Very
well
restored,
preserved
and
maintained
pre-war
mansion
in
colonial
style.
Used
to
be
a
seaside
property
back
when
a
big
part
of
Manila
Bay
wasn’t
reclaimed
land.
The
property
has
a
chapel,
museum,
and
events
venue.
It’s
a
gem
at
the
edge
of
Pasay
&
Parañaque
cities.
Although,
our
group
enjoyed
the
place
very
much,
an
unfortunate
incident
happened
when
my
92-year
old
aunt
lost
her
balance
on
their
walkway
leading
to
the
driveway.
The
end
of
the
walkway
had
a
narrow
step-up
with
white
rocks
in
between
the
cemented
step-up
and
driveway.
It
was
an
awkward
part
for
my
aunt’s
walker
or
for
anyone
on
a
wheelchair.
My
aunt
ultimately
fell
on
the
grass
which
scared
us
because
just
had
a
hip
replacement.
Good
thing
she
didn’t
fall
on
the
cemented
walkway.
I
would
think
that
establishments
like
these,
especially
since
it’s
an
event
venue,
would
be
handicap
prepared
and
equipped.
Upon
reporting
the
incident
to
the
manager,
he
said
that
they
usually
put
a
ramp
on
that
specific
spot
but
were
not
made
aware
that
there
were
guests
on
walkers/wheelchairs
coming.
Do
we
have
to
call
each
establishment
to
request
for
this?
I
think
this
has
been
an
ordinance
in
every
city
for
ALL
establishments
to
be
handicap
friendly.
The
staff
could
have
been
more
proactive
as
well
in
bringing
out
that
ramp
the
moment
they
saw
some
guests
in
walkers.
This
incident
could
have
turned
out
much
worse.
We
thank
God
that
our
aunt
is
ok.
Meanwhile,
The
Loggia
by
Margarita
Fores
was
a
treat!
The
al
fresco
dining
was
perfect
in
this
time
of
pandemic
where
eating
outdoors
is
encouraged.
Albeit
the
heat
from
the
noonday
sun,
the
place
had
a
cool
&
refreshing
vibe.
Loved
the
squash
flowers
as
an
appetizer;
the
lamb
shoulder
with
polenta
&
of
course
a
number
of
pasta
choices
on
the
menu.
Will
definitely
come
back
for
more!
5
stars
for
The
Loggia!!!
