Definitely one of the best Turkish baths in the country. This hamam has been well maintained so as to reflect traditional styles, the original architecture is beautiful, the facilities are clean, and the staff is great. Make sure to try the carbonated lemon juice ayran, it's a hard drink to find elsewhere.

I'm very glad I chose to visit this hamam, on my last day in Turkey. I've always wanted to visit a Turkish hamam, even though I had spent a few months travelling across the country, I never took the time. I'm grateful this was my first experience. It was clean, spacious, and the staff were very easygoing and relaxed. Exactly what I needed to wind down.

I just finished my Hamam... it cost me 65TL, and 20TL tips for the masseur. And 5TL for Ayran with lemon. You start with a key and room, you will wear a fabric around your waist and enter Sauna. Then you move to a table, first scrubbing full body, then you will take a shower. Then, full soap and body massage, then shower again. And you're done. I recommend you bring clean clothes so you can change afterwords, and with fresh start. The places is interesting as it was established in 1440. The entire hamam full with natural light in day time, really impressive and a piece of history. The stuff don't speak English, but for sure they would know the word TIP 😉

The oldest hammam in the city. It is worth visiting but it is not a luxurious experience. They can understand some English so you’ll get by. The service options are basic. However, the surrounding area is worth exploring. The architecture is old and interesting with little pathways and hidden shops to explore.

Wonderful. I went at 2pm so place was quiet. Place is very clean n beautiful. Body scrub was very good. Body massage was quick so don't expect a full body massage here. For 47 Lira, cannot get any better. Will visit again.

Worst treatment ever. The employees were so " friendly" that me and my friend had the feeling that they just wanted us out even before entering. 0 english, 0 any other language than turkish and 0 intention to try to communicate. Not even when trying to speak turkish and pointing at their list of prices were they eager to even trying to understand us. Very rude cashier. He did not even look at us, he just kept on looking at his book and did disrespectful sounds to make us understand that they were not interested in our presence.

Love this place! Suggest you bring a towel but they have everything to rent/buy. Had the most amazing experience- ask for Emine she’s incredible and gives the best massages! Swear all of my aches and pains were gone after her Hammam massage. Oldest Hammam in Ankara a real authentic no frills experience.

A place worth going to

Turkish hamam is okay. I got the whole package but it wasn't satisfactory. The oil massage after the Hamam made it up though. For a real Turkish hamam,better go to another one.
