Turtles Nest, overlooking Meads Bay - one of the world’s premier beaches on the Western end of Anguilla, is an excellent place to stay in Anguilla. Beautiful views, beach access, a pool, a constant fresh breeze, plenty of shade, plenty of windows if you’re into indoors. A delightfully comfortable and spacious bed, furnished kitchen - plus rooftop access. Plenty of excellent restaurants, Best Buy grocery store, and a gas station conveniently located within a few minute drive. Superb staff. You could say it has it all.

We enjoyed our stay at Turtle's Nest. The staff, setting, and amenities were fantastic. Mead's Bay is an amazing, clean, soft white sand beach with lovely sunset views we watched every night from the beach chairs out front. The location on the island is ideal with so many restaurants nearby and easy access to route 1. The website photo for our studio room makes it appear that the water is right outside the window, but that view is only to the walkway to the other building. If you stand in the right place, you can see the beach from the porch. The room size and space is nice enough but the furniture is quite dated. The bed provided little support even with the mattress topper that has been added, the two chairs are very close by, and there is no real other space to sit comfortably. The ceiling fans are loud. The refrigerator makes a popping noise each time the motor kicks on. There is no full length mirror in the room anywhere that we found. The door must be bolted from the inside to be locked properly, this would never fly elsewhere as it is a safety risk in a fire. No, we did not talk to the office staff about these things, because there was nothing that could have been done for a relatively short stay. While the studio rooms pictured on the website appear to have water views out one or another window, we could only see the beach from the patio. Don't sleep on the pancakes at the coffee shop next door (facing the road).

With all due respect, do not book here. All the reviews are fake. The place is old, the concierge are not so helpful. Do yourself a favor there are many hotel/vacation spot in Anguilla. Avoid this place. Do yourself a favor. I’m writing a review so you dont have to experience the far worse vacation to date.

We just loved this place. From checkin to checkout the experience was enjoyable. Betania and Jackie along with the other staff made our 8 day stay very special. Our ocean facing 1 bedroom was superb, clean and very large with all the amenities compared to similar properties in other Caribbean islands. The grounds and building are well maintained, with lots of lush greenery and flowers throughout the property. Make sure you’re on property late afternoon when that amazing rum punch is served by Betania & Jackie. We could not have asked for more, and cannot wait to return in a few months to this very special place.

Our apartment was located on the beach and was huge and well furnished. The views were spectacular and the beach beautiful. Supermarket and restaurants are very close. Update: went back again this year. Once again spectacular, best location on Anguilla. They have upgraded their service, with daily cleaning service and very efficient concierge service. Best price/quality on Anguilla.

Excellent location on one of the best beaches on Anguilla. Clean rooms with helpful staff. Great value overall. Would definitely stay here again.

SCAM ALERT! 1. Actual property is not as pictured in the listing. 2. Host stopped responding right after we checked in. 3. No solution was provided, I am trying to get a refund from Airbnb Trust only in other 1 star reviews! Host has scammed others in the past, they scammed me, and they will do it again. Airbnb should not allow fraudulent hosts like this to operate in their platform. -Listing: high unit with a “balcony overlooking the beach”. Good light and white, modern furniture. Private with no other people looking into the unit. -Actual Property: ground floor unit next to the reception with no balcony, looks straight into a comunal pool. Old furniture. Very dark despite whole unit covered in windows, anyone at the pool or walking to the reception looks into the unit. If I had seen pictures of the actual property, I would have not booked it at all, no matter the price I would have just booked somewhere else.

I am not sure why there are so many positive reviews on this resort because I did not have a good experience. The room was extremely dirty. The pool is directly in front of this room. Everyone could see right into the living room and kitchen. There was zero privacy. The housekeeping staff did not clean or wipe off anything. There were crumbs and fingerprints all over everything. This is not a true resort. It is run down and the grounds are not clean either. The beach is beautiful but not worth $700 PER NIGHT. There are much nicer and cleaner hotels for half this cost. Do yourself a favor and read all of the reviews before booking here. There is no way this was an isolated/overlooked housekeeping issue. I am certain this is the standard for this place.

Can't say enough, there is a reason you return and smile. The long time staff do whatever is/can be. Location is excellent. Membership has its benefits.

I had such a great experience I'm writing this from the airport before even returning home! We had the best vacation of our lives, much of it due to the Turtle's Nest. We stayed in a 4th floor 1 bedroom unit. The unit was clean, the house keeping staff was amazing, the bed was extremely comfortable, and the staff generously stocked our room with a few snacks and goodies upon arrival. The staff are all friendly and great to work with. Of course, the views - what can I say? The beaches here are amazing, and beach chairs/umbrellas are included with stay. The location is amazing, with countless places within walking distance on Mead's Bay. Side bonus - there's an adorable resident white cat that you get to meet when you stay! We haven't gotten home yet and are already looking at the calendar to come back! Thank you for an absolutely phenomenal week. We can't wait to return!

Would definitely stay here again. Awesome location, right on the beach with several nearby restaurants, and a large food market within walking distance. We stayed in a studio room with a side ocean-view. Actually stayed in 2 different rooms during our stay, and each room was different as these are individually owned condos, but still happy in each. Full kitchen, washer/dryer, good internet, and good service. We walked down to The Four Seasons, and it was loud, over-crowded, and severely over-priced. So glad we stay here. Thanks Jackie and team!

Turtle's Nest was great. We had a 1 bedroom villa with a beautiful view of the most beautiful beach ever. Our check in experience was seamless thanks to Betania who was there to answer all of our questions throughout our stay. We would definitely be staying here again for the beach and service. Pros: Location, views, tranquility. Cons: No on site restaurant or vending ( nearby restaurants do service the beach area and many deliver so you can get food very easily and there is a huge grocery store with reasonable prices around the corner) fitness center and umbrellas over the pool loungers.( the umbrellas are on the beach but it would be nice to have a few at the pool.

Very lovely resort on Anguilla with a nice beach right in front of the hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful with satisfying covid-related entry requirements. They provided us with snacks and wine while we quarantined in the hotel for ~12 hours waiting for our test result (and we could access the pool/beach during quarantine). I would definitely stay again!

I love Turtle's Nest and the staff is amazing!!! Anything I needed they were accommodating of no matter how stressing (likely annoying) I was, down to COVID testing arrangements. Bettina, Jaqui, Scoobie, and the countless other members of staff were so perfect. I can't wait to visit Anguilla again and stay there. My son loved it so much and constantly asks when we are going back. Highly recommend!!!!

I went to visit Anguilla during my honeymoon. I found “ turtle’ s nest “ and it was amazing. Jackie and Tanya are so nice and the apartments are incredible. This place is perfect! it's like paradise! So please, be nice to the staff who work hard for you. thanks girls! Thanks for everything!!!!! We will come next winter!

Amazing front desk service. Jackie helped me stay safe and sane every step of the way. Could not ask for better service. Clean room, daily clean sheets and towels, fully functional kitchen, and amazing views of the beach if you're on the correct side of the building. Worth every penny!!
