Very nice restaurant wirh very good food.

Ulus branch of Uludağ kebap, is an Ankara classic. They only serve Döner and it’s derivatives. Uludağ is still good, but not as great as it’s used to be. In lunch time, portions are probably prepared in advance, then heated before being served. At least mine was surely like that. This process makes dishes feel much more fatty and less consistent in terms of heat distribution. Either way, service is good and atmosphere is fine.

Very attentive service, delicious food, nice view. The place has like 4 floors, lots of space, feels very clean. I was surprised to see such a nice restaurant on an ugly, unmaintained street, it's a bit of a hidden gem. Ended up paying only slightly more than we usually do in other restaurants.

Amazing food! One of the best in Ankara.

We went there for early dinner. Ordered 3 Iskender. The meat was lukewarm. It tasted like it came out of microwave. I will never suggest their iskender dish I do not believe that they have a real meat they might be using frozen sliced meat. waste of money and time

If you want to eat the best best iskender kebap of Turkey this is the place, I lived 3 years in Bursa and I have not see such quality, in Bursa I have tried many famous place though... Uludag is hte top one in Ankara, and probably in the whole west of Turkey

Their specialty is Iskender kebap. This is one of the oldest restaurants in the city and one of its gems.

Very nice experience. The food is great. The köfte meatballs look more like sausages and are very tasty without being spicy (which I was very happy about). They also come with a little rice, mashed potatoes, a baked tomato and baked green peppers. The shepherd’s salad (çoban salata) is vegetarian, with tomatoes, onion, green peppers, fresh cucumber and pickled cucumbers. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the very thin green peppers are not spicy at all; a few are sliced in the salad and a few others are cooked with the meatballs. I also had the krem karamel (crème brûlée), it was good. The tea was a bit too bitter, even with sugar in it, but it’s the same as most teas I’ve tried in Turkey, so it’s just a matter of taste. The restaurant itself is very clean and fancy. It feels very safe, despite the surrounding neighborhood. It’s inside a hotel. Most of the staff speak English pretty well, certainly better than in other restaurants. They gave us the WiFi password. The internet is of very good quality, it even allows streaming. I would definitely dine here again if I were staying longer in Ankara. 10/10

Great place, good İskender. Yet İskender kebab is a food with a flavour ceiling :).

During a two days visit to Ankara, our group leader took us to Uludağ Kebapçısı for dinner. I had no idea of this place, since I do not live in Ankara. I was surprised by the flavour and tenderness of the meat. I have tested kebap in three of Istanbul's famous restaurants: The Original Iskender, Günaydın Restaurant and Bayramoğlu Döner. Uludağ Kebapçısı is by far the best among them. Highly recommended.

Too much oil, my İskender was almost floating on it. Too expensive. Poor ambience. I don't understand why people like here so much. Maybe it is nostalgia

Despite being in a poor neighborhood, the restaurant is classy and the food is good albeit on the expensive side. There is free parking on the higher side.

Not in a very top location but a very good food. They deserve to be on top in Ankara restaurants. Not many choices, but what they offered is was really very good and tasty. We recommend the islander which was amazing.
