacuumed. Then I wake up. Sheets had become undone. And there was dry brown blood on the mattress cover. Not for the price I paid. I have photos of all of it. Absolutely sickening.

Not your ordinary Super 8 by any means; many cuts above the ordinary! You won't feel like you are in a Super 8. Exterior is neat and attractive. Rooms are very large, well-appointed and clean. Everything about the hotel looks clean and well-maintained. Ample parking. Staff is friendly, courteous and professional. I needed to check in early as wet weather cancelled my plans for the day. Management graciously got me into my room well ahead of check-in time. It is obvious management and staff take pride in their hotel.

Love this place! The staff is super friendly. I felt very comfortable here. They definitely went out of their way to be helpful. Also, as another review said, the coffee in the breakfast area is always available and quite good! Coffee is my lifeblood, so that alone went a long way with me lol.

We had to come stay during a power outage at our home for 2 days. We got the second to last room. Once we went up to our room we found it was dirty and under construction. I went down to tell the desk staff and they were very apologetic. They gave us a jacuzzi suite for us for the same price as the other room we had rented. That was the very last room! We got lucky and the staff was great. Rooms are remodeled. Some beds are better then others. I had stayed here last year and that bed was much more comfortable. They also allow pets and the pet fee is very reasonable.

Had to have an emergency stay during 4th of July week and the staff was friendly and accommodating. I felt safe, comfortable, and my room was very clean. Their offered breakfast options aren't very nutritious (prepackaged and non perishable aside from yogurt cups) so I'd recommend getting a decent meal from Poppi's Place up the road (don't waste your time or money at Big Boy). Their coffee machine was actually pretty good and was pleasantly surprised to find that. My only issue is that there isn't an elevator so if you can't climb stairs or need to use a dolly to transport your luggage, you have to get a first floor room.

Quaint establishment, placed in a nice quiet town, with exceptional service and extremely kind and friendly staff. The hospitality is outstanding. Would come here for a vacation even when I'm not here for a race car competition. For my first time being in the States, they have made my time here very pleasant and made me feel welcomed.

The rooms really need to be updated...the room had a musty smell, the floor needed new carpet. If I wasn't there for a wedding I would not have stayed.

Very clean, exceptional service. The gentleman at the front desk even gave my truck a jump start with his personal vehicle. Excellent stay.

Room was clean, bed was comfortable. Free coffee and poptarts in the morning.

Stayed for 4 nights. Rooms were clean, reasonably priced and staff was attentive and friendly.
