While
I
must
admit
that
the
location
and
ambiance
of
Tipulo
were
exceptional,
I
regret
to
say
that
my
dining
experience
was
marred
by
the
disappointment
of
the
food.
As
much
as
I
wanted
to
give
this
place
a
stellar
review,
I
can
only
award
it
2
stars
due
to
the
subpar
quality
of
the
cuisine.
Let's
start
with
the
positives.
The
restaurant's
location
was
undeniably
excellent,
charming
atmosphere.
It
was
the
kind
of
place
that
made
you
want
to
stay
and
soak
in
the
surroundings.
However,
the
same
level
of
care
and
attention
did
not
extend
to
the
food.
The
menu
offered
an
enticing
array
of
options,
but
unfortunately,
the
execution
fell
short
of
expectations.
The
dishes
lacked
flavor
and
were
poorly
seasoned.
It
was
evident
that
the
culinary
team
did
not
pay
sufficient
attention
to
the
quality
and
presentation
of
the
food.
Pancit
was
too
salty.
Kare-kare
doesnt
taste
like
kare-kare
at
all.
Sisig
has
90%
onions,
7%
pork
fat
and
3%
meat.
Lumpiang
gulay
was
terrible.
Fried
rice
was
terrible.
Price
to
quality
ratio
is
terrible.
Service,
too,
was
a
letdown.
While
the
staff
was
friendly
and
courteous,
the
wait
times
between
courses
were
excessively
long.
This
further
added
to
the
frustration
of
the
dining
experience.
Considering
the
fantastic
location
and
ambiance,
it
is
truly
disheartening
that
the
food
did
not
live
up
to
expectations.
As
a
guest,
one
expects
the
culinary
experience
to
match
the
overall
atmosphere
and
be
a
highlight
of
the
visit.
Unfortunately,
in
the
case
of
Tipulo,
the
food
failed
to
deliver.
It
is
my
sincere
hope
that
Tipulo
takes
the
necessary
steps
to
improve
the
quality
of
their
cuisine
and
enhance
their
service
standards.
With
some
significant
improvements
in
these
areas,
they
have
the
potential
to
become
a
standout
dining
destination
that
matches
the
allure
of
their
location.
